[CLOSED] Battery Drain in Deep Sleep After Root - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hi, I rooted my OP8T (with PE13+) a few days ago.
I installed Greenify, hibernated some apps and enabled aggressive doze mode.
Next I underclocked CPU with fkm.
The problem is that now battery with screen off drain more than before rooting!
Is this battery usage in deep sleep with screen off normal? (attachment)
More than 10% in 4hours! (Only WiFi).
Could you please help me?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Battey help

I am using a HTC Sensation with Revolutionay HD ROM flashed. after a full charge O only get 12-13 hours use out of my device
screenshot by macman120, on Flickr
As you can see I am not an excessive user, I mainly use it for texting, twitter and Facebook. I make one or two calls a day and use the music player for about an hour max.
Any help would be appreciated
Apologies, just realised ive posted in wrong forum, would be appreciated if a mod could move please as I cannot find a delete post button.
Cheers
I would say discharge and charge it back up again, at least 3 times to be sure there is no problem.
Also in the thread ITSELF:
Q 1: After flashing Android Revolution HD my battery drains much faster. What can I do?
A: Please charge your battery to 100%, boot your device in ClockworkMod Recovery and go to Advanced ---> Wipe Battery Stats. Also see Question 7.
Also please read this ---> [GUIDE] Enlarge your battery life : an attempt to fix the battery drain
And this ---> [How to] Brilliant Battery Life 100% working!
For more details about wiping battery stats please read this
thanks for this I will try once my phone is at 100%
Your display takes up a considerable amount of your battery... You should definitely consider turning down the brightness or switch from auto brightness to just a lower preset value. You could also consider flashing a lower auto brightness patch if you really like your auto brightness.
Additionally you should consider checking out some other kernels or clocking your CPU to around 1180MHz as a maximum when your screen is on. This would reduce the amount of power used when you are using your phone for texting and whatnot. You can use the Overclock Daemon for this that is on your ROM. If it isn't then just leave it for the time being =P

[Q] "Android OS" keeps my device awake.

I just flashed the CM 12.1 Nightly and the AK Kernel. And after that I found a STRANGE SITUATION.
Usually, before sleep, I would turn my phone into Airplane Mode and just sleep. But I found the battery will reduce from approx. 100% to 92% in 5hrs.
How ever, during daytime with LTE signal, the battery seems not to drop.
Here's the battery history.

Install BBS+ / GSAM or Wakelock detector to see what keeps your device awake. Other than that hard to tell only from the default battery screen.

I do installed BBS and switched off Keep Awake, Auto Start and Wakeup. But it turns out the unusual wakelock mainly appeared in Kernel Wakelock. (ww4.sinaimg.cn/large/49977c5dgw1esakwxo781j20u01hc45o.jpg) Does that means I have to change a kernel or a system?
BTW, do you guys think OxygenOS is better than CM12.1? And do you have a recommended Kernel or ROM for both power-saving and performance ?
Thank you for any suggestions.

One thing in your Image. PowerManagerService.Wakelocks are detailed under > Partial Wakelocks.
Besides that I do not see anything abnormal.
As for Oxygen - I did not try it, because I am favoring the customisations and custom kernels. Maybe this will change with the new Hydrogen OS (28 May announcement?)

So, what's the best ROM and kernel? Or, in the other word, what's your current ROM and kernel?

I tested for the other time, it turns out that the major wakelock was PowerManagerService.Wakelocks. and PowerManagerService.Display. In Partical Wakelock, there's almost nothing.(Less than 1h in partical wakelock and about 3h in kernel wakelock.)

PowerManagerService.Wakelocks. > All the wakelocks accumulated (found in Partial Wakelocks)
PowerManagerService.Display > Display turned ON/Screen ON
So if you get 1h of PowerManagerService.Wakelocks, there must be something under Partial And TBH, 1h is not that much.

Battery Help - 22.6% usage from Android System

Hey, my phone's battery has been differing all the time. It has gone from 4-5hr SOT to 7-8hr SOT to 5-6hr SOT. Right now, I get around 5-6hr SOT, although with android system taking almost as much as the screen according to GSam. Im running Exodus Nightly 4/7/15 with Ak v274 and with the MixMatch V11 profile. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you very much!
These are the screenshots for GSam battery, amplify and Wakelock detector. Also, within settings, Screen is 7%, Android System is 4% and Android OS is 1%.

Please upload screenshots from discharge cycle from 100% to 5%
You can use disable service app to disable Google Play Services like Analytics, SystemUpdateService etc
You privacy manager if it's present in this ROM to disable Wake Up and Keep Awake permissions of most of the apps
Use Greenify/Servicely to disable all background unwanted processes and apps
5-6hr SOT is good enough on Lollipop if you keep all services and data 24hrs ON
Also to get more juice from your device, you can underclock it as AK kernel supports that feature.

[Completed] Xperia Z3 Compact- "Phone" App Draining Battery

"Phone" App draining battery
Hello, the phone app is draining all the battery from my Xperia Z3 Compact, always use about 20% ++ battery (more than the screen), also the phone is always awake, I'm non-rooted so I can't control wakelocks, is there anything I can do to prevent this?
I tried a factory reset and it's happening the same issue, should I root my phone and try to block system apps?
Thank you.
I have some battery stats screenshoots, but it seems I can't link to them

[Completed] 100% Awake, Galaxy S5. Better Battery Stats Kernel Wakelocks "File could not be read"

100% Awake, Galaxy S5. Better Battery Stats Kernel Wakelocks "File could not be read"
I've had my Samsung Galaxy S5 for over a year. A while back I updated the OS a couple of times, and now it's on Lollipop (5.1.1). Lately the battery life is very low, although I don't think this started at the same time as the upgrades.
I've tried to use Better Battery Stats to figure out why. It concurs with the Battery control panel that my phone is staying Awake all of the time, never in sleep mode. Most of the time is at the 300MHz cpu speed. Unfortunately when I try to view the Kernel Wakelocks section of BBS, it just says "File could not be read" and presents me no statistics. I was using an old version of BBS, and have just updated to the newest version and this behavior persists.
According to the Battery control panel my top consumers of battery life are Android OS (10-20%), Android System, Bluetooth, Screen, Google Play Services, Cell standby (2-5%), and then a bunch of apps at <5% each..
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
If your device is rooted you can try the Wakelock Detector from playstore to check your wakelocks. There are also apps to control your wakelocks and you can also use the Kernel Auditor app to further manage your device's behavior.
I didn't see a question in your post but you can try posting your issue in the forum linked below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help
The experts there may be able to help, good luck.
Thanks, I'll try the s5 help forum
