[Completed] Xperia Z3 Compact- "Phone" App Draining Battery - XDA Assist

"Phone" App draining battery
Hello, the phone app is draining all the battery from my Xperia Z3 Compact, always use about 20% ++ battery (more than the screen), also the phone is always awake, I'm non-rooted so I can't control wakelocks, is there anything I can do to prevent this?
I tried a factory reset and it's happening the same issue, should I root my phone and try to block system apps?
Thank you.

I have some battery stats screenshoots, but it seems I can't link to them

[Q] Battery Discharging quickly even when not in use.

Hello Developers.
My Device is Lava XOLO A500.
Everything was fine when I brought it. Its battery life was perfect. But since a week I am experiencing problem with the battery.
Its draining very fast even when not in use. I keep my phone full charged at night and when I see it in the morning I find it fully discharged.
Please Help Me. I really need your help.I am providing the battery usage screenshot below which may help you to understand my problem.
Thank You.
Its hard to say. I take it you're rooted?
If so, install BetterBatteryStats found here, run it and check for any kernel wakelocks or heavy processes. You could also use TricksterMOD to see which CPU frequencies were used the most and whether or not your phone is going into deep sleep.
why don't you go to the svc center and claim the warranty?
it's still a week, isn't it?
cording ccingste
Go to setting > app > running and look for apps at cached processes status and stop most of them.

bro, go to settings > apps > running apps
check which user apps (not system apps) are running like maps, lava/xolo centre or something(any lava/xolo app), browser etc..
now go to > all apps (right towards the running apps) find that apps which u noted running for long time but u not need it run. select it and press Stop > Ok.
these apps restart every time with phone restart. so i suggest you to root your phone and uninstall those unwanted apps.
press thnx if i helped.

What about trying to reset it?
Did you already try to run a full reset on the device? If the problem still occurs I'd think its a problem with the battery it self.
if you are rooted try changing the rom and doing proper wipe in recovery before installing the new rom.

[Q] Battery drain issue on Cyanogenmod 11

Hello guys
I recently installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my Xperia L and I noticed that the battery drains very fast compared to stock. I searched this problem and it appears to be a deep sleep issue, but i don't really found out how to solve it. My battery stats show a great consumption on Google Play services and Display, so I guess it fits the deep sleep problem. I tried disabling some services, but i don't really know which one since i am kinda noob at this.
If anybody could provide a clear and detailed solution, that would be great. Thank you.

Use the greenify app from playstore
I don't think that would solve much. I installed better battery stats and these are the ones causing battery drain:
Awake
Wifi On
Wifi Running
No Data Connection
No or unknown signal
All these have 100% at battery consumption. Greenify only allows me to put to hibernation apps like Facebook, Messenger or so.
So... any other ideas?

[Completed] 100% Awake, Galaxy S5. Better Battery Stats Kernel Wakelocks "File could not be read"

100% Awake, Galaxy S5. Better Battery Stats Kernel Wakelocks "File could not be read"
I've had my Samsung Galaxy S5 for over a year. A while back I updated the OS a couple of times, and now it's on Lollipop (5.1.1). Lately the battery life is very low, although I don't think this started at the same time as the upgrades.
I've tried to use Better Battery Stats to figure out why. It concurs with the Battery control panel that my phone is staying Awake all of the time, never in sleep mode. Most of the time is at the 300MHz cpu speed. Unfortunately when I try to view the Kernel Wakelocks section of BBS, it just says "File could not be read" and presents me no statistics. I was using an old version of BBS, and have just updated to the newest version and this behavior persists.
According to the Battery control panel my top consumers of battery life are Android OS (10-20%), Android System, Bluetooth, Screen, Google Play Services, Cell standby (2-5%), and then a bunch of apps at <5% each..
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
If your device is rooted you can try the Wakelock Detector from playstore to check your wakelocks. There are also apps to control your wakelocks and you can also use the Kernel Auditor app to further manage your device's behavior.
I didn't see a question in your post but you can try posting your issue in the forum linked below.

The experts there may be able to help, good luck.
Thanks, I'll try the s5 help forum

Battery stats is not showing correctly [MIUI 12.1.3]

Hey there,
Hope you are well. When i do Settings - Battery & performance, it is showing last 30 minutes and sometimes 4 minutes. I did some research about this issue on the internet (Reddit, etc.) and many people have this problem. May i ask how can i view the battery stats correctly? I don't want to use 3rd party battery stats app because as i learn they are really draining battery.
Also i see Cell Standby is draining battery because it's usage is %28.4 since 1 day.
May i ask when do you think to fix battery stats issue? We really in trouble with this issue. We really need urgent update about this. Any hel
Stock ROM, MIUI 12.1.3, Global Stable, not rooted

Done.
What you're reporting is battery consumption, isn't related to what the battery stats tool - embedded in Android - reports.
You can dump battery stats with ADB
adb shell dumpsys batterystats

Could you please help me?
