Hello,
I recently bought isudar unit (px5, android 8, 4 GB ram, MTCE_GS_v3.01_3) for my 2011 fiat bravo and there is no vehicle info application. Original navigiation shows information like consumption, trip, etc. so the CAN gives that info to HU.
I found this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...opment/vehicle-apk-reworking-px3-px5-t3893809
and downloaded apks. One of them installed, but its not working (after click app shows and close immediately). Others won't even install.
Anyone had similar issue or can help me with that?
Hello there,
I am using a head unit MOCO, which is 1 GB running on Android 6.0. It is very very slow even when I use very minimal apps. Esp. when I open Google maps, I get irritated with the slowness.
I want to speed up the unit and I have plans to run it for a couple of years. Some people say if I root, it should work fine. Some ask me to update new firmware.
I am not techy and I am not sure what to do. Please help me with some self-explanatory links, so I can speed up the unit.
Also, it says it has Bluetooth 4 but when I connect my phone to the unit for songs, it stammers and it cant play continuously. Please help on this as well.
I factory reset my head unit some pre-installed apps got re-installed but zlink got deleted. I can't reach the seller. I've tried many apk files from this forum, non of them works for me. I need help if I can get back zlink installed. Also, if I can use both android auto and carplay. The seller told me the head unit support both. But zlink I had installed support only carplay. I have attached the version no along with MCU.
I believe head unit would need a different Bluetooth module as most if not nearly all devices don't support the Android wireless zlink.
And for your main problem install a custom rom and you should get the zlink back (wired only for android also remember if the device doesn't work look for another USB port on headunit)

No problem if it's wired, no need to be wireless.
Is there any instructions on how to install custom rom? And how to download rom that works with my head unit?
Search the fourms for you mcu file
Klyde PX4 | PX5 | PX6 head units with MCU CSN2 | CSN2_D | CSN2_8600_D (Android 8/9/10
This thread relates to MCU: CSN2_xxxxx, CSN2_D_xxxxx and CSN2_8600_D_xxxxx for PX4, PX5 and PX6 platforms This thread is a mirror of russian 4pda to cover more users/developers. All units are made by Klyde, but are sold under different brands...
forum.xda-developers.com
First one I found but instructions are on first page
Usually a sd card slot (might have to take display off the head units metal casing )
File usually is renamed to Update.zip
Go to recovery mode
And use the update option.
You would search csn2_D should probably have more roms read to be downloaded

I have tried but when I get to recovery menu I get the error unable to open. I've attached picture. I have tried both names "kupdate.zip" and "update.zip"
-kupdate.zip name will pop an update msg. I press OK and restart into recovery mode with same error in picture
Try another usb plug in?

You may also try to find stock firmware via the tools thread I posted on this fourm
So far what I'm seeing is you need to
Rename file
Update.zip kupdate.zip or update2.zip
The usb or sd card needs to be formated to fat32
You have to use a "main usb" (My device came with two additional usb ports and one for connecting stock my stock one won't work but the included ones will.) My device also has a "hidden sd card reader located behind the screen with all the hardware"
The upgrade might only work for updates (so if 9 roms with 9 or 10 will work, if 10 only roms with 10 will work.)
I'd suggest reading the post #5 with the link I posted.
I cannot confirm if it will work or not
I'd also suggest searching for your device for more info
I've tried some roms which failed to install
I've also tried different usb ports which have failed
It's unfortunate it's a guessing game as there are way to many px4 px5 px6 alternatives

Thank you for these informations. I've managed to install the latest version and MCU. The USB stick wasn't on FAT32, but it's updated now.
Moreover, zlink is not installed with the custom ROM. After the first use, it installed like 7 apps but zlink isn't.

Idk it's a built in app in most mcu roms the apps won't work if installed via 3rd party they always ask for verification
I hope if there is any way to install it back

Yes, purchase a genuine Android audio unit and give up expecting Chinese origin junk will work according to claims, which is NOT Android auto.
Stop using these forums as support for unsupported gear, unless you want to put the effort in to resolve problems

Android Auto works with hundreds of vehicles and aftermarket stereos. Check your compatibility here.

Dude, calm down. My car model is not compatible in the link you provided which I have checked 3 years ago. The dealer couldn't even support me because my car is 2014. Android is supported for 2015+ of my car.
I have bought kenwood stereo that cost a lot and didn't fit without aftermarket frame that looked so cheap and noisy when installed. Nothing fit the original frame except this chinese junk. So either be helpful or stop wasting your and my time.

Just hoping to clarify that zlink link users will forever be wanting updates as google/manufacturer releases updates - resulting in posting here (there are multiple threads in these forums for the same issue).
Perhaps consider headunit reloaded.

maybe you can try activated carplay on system settings. after restart, zlink will appear.
Hi guys, i'm a little confused and between 2 minds on my joying headunit. I've been running the android 10 unit for quite some time now (https://www.joyingauto.com/joying-9...-android-10-0-car-autoradio-ips-1280x720.html) and generally really like the spec, features and responsiveness. However there seems to be a lot of different ways of using it. And i can't quite decide what would be the 'best' way.
1. I can use the unit natively, by installing the apps like waze, spotify, etc directly to the headunits storage and either fitting a 4G data sim
2. I can use the unit natively, by installing the apps like waze, spotify, etc directly to the headunits storage and using my phone as a wifi hotspot and tethering the internet to it to keep everything running natively.
3. I can use Android Auto and mirror my phones apps to the headunit and use it that way.
Just looking for opinions and discussion around how peope are using there's and why? I use mine in configuration 2 above.
As a side note, i'd love to install a custom rom onto the unit rather than use joying's image but can imaging a 100 things would break and that i'd potentially brick the unit by just attempting it. Even their update process seems to be a blog post that says "Here's some links, if you not sure what to use, email us and we'll advise." But i don't trust that i'd get much support with a bricked or dodgy update. Thouhts?
I do 1 and 3 on mine, but with CarPplay.
Reason being: CarPlay nav is more "on the road friendly" in that the UI is designed to be used while moving.
Native functionality is good when I want the unit to do the stuff while I just BlueTooth sound from a different device.
My one issue is that if I have data turned on and enable CarPlay, my phone uses the head unit as a hotspot which isn't ideal.

I believe you mean FYT UIS7862 based unit. Joying is a made up brand.
3. Pseudo Android Auto- reality is it is a hack that will eventually frustrate as google and phone manufacturer release updates. These units are NOT Android Auto.
Re. Custom ROMs. None exist and are not needed.
Hi I am new here and new to this system. Just purchased a 2014 Renault Clio which has a system installed which is not the original that came with the car. I don't have an issue with this but what I want is to be able to use it properly, find out how to install sims in the slots stated on system info. Update it etc etc. Please see attachments for full details of what I am on about.
One more question, where would I find the firmware update for this. And how do I install a sim? or could I purchase wireless adapter?
