Hi everyone, title basically. I tired searching online for a mirror of "MiFlash Unlock Modified" but nothing pops up. I tried using an older version of the unlock tool but nothing. I also tried the XiaoMiTool but to no avail, probably because this phone uses a Snapdragon. Any ideas? Am I missing something here?
UPDATE: Managed to download the MiFlash Unlock Modified but it won't work. After I login, it takes me to the Xiaomi Account Portal and doesn't continue the process.
You have to wait, there is no shortcut without bricking ur device

Hello all, I was stuck in recovery for some time and non of instructions were working for me, so I decide to flash stock rom via Mi Flash Tool.
I downloaded MiFlash20191206 and extract it I downloaded Xiaomi_Mi_Mix_3_V10.2.1.0.PEEMIXM_20190118.0000.00_Global_9.0_XFT ROM and extract it, run Mi Flash, put the phone to fastboot. But when I flashed device I wrongly choose clean_all_lock. So I ended up with a locked bootloader. And when tried to boot MIUI I receive message:
"This MIUI version can't be installed on this device"
So naturally, I tried to unlock bootloader with MiFlash unlock. Downloaded miflash_unlock-en-3.5.1108.44, extract it and run.
Login with my Mi Account and tried to unlock but ended up with the message:
"Please add your account in miui settings -> developer options -> mi unlock status"
Which would be easy to do but as I am not able to boot MIUI I am not able to go to settings.
So did I finally bricked my phone or is there some hope?
I haven't found myself in this predicament (I almost did, but interrupted the flash before it finished to stop the lock). You could try to fastboot the (assuming its a CN device) CN files over the top with it locked. It *should* allow that even if the BL is locked. Then you should be able to boot up, go through the unlock process again. I would see if you can find an older thread where someone did this, or see if you can find one in the Mix2s forums for advice. I know people have had this problem before and been able to fix it.
So in the end I solved it by going to local MiPoint and guys there were able to flash CN rom even with locked bootloader.
I asked them if they have authorized account, but they use some third party software. They did want to tell which, but I get some info that it is paid software and cost around 200 USD and also that they used Miracle xiaomi tool before for this, but now servers are busy and it's not usable anymore.
Any idea what's new software?

Hello everyone, I've recently tried to root my Redmi Note 9 (merlinnfc) The OEM in Dev options is turned on, and the only problem is, there's no way to fix the " FAILED (remote: 'Token verification failed') " error message.
I have everything i need, there's the magisk zip on the phone, and i have the TWRP image for it. ( un-official, there's not official TWRP image for 9+)
Yes, i do have platform-tools, and the vbmeta/vb images in case i accidentally brick my phone.
The only thing i need to do is unlock the boot loader.
Any way's to unlock it? PS: I've tried MiUnlock, my country's unssuported. (It dosen't work. No verification message, turns out my region isn't supported)
I don't trust any "One Click Root" apps, since they're either malware, or unsupported. And they might brick my phone anywyas.
Mi Version: 12..0.5 (Most Recent Security Patch, most likely not any firmware patches, so the fastboot method should work)\
Best Regards - FriendlyChemist
PS: I've tried MiUnlock, my country's unssuported.

I don't understand what you mean by your region is unsupported, care to elaborate?
I recommend trying MI Unlock again, using the latest one might work.
See this post for details.
If it still doesn't work then follow this thread here as stated by the user:
Goodmorning, i succeeded to unlock (appearantly) with Mi Unlock Tool. Don't have to wait 3 days, because i have permission with my Mi account right away. This time.
But i overlooked the simple solution. I put the Mi Unlock Tool in a folder in C:
Before it was still in folder Download with a link to my dashboard. That did not work. In folder in C: it worked immediately.

It should work fine if you have the credentials necessary or waiting for couple of days.
Lastly should anything go awry in the process or you're really desperate you can view this thread. The cable method works better than the test point method.
Hopefully i helped.
You can try to register on miui. Tell them you are developer. You need unlock code. It is not necessary that your country is not supported. You can get unlock code. Some Mi model are ready for unlock.
This week I should receive my first Xiaomi smartphone, but I am already looking into how to unlock the bootloader. Since I am using Linux, the official unlock tool should not work. I came across XiaoMiToolv2, which should work for the Poco X3 Pro with some modifications: https://github.com/francescotescari/XiaoMiToolV2/issues/23#issuecomment-907744264
I wonder if anyone has already tried to unlock their Poco X3 Pro with XiaoMiToolv2. According to the post on GitHub, there is not even a 7-day waiting period. Can anyone confirm this?

I have never used this tool, but that "feature" is weird: the 7 days restriction is server based, the Xiaomi servers that forces that and do the job, the tools that we run are only a local client, interface.
Unless it does something not official, I mean, using some vulnerability, I don't think so.
There's also profissional/authorized Xiaomi accounts that can unlock with no waiting time, but that is not the case.
The project is also semi abandoned. It is probably unsafe to use it.
The guy that make that afaik trial and error to figure out functionalities of the tool and even the stock recovery, then put together that modded tool. You asked a good question, does it work on Poco X3 Pro? Honestly, I doubt anyone can answer you.
Thank you very much for all your comments. Today, my Xiaomi was delivered. Even though it might be unsafe, I tested XiaoMiToolv2. The tool works, but it showed the message "Please unlock 168 hours later. And do not add your account in MIUI again, otherwise, you will wait from scratch". So unfortunately there is a waiting time, but at least the first part works on Linux with Poco X3 Pro (MIUI Global 12.0.4.0).

Yes, I had no problems. The smartphone still works perfectly to this day. Since I only used XiaoMiToolv2 once, I do not remember the exact process. But the official github repository contains some instructions. If you follow the instructions, there should be no issues.
Hi,
After almost 2 years of owning this awesome device, not even once i stumbled upon any rom or root solution for it. Now after all that time being desperate for any development on this device, I come here for an opinion, answer or any idea how to get anything written above on this device.
So, I read some things about GSI roms being able to work on any device without porting and all that. I immediately downloaded the app called Treble Check and it said P30 is supported. So it got me thinking, in THEORY if somehow i got mine P30s bootloader unlocked, or if someone unlocked it before Huawei stopped unlocking bootloader, IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET GSI ROM WORKING, AND HOW?
If it is, is there any, even shady source to get the bootloader unlocked?
Bonus question if all this isn't possible: How to get EMUI 12 Beta Project in Serbia thru Beta app? Carrier locked model. ELE-L29.
Thanks.
I actually tried it, but stopped using it due to problems such as FOD coordinates and Volte.
Also, if you install GSI, your PC will not be able to recognize your device.
The boot loader was unlocked using DC Phoenix and hcu-client.
hey, i have my trusty xiaomi redmi note 6 pro and when trying to unlock the bootloader i get the error 20091 and it just won't let me ,i have downgraded tried with several, flashed the whole rom through fastboot and also with EDL and both of the imes the same issue, i also have tried adding persistent.img (or at least i think it was called) on one of the config files which seems to work for some people but i didn't have luck, if someone can help me with this i will really appreciate it
the phone itself doesn't have mi account lock and it fully works
