Solved!
Firstly, I apologize for basic English, but it is not my first language.
I am desperate and urgently needing help.
I made the mistake of flash the Global rom 10.1.1 in a Chinese ver. and locking the bootloader through MI flash tools.
The result was a Bootloop to recovery.
Already tried:
Re-unlock the bootloader
- I get the message "Wait 30 days to unlock another device".
Install through recovery using Mi Pc suite 3.0 beta.
-With stable version 10.2.2 I receive the message "error install the latest version"
- With version Dev 9.1.14 "error to install the dev version download on the official website"
Finally in EDL mode with Miflash tools ver. 2018
- I get the message that I am not have permissions to flash any of the Roms above.
Can someone please help me, through some unknown process or through authentication my ID 1683581889.
Many thanks in advance.
Short tutorial
1- Start your device in EDL mode "test point" by : https://en.miui.com/thread-5293017-1-1.html .
2- Download TeamViewer 14.x.x, MIFlash tools 2018 and last version of the fastboot Rom "Dev or Stable".
3- get in touch with this guy " https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=5189577 " .
the man is a legend in 3min your device will be restored.

If you flashed the Global rom on the Chinese model phone and locked the bootloader you'll have yourself a nice paper weight
I hope not,
When I did the flash, had the pc connected to a smarttv, due to high resolution the option "clean all and lock" was hidden. which led to screw up.
You need to reflash the stock Chinese firmware with Xiaomi's firmware flashing tool. If you unlocked your device through the official app, it will be able to re-unlock the bootloader to flash it.
It was my first choice. Tried with:
Miflash 3.0/3.x, Miflash pro 3.x, XiaoMiflash, XiaomoABD and always end up with same results " error install the latest version". Maybe i losing something.
With official unlock tool i get message "Wait 30 days to unlock another device".
Maybe because i unlink my account before,
the idea was return to full stock to resell the device.

You can try EDL mode but not sure how that's done on the Mix 3

At this moment, the device is disassembled in the EDL mode.
But when I try to flash a Rom I'm getting the message, that my ID does not have permissions to flash.

Unlinking your account removes your ability to re-unlock your bootloader necause that devices bootloader unlock was tied to your account.

And now because you can't boot phone to connect account to phone it's a paper weight. Not sure what else you can do.
You could try using the standard fastboot from google and running through the scripts provided by Xiaomi to try to flash, even though the BL is locked. You might be able to fix it that way. What I would do is connect the phone, hold down VOL Down + Power til you get Fastboot mode, and then try running through the fastboot lines one at a time in the Xiaomi script.
As others have mentioned, you have created a brick. Whatever you choose to do at this point is up to you, and you certainly could make your situation worse. If you live in a country that Xiaomi supports, you could get the device to a service center and they can almost certainly fix it. I am looking into Qualcomm EDL stuff on this device, and am hopeful that I can find a way to change the hardware origin flags at a hardware level. Nothing concrete yet though.
Edit: for clarity: I'm saying flash a CN STABLE version from fastboot, over the global version.

I Will try.
Status:
Didn't work , lost recovery " system destroyed".
Now i only have fastboot and EDL mode.
I've been talking to the S-unlocked team, and they say they support Mi MIX 3 through EDL mode. The service costs $ 25. Does anyone know someone who provides the same service cheaper?

I have to agree! You can't expect them to do it for nothing. It is a service and it will restore the device that isn't working to working condition. Definitely a bargain!

Sorry, but it's not my point of view, please understand.
So far U-Unlocker was unknown company I'm afraid to spend another 25 $ for nothing.
So far I'm losing $ 500 "device cost" I do not want to waste more money on a device that is device that is destined for resale.

That doesn't make much sense.
If you do nothing you lose $500, phone in current state has no resale value.
If you spend $25 you could potentially get your phone back to a working state with a few hundred value

Maybe the right question was.
Anyone know if they are reliable? It will work? Or someone used the service before for this device.
So, I ****ed up.
TL;DR: My device is locked with no way to unlock it.
Got it today, wanted to flash a ROM. So I install TWRP, all fine. I reset everything, also format, then of course my zip on internal storage is gone too. So I put it on a SD card and reboot the phone to recovery again. But I can't, because after wiping it just shows "system destroyed" or something. So I panic. Then I realize I can flash stock ROM via MI flash tool, do that, install TWRP again. But I still can't flash because the version is too low. So I decide to flash stock again, do an update and try again. But this time I forgot to turn off "clean and lock" in the MI flash tool. So now the bootloader is locked and no stock ROM is installed. So I try to use the MI unlock flash tool, add phone to account, but no, because I didn't sign it at first it won't let me unlock because "your account isn't associated with this device". And now I can't do anything.
Is there anything I can do now apart from this testpoint method? I don't really wanna take the back off, I'm afraid of breaking it. Also the next Xiami store is like 800km from me and I don't wanna send it back cause it already took 2 months here and I paid 60 euros to customs.
I would really appreciate any help you could offer me. Thanks in advance!

1. did u officially unlock bootloader?
2. can u access fastboot?
3. did u remove mi account after unlocking bootloader?
4. But this time I forgot to turn off "clean and lock" in the MI flash tool. So now the bootloader is locked and no stock ROM is installed
did you complete the flash process in MiFlash-Tool? or while flashing u plugged out usb?
If you have selected clean all & lock then your phone have booted to os, i think you locked the bootloader before flashing because bootloader lock command runs after firmware installation is complete

1. The bootloader was already unlocked as I got it.
2. I can boot into fastboot mode
3. I skipped adding it in the first place cause I never really wanted to use the stock software, it's too china for me
4. I flashed after wiping in TWRP, it "completed", as it didn't show completion but the phone rebooted to stock recovery and stayed there, displaying "this MIUI version can't be installed" or something like that.

Ok since you have reached point where only a service centre visit can unlock it, I suggest you use an authorised account! I believe there are people online who accept payment in return for unlocking the bootloader (I have no idea how to find them tho, sorry)
These accounts are rare and are used by service centres to unlock bootloaders and stuff..and which TWRP did you even use? Use Peter's, the official one is **** and doesn't support decryption.

U should buy a deep flash cable or u may make it at home.(search on youtube). Clean flash stock fastboot rom from mi flash in edl (emergency download mode). It will flash successfully. Then set up a mi account ( may be cratate a new one to unlock the bl). Then give try to mi unlock tool.
Note - suggest to buy a deep flash cabel instead for home made.
U may done flashing in edl mode only because bl is locked now.
A year ago i also forget to deselect clean and lock option and locked my bl accidently but i used above method and get success.

Actually while flashing it locks the bootloader after complete installation is done, so might be you first locked the bootloader you can check the script in fastboot rom

My customer have an "indian version"miui on his note7 pro (China version) with unlock bootloader, after a while he flash twrp and flash "HAVOC" OS to it, it's work fine...but few days ago he want to change back to indian stock, he forget to switch the "flash and lock" to flash_all unlock...of cos, it fail and get to recovery show "This miui version can't be installed on this device", I really dunno WTF he is doing this! I try to flash it buy theree method already, EDL is unsuccessful it need an authorize account; Miflash Tool Pro, flash recovery rom it shows " Couldn't verify, looks like current ROM's network carrier type is different from that in the Recovery package..."

how we can unlock phone without test point?
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Hello. first of all you have to remove the back to be able to put the phone in edl mode. then you need to find someone with an account authorized to install a rom stock china for which you will have to pay. I paid $ 15. then you will need to associate the phone with your me account and unlock the bootloader. nothing else works. for a month I lost my nights trying dozens. until I paid everything was in vain. or you have the option of an authorized service, but I am convinced that it will cost you more. success.

If you're able to access to EDL mode, you should be able to flash using QFIL tools instead of MiFlash. Something like this
Want to buy this phone. Need it rooted to do a couple things. Has anybody gotten TWRP and root on it yet?
You can root it by first unlock the bootloader then install magisk via patch boot image method.
How should I get the boot image to actually use that method?
You can download the firmware here: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/foles/official/RETUS/
Inside zips, find boot.img
Does anyone know anything about custom recovery TWRP yet that's what I'm looking for
there is no custom recovery

Does the Verizon one have a greyed out "OEM Bootloader unlock"
Because I bought one off offer up that had the button available but it was purchased from Verizon
Also I asked Motorola for the unlock website an they said they haven't released it yet for Moto z4
Can't say for sure myself, I got the carrier unlocked version. But I believe that button in the options is there no matter what, I remember it on my original Z Force Droid (Verizon only version, no bootloader unlock, official or not).
I would bet that, if it was bought at Verizon, then there won't be a bootloader unlock available - ever.
Dunno what that last part is supposed to mean... Never saw a device-specific Moto Bootloader Unlock page, going all the way back to the original Moto X. There's the page explaining the unlock process, a disclaimer ("anything you do from here isn't our fault, or responsibility to fix" basically), and a link to the next step (with a "log in to Moto" in between). After login, it brings you to instructions to get a code to put in, and the button to check if the device is eligible for unlocking the bootloader.
I would include a link to the first page if I could. Almost there, just one more post...

All other phones, if the button is not greyed out and you can press the option (and it asked for your password) then it's unlockable. I know because I got a few freaking pixel phones with non usable Bootloader. Wasted about $1,000 looking for a cellphone to use with Sprint that I can root. Every one of them is Verizon.

DM Verity disabled too?
What about DM verity? Has anyone figured out how to disable that? I need to add a couple of lines to the build.prop file, but can't seem to change the write permissions even with root; any edits made directly on the phone using an editor with root permissions, don't persist after a system reboot. Edits made to the build.prop file externally, and pushed pre-boot via ADB, result in boot loop due to DM verity failing.
(For clarity, I do not have this phone, yet, I have a Z2 Play, but I faced these challenges with that device too)

Could I get a little guidance on how to patch and flash the boot image? I have ADB/Fastboot setup as well as the XT1980-4 firmware downloaded.
Do I just place the boot.img file on my phone, patch it in Magisk Manager, and flash with fastboot? Anything I need to be careful of?
Also, how should I go about backups here? I've only messed with this stuff when I had a Galaxy S4, everything was super simple with easy bootloader unlock and custom recovery.

What you said was correct. That's how you patch and flash. Nothing particular to be careful. The only thing would be in order to receive future OTA, you should not modify you /system and /vendor partition during your use of the phone.

Dug a little deeper and bootloader is locked tight, no flashing for me. Returning and buying a secondhand LG V30 for cheap. It's unfortunate that carriers love their walled gardens.
See, this is why I was asking about DM Verity. You need to disable that first before flashing anything via ADB/Fastboot.
With DM Verity on, at system startup, the device generates a hash of the /system and /root directories. If the hash does not match the one from the factory, due to changes pushed via ADB or Fastboot or patching other system files with something different, the system reboots, again and again.
I had this same issue with my Z2 Play, which is why I brought it up here.
Rooting these devices is useless, unless you also disable DM Verity.
I tried to follow this method and ended up flashing the wrong boot image (I did go to the right software variant but it was outdated) so i had to go through and try all the images they had and none of them worked so i had to look elsewhere.
After some digging i found a VERY handy tool made by lenovo themselves that lets you update and recover the firmware.
If you use the rescue option and enter your phones info (it seems to verify your phones info so you can only download for devices you have) and it'll download the latest zip for you so you can get the boot image.
Here's the link to the smart assistant
TL;DR Open smart assistant, click flash, click "Go rescue", Click "Moto Phone", enter your phone's info (make sure your phone is connected in fastboot mode), click the download icon next to the file name.
Make sure you DO NOT click the rescue button when the download is finished as that will factory reset your phone, just copy the zip or boot image and close it
So you got the Edge S and want GApps? Basically you unlock your bootloader, root with Magisk, then install MagiskGApps.
DISCLAIMER: UNLOCKING YOUR BOOTLOADER MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY, AND DOING ALL THESE THINGS IN THIS GUIDE MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE/BRICKING YOUR PHONE. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING YOU DO TO YOUR PHONE. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
1. Unlock the bootloader: that should be doable with their global bootloader unlock website here.
2. Download Lenovo Motoroa Smart Assistant (Rescue and Smart Assistant), and follow its instructions to "rescue" your device. It will lead you to boot into bootloader mode and download the firmware. Find the firmware file via the LMSA's downloads (should have a "show folder" button). You'll need the boot.img file for Magisk.
3. Download Magisk, then follow its instructions. You'll have to copy the boot.img to your device, then use Magisk to patch the boot file, then copy the modified one to your PC.
4. You'll need fastboot. If you don't have it already, you can download the Android SDK platform tools here. Then go into the folder, Shift+Right Click the folder, then "Open Command Prompt" or "Open PowerShell," you should have something close to one of those two. Copy your Magisk modified .img file to that folder, then you'll want to input:
fastboot flash boot [modified .img file]
Once that completes, you should see in large text, "Start" on your phone next to the power button. Press the power button, and it should boot, and you should have root now.
5. Download MagiskGApps to your phone, open Magisk on your phone, click the button that looks like a puzzle piece at the bottom of the screen, "Modules." Click "Install from storage," locate the MagiskGApps file, and install it. After that it will ask you to restart your phone, do that, then you'll just have to be patient as it takes time once its restarted to load everything. You also may need to update some or all of the apps, then you should be able to use the notification to finish setting up the phone with Google Setup.
Thanks to Motorola for making it easy to unlock their bootloaders
Thanks to the whole Magisk team for making an easy, awesome root (and more!)
Thanks to Wacko1805 (and team?) for making MagiskGApps. This is really awesome.

Magisk has a "Magisk Hide" which will allow it to pass SafetyNet, and most things which check on device security will think the device is secure. But unlocking BL and rooting does make the device less secure, and therefore incurs its own risks apart from bricking or damaging the device.

Google Pay works. But according to the Motorola website you should be able to relock the bootloader if yours doesn't work. But there's never any guarantee. If you need your device secure, recommend don't unlock bl or root, or wait to see if there's a root option without bootloader unlock that can be easily undone.

I saw that someone’s edge s had unlocked the BL and Flash G100 firmware and everything worked normally, and then tried to lock the BL again, but it was unsuccessful and the system could not start. The flashing tool does not recognize the machine.

That's not good. Hopefully they can restore it back somehow. With this guide to unlock and flash gapps why would you need to flash G100 though? This seems to be itright now without one of rom developer's releases to get root & apps. For me this is all i would look for. Titanium backup on it and restore.. done until PE rom comes out.

I would think yes, if you flash different firmware, locking the BL would likely cause problems. It's very difficult to do anything w/o unlocked bootloader, except sometimes rooting is doable. That's pretty much the behavior I expect. If they come to this subforum, we might be able to help.

thank you. They did not ask for help. It seems that the lock BL is a self-verification switch, and then performs a verification system integrity.

I'm curious,If you unlock and flash other firmware and then flash back to the original firmware, can it be locked again?
Mine doesn't let me unlock its BL. I've got unlock code from moto and did a factory reset with SIM card in slot 1. After enabling developer mode and debugging the switch still is greyed out. So no chance to unlock it.
Has anyone got an idea what to try now?
Moto support answered yesterday to my request but also no solution since I told them that it doesn't work
Device is not branded. I got it from Amazon so no provider branding.
If this won't be able to be unlocked and rooted I'll have to return it and switch to a Google Pixel.

I had the same issue, you need to factory reset WITH your sim card in the phone, this will let you open the OEM unlock slide thing in the dev mode.
Then once its done you can fastboot and unlock the bootloader.
I did so, maybe I explained not so well. SIM was inserted and then I did factory reset by starting it from settings. After restart it's still the same - switch / unlock slider greyed out.

On my OG Pixel XL, I had to wait 7 days for the slider to become normal. By the time I got around to do it on the Edge S it was about the same time.... could be related
Now as you said that I remember that thingy with another device. Maybe a Xiaomi I think... With that I had to wait several days until the unlock code was delivered.
But there was a message, too, when trying to get it sooner, which said you needed to wait some more time.
Not sure if it's the the same for Moto devices? Then again, when thinking that you experienced the same with a Pixel, too...
Did anyone else make such an experience with his/her g100?

Make sure your on the latest OTA, Lenovo made a mistake on previous versions with the OEM Unlocking function not being enabled. They fixed it in latest ota.
RSA tool said the file I uploaded yesterday is the latest one available (and it's exactly the same as the installed version).
The device was released just a few days ago in Europe. Perhaps they fixed the unlock switch in other regions and still need to fix it in Europe..
Will wait until weekend if they come up with a solution. If not I'm afraid I have to return the device as I need it personally AND professionally, too - I'm field agent, so.... :/

I would assume so, but I don't really know why anyone would want to relock.
I just wanna learn how to begin the rooting don't know what driver how to get a sdk what app nothing?
I'm looking at the A13 as well since the GS5 is now blocked by AT&T.
I just spoke to Samsung, and they told me the A13 G5 unlocked version purchased directly from them comes with an unlocked bootloader.
I think I just wet myself.

I don't think there's any yet, it's only been on the market for a few months. Aside from it's size it's pretty nice, I've had it 2 weeks and love the battery life.

I will be working on mine purchased from Metro PCS. Its OEM bootloader is locked at the moment. I will be using Magisk and flashing a TWRP. Utilizing an ADB wireless USB connection from PC. I will keep you posted if someone else doesnt beat me too it. Either way this thread is going so im sure together we can knock this out. Im going to do my LG Stylo 4 firsy. Its OEM came unlocked from Metro PCS...so i scored. Just havent had time. I just did my ZTE ZMax Pro Z981 from Metro PCS...it also was unlocked OEM. They will all need a PC usb connection and Magisck. You can find them in threads here. Good luck. Will post again when i get time. Hope this helps a little. Here you might not get an answer you want...but if you dig youll find what youre looking for...just got learn by doing...like they said...always backup... everything...first...dont forget to remove sd before you factory reset or you will wipe it. And your phone. If youre not sure...dont change things you dont know...you will brick your phone. Follow directions you find in threads...and you will be fine. I learned how to be a great chef from other chefs who told me the ingredients but never amounts of ingredients. Thats how you become a great chef and also become great developer...good luck guys. Im learning too. Share what you learn. FYI...the one click....dont bother...IJS...PC you will need for this....

How do you plan on flashing those if the bootloader is locked.....?
Sorry to break it to you, but it's a Samsung thing. It doesn't matter if it's a device from a carrier or carrier-free directly from Samsung, if you buy a U.S. Samsung phone you will not unlock bootloader freely.

Just bought this but the 5G version
Hi, I just rooted my Samsung Galaxy A13. Here's a quick tutorial of what worked for me:
Prerequisites:
Install Heimdall onto your computer. I used Manjaro Linux as my OS, and haven't tested anything else. Install any drivers if necessary.
Install Magisk onto your phone. I recommend using the F-Droid store/app, or Magisk's GitHub page.
Steps
Install any updates for your phone.
Unlock Bootloader
First of all you need to unlock the bootloader:
Enable Developer Mode by navigating: Settings > About Phone > Software information.
Tap Build number about 7 or 8 times until it says You're now a developer.
Allowing the bootloader to be unlocked:
Settings > Developer Options > Enable OEM unlocking.
Allow it to be enabled if prompted.
Turn off your device.
Turn on Download Mode by holding down Volume Up and Volume Down.
When you see a blue screen, hold Volume Up until it shows Unlock Bootloader screen.
Press Volume Up to confirm.
Flashing firmware
https://samfw.com/ is a good resource for downloading firmware. Be careful that you're downloading the correct firmware though. You can find information by navigating on your phone:
Settings > About Phone, and Settings > About Phone > Software information. If you call *#1234# it will show you the current firmware.
Extract the archive.
Extract the file staring with AP.
Extract the file boot.img.IZ4.
Move boot.img onto your phone.
Open Magisk. Click install. Locate and patch the file. Move the file back onto your computers.
Extract the file starting with CSC. Locate the pit file.
Open Heimdall.
Choose the pit file and the patched boot image.
Put your phone in Download Mode and connect via USB.
Flash your phone.
If it worked successfully, your phone will reboot. It will probably throw an error before starting. Choose to do a factory reset. This will delete all the user data, but the patched boot file will stay in place.
Download Magisk again. Follow the prompts.
To test if you have super user access, install Termux from the F-Droid store. type su into the terminal. You will get a pop up asking if you want to give super user permissions.
Congratulations! You're now the UNIX sysadmin of your own phone!
hello Everyone, a friend of mine from America bought an A13 5G, now we are in Europe and the phone is blocked.
exactly inserting a European sim says:
Phone locked. Please contact our customer service center to unlock your phone.
i tried to unlocked bootloader, but unfortunately i don't have OEM unlock present, no way i get it out!
there is a complicated procedure with Flashing a Combination Firmware, but it looks difficult!!! I haven't done it yet.
but would it be possible to only unlock the phone to use European sims?
many thanks

Unlocking the bootloader would not do anything for you in regards to network unlocking. Those are 2 totally separate and distinct procedures.
What's the Baseband Version on the device? You can find that under Settings-->About-->Software Information (and don't do any software updates to the device if it prompts you to)
Hello, the first thing would be to unlock the bootloader which is very easy in Samsung terminals, In all Samsung is the same, you can see the following video that I recommend. No PC needed, The video is in Spanish but it is only to follow the same steps:
The second thing would be to get root, the easiest would be with Magisk, I recommend you watch this video since it is not necessary to format the cell phone, the video is also in Spanish, but you still follow the same steps. In this case, a PC is necessary:
Soon I will make a post myself, teaching you how to root without losing data, the same way as in the video, in case you didn't understand the video.
There is no boot.img.IZ4 im my ap file
ok i found the boot.img I extracted the ap file with winrar before. some how it does not see the .img files but untarring on linux worked. i managed to re flash the ap fille with odin and i saw lot of .img files being flashed and the extracted foldersize by winrar was way smaler than the archive. so that made me look at the ap file and i got the boot.img patched by magisk and made an lz4 file out of it how do i get that boot.img.lz4 back in the archive?
also whats wrong with fast boot?
"fastboot devices" lists my device when its connected but like many here post it does not work with other commands it failes like thIs :
fastboot flash bootloader b.img
Sending 'bootloader' (32768 KB) FAILED (remote: 'unknown command')
fastboot: error: Command failed
Tried other examples too but nothing works tried the fastboot included in android studio and one of the minimal adb/fastboot. the boot loader is unlocked (Not using fastboot) and odin works fine. my phone is in the "entertering fastboor mode" state .its a samsung galaxy a13 g5 and i flashed this firmware using odin
AP_A136BXXS2BWA1_A136BXXS2BWA1_MQB61124574_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_OS13 now its stock again with no accounts.
fastboot reboot does work so some is right.
fastboot reboot
Rebooting OKAY [ 0.001s]
Finished. Total time: 0.005s
i hope some one can point me in the right direction.
thx

Fastboot isn't functional on Samsung devices. Samsung replaces it with Download mode. Therefore, all flashing is done via Download mode using Odin, not via fastboot mode using command terminal
