Question Double tap to wake, vs 1 tap - Google Pixel 7 Pro

Is there any option to have a double tap to wake instead of a single tap? Way to easy to wake the phone when I don't want to.

such a shame that Google cannot implement all this features into stock Android.
also, Google if you read it, include root access switch into stock Android !!

Thanks. I will give this some thought. I was hoping not to have to root the phone. I'll have to decide how important this is.

This was turned on for me I just turned off now to see how it is

Ye it didn't wake up lol

I think the question was about tapping the screen not the back. OP can try a custom rom that has it, no need to root for that.

this app is available on play store, and i dont like it cuz it a little bit lag
I've googled a few different queries and even checked an old thread about this app on this site but can't find an answer, so here goes.
I'm using an unmodified HTC Desire S and sometimes the app will just 'wake' my lockscreen without me doing anything. I can see this being an issue with battery life. One of the old threads did mention this problem but didn't give any insight on how to fix it, they just said "it has been fixed in later versions", and it clearly hasn't.
Thanks for reading.
edit: welp, didn't realise this wasn't in the general forums.

cyanogenmod options

Is there a way to get cyanogenmod options like having the extra settings options or swiping in the right corner to bring up quick settings screen instead of notifications without installing the cyanogenmod rom?

Not yet. You'll have to wait for CM11 nightlies or start working on your own.
I would perfer to keep the stock rom, I just want the extra menus and options like that.

[Q] Best standard 5.0 Rom?

HI everybody,
Apologies for the thread which might seem like I should have just searched... but I have spent hours reading through the development forum and I am non-the-wiser.
I have just come from a nexus 5, where I absolutely love lollipop. I am after a ROM that is very similar to the native nexus lollipop experience. I don't mind the odd customisation like more options on the power menu etc, or options that are at least not enabled by default, but CM has always been over the top and too complex for me.
Which ROM should I go for? The dev forum looks like a minefield!
Thanks
There's no such thing as a best ROM. The closest you're gonna get to a Nexus-like experience is the OnePlus aosp ROM, but I wouldn't suggest actually flashing that because it causes nothing but problems. Just try the official stock CM12 builds that have just come out.

CM is the least "custom option heavy" Roms you will find I think. Most of the rest add more customizations that are often very helpful.
I'm currently running temasek unofficial cm12 latest version. It's got extra features but your choice to use them or not. I don't make use of all of them either (like the gesture anywhere thing, or the circular app bar when you touch the right/left most side of the phone) but things like center clock mod are awesome to change the look of your phone. And quick pulldown.
I'll attach screen shots to show.
It also has a sick dark theme

Question navbar button binding?

would like to assign apps to the buttons like longpress home for camera or longpress back for screenshot. is this possible? magisk?
also is there a way to make the torch turn on with the screen off by pressing the power button? im coming from oneplus 9 pro and it had all this. would be nice to have it again on the ultra. thanks;
There is button remapping available, some for stock Samsung's I believe. Example. Do some Google searches include xda to pull up results from here.
For display on use One Handed Operation plus from the Galaxy store. One of my favorite apps.
Very versatile. Almost no battery usage.

Question How to hide blank space in OneUI?

In all built-in apps of OneUI, almost the entire top half is blank to enable easy one-handed use. While the idea is good, the implementation could have been better. There should have been a setting to choose how user wants the default view to look like.
Unfortunately, no Goodlock module currently allows for changing this view yet.
Is there a way to hide the blank space in OneUI?
For example:
Current Default view
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Preferred Default view
Is there a way change the default view of built-in apps?
Maybe with root it would be possible but you would have to edit the settings apk etc.
I would love to remove it also such a waste of space.

Don't think that would work.
Is there a way to send feedback to the Goodlock team?

From within good lock app there's contact us link which takes to Samsung members app
I used GoodLock > RegiStar to hide the Samsung Account menu and there's no blank spot.
For me i like this feature to use the device in one hand
