Hi @nancymary101
There is a case and a screen protector for the Google Pixel 7A on the official Google Store website. Although I'm not sure whether they are good quality, but they are the official ones.

Why are they super expensive? 30$ is a bit too much for a Scratch Guard and a Case that's so simple looking. I doubt if the case gives enough protection too. Surely, there are better options no?

I have the official google coral case for mine, it ok, but I like a thin fit case like Pitka or amarid fiber ones, LaterCase has some really nice ones, I`ll probably order the willy blue Later case. also I`m using the below Screen protector and works great.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNN9HGQF?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I went for a very minimalist non-bulk approach for scratch and minimal drop protect. Happy with the fit/feel of both.
Case: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C165LLMR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Screen Protector: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2BLFD58?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I got the same Caseology Parallax case for the 7a as I'd had on my 6a (different color though). While at it, I ordered their screen protector as well. It comes with a mounting fixture that made applying it without bubbles vary easy and accurate.

Ive upgraded to the Pixel 7a and I went with the Clear Scratch Protector from Gadgetshieldz. Ive covered my entire device including the Screen, Back, Camera Module, Sides, Top and Bottom. I feel much more safer after covering all parts of my device with their Protector.
Edit - Adding a snap of my device looking all Glossy

You can check few more before actually purchasing this one. There are good ones from Spigen, Rhinoshield and dbrand for the 7a.

Thats why you dont get the 10pcs ones nor should you get the 4pcs ones. Most of them from amazon are pretty bad, either the touch doesnt work right or the adhesive wouldnt be of good quality or bubbles or durability issue. Always go for some trusted brands that have an own website who are focused on making such products. Brands like these focus more on the quality rather than the quantity which is exactly what we want from products we buy.
There are multiple options out there like Rhinoshield, Spigen, etc but they seem to be really expensive.
I went with a more affordable option from Gadgetshieldz since Ive been using them in the past too and they never failed to satisfy me. Moreover, they are affordable which makes it even more better cause you wont be worried with their quality either.

There doesn't seem to be a normal TPU Case for the Pixel C

For most phones and tablets it's pretty easy to find decent cases, iPhone and iPad Users are spoilt for choice, Samsung useres can also pick and choose how they like, even for the Nexus 5X and 6P one can find an abundance of cases in any color shape or form. But not for the Pixel C - doubtless this is because of the slender market for this tablet. I have been looking all over the net for a simple TPU case for the Pixel C, you know the type of silicone case that just covers the back of the device but not the screen. All I could find was universal folio cases or smart cases with a lid. I even tried my luck on searching Chinese wholesale but no luck. If anyone has come across a simple back cover only TPU or hard shell case that only covers the back please let me know.
Thanks so much.

I also want a TPU case and haven't found anything anywhere - ebay, amazon, vendor sites
This is exactly what I'm looking for as well. All I can find are folios. :/

yep. this. i want the rubber bumper case type cover because the back of the device is so slick that it tends to want to slide off my lap. also, it would be nice to have something to soften the bezel edge because it can dig into your hands if you're holding it for a long time.
Totally agree. There seems to be a Chinese design for a bumper case, however it doesn't seem possible to order it at the moment. Anyone else had any luck finding one ?

I already contacted them, the description is wrong. They sell "normal" pu leather folios, some are bundled with headphones or screen protectors. They removed the product i mentioned in my request but all other bundles are still listed with the wrong description.
what a freakin' tease. i would have loved to have had that clear tpu case.
All products mentioned are found on US Amazon.com
So far the only TPU case I have seen that's for Pixel C <--- does NOT fit Pixel C as customer lefted a photo review on the product he received.
http://www.amazon.com/Junsi-Leather-Headphone-Google-Tablet/dp/B01CQTFSKO
I do not have it in my possession to test the fitment yet, just wanna get the words out with others that's looking for one.
(granted the demo photos doesn't show pixel C in it, but some other products. Just hope these China vendors get the fitment right.)
Other interesting alternatives I have seen so far is the full body coverage skin
http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi%C2%AE-TechSkin-Protector-Replacement-Anti-Bubble/dp/B017L0UKOW
Personally I'm currently using Moko's folio cover as the additional thickness it added is still deem acceptable to me and does the job.

That's exactly my concern also. At most it'll just prevent scratches on the original metal body, wouldn't prevent / provide enough protection from possible little bumps / drops during daily uses.

Exactly, a Skin is not enough, a Folio Case will protect the Pixel C allround but I really dislike the front Display flap. Very annoying. I opted for buying the skinomi techskin combined with this http://www.amazon.com/Booncover-Uni...=UTF8&qid=1463390156&sr=8-2&keywords=Reboon+l
This is expensive though. Would have much prefered a simple bumper case. Grrr.
Negative on the potential TPU case I shared the other day.
A customer that got the product, left a photo review saying it aren't the right fitment.........

This is frustrated, I can't find no bumper case for this device.
i thought about trying to find a similar shaped tablet and using a tpu case for it and i would just make my own camera/speaker holes. not the prettiest solution but i think it would get the job done. the closest thing i could find to the pixels dimensions was the galaxy tab 10.1. so i'm thinking about picking up this case:

Let u s know how well it fits. Thank you and all the Best
I ordered a cheap chinese tpu case for a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 but it does not fit.
The corners of the Samsung device are rounder than the pixel c. Height and width are ok.
I had to remove the corners of the case, now the tablet fits, but the corners are needed to give the case stability and keep it around the tablet.
Without the corners the case slips down of the tablet easily. I hoped it would fit but without the stability it is useless for me...

Screen Protector?

So I'm under the impression that the glass panel that covers the LCD is not made of gorilla glass, meaning it would (in theory) scratch relatively easily. This almost certainly necessitates a screen protector, then.
However, I'm only able to find tempered glass protectors (which would be a great added bit of protection) atm, and I hate them because of the dreaded "halo effect" that totally defeats the purpose of the bezel-less display. I've been a fan of the "helicopter-polymer" screen protectors, as once they're stuck, they're stuck; however, I'm unable to find any of those.
I snagged some of the cheapo "transparent-film" protectors (only redeeming part is they give you like 6 in a pack), hoping that I'll be able to get those to stick all the way down around the edges.
Anybody found a screen protector they like?
watch the youtube video where the scratch test is performed. it is near impossible to scratch the screen. i can't see any reason to use a screen protector on this phone given that the scratch test performed as well or better than any other flagship device
edit here it is

I have the mi mix pro version and using this glass screen protector. http://www.ebay.com/itm/142182915322
Perfect fit but has the rainbow effect on the middle of the screen. It looks like it disappears as time goes on though. It's edge to edge no halo.

Hardness test proved the ceramic is an 8, and the glass screen is a 6 (supposedly on par with most other flagship devices, even though there's supposedly no gorilla glass. I've been using it as my every day for about 2 weeks now, and the screen is pristine. I would like a film protector, but if it interferes with the otherwise gorgeous display, I may just run naked.
The case on the other hand is, in my opinion an absolute must. I like the one that came with it, and it seems like it would be pretty protective. I have no intention of accidentally dropping my cherished device (nor testing to see, even though it's insured), but it seems like minor drops might actually be handled quite well by the OEM case.

Skin for the Xiaomi Mi Mix?

Anyone just using a skin on the back of the phone? If so which one?
Dont like using a case. But its slippery without it.
Anyone used grip tape on their phone?
I tried using the back protector (which comes with screen protectors) and was nice. But dont use anything anymore.
I did ask dbrand if they will make some skins, they said it's not a definite no, they are still gathering input, which apparently is just large enough to keep considering.
They will only make Mix skins if they get enough requests, so I guess it'd make sense for all of us to place requests on their website.
If you reside in the US, you can check out "Decalrus" on amazon. Designs are in the hundreds. 5 bucks i think. Comes with front skin for bottom bezel. Their homepage has a creator for custom skins also, but the mix is not listed there or anywhere on their page. They seem to have messed up with their layers when creating the illustration images. Screen has sony icons, and back skin has the selfie camera too. I would roll the dice on one if I could.

Even I had enquired with dbrand and they replied that this isnt happening.
Seems there isnt sufficient demand for them to allocate their time and resources for the Mix.
I highly doubt that we will see a skin from dbrand as the Mix is still very much a "concept device". It doesn't look like there are many (a considerable number) people, who have the device.
Its just a few of us here and maybe a few in China. And then a few more who don't generally post on forums. So not a big number
I wonder where all the 10000 units manufactured per month are going to.

Mi Mix Full coverage Wood pattern skin
Check this out! These are the only skins I could find at the moment. Like any skin, It would only offer protection from scratches though. Its made of dirt resistant PVC, and is advertised to have a real wood-like texture.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/182256599373?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Bought this, shipping took forever but it's pretty decent quality. Cutouts for camera, flash, and fingerprint sensor are accurate and it's textured for some grip. Application is fairly easy. The seller shipped 3 I'm thinking of buying a dbrand skin for a tablet and cutting it using one of these as a template to see how that goes. Not that there's anything wrong with this one but just because nothing can compete with dbrand when it comes to skins.
Guys I have just ordered from on AliExpress a carbon fiber skin. This is LITERALLY the only thing available on the whole website.
Can't post link because I am new, I can send PM if interested.
I hate carbon fiber feeling and I won't be covering the back of the phone. The only reason I bought this is because it's the only item that has sticker pieces that attach to the SIDE of the phone that will provide, at least technically, some more grip.
As soon as it will arrive I'll give feedback.
elialitem pls send me the link to that skin
I I'm new too and I don't know how to use the pm /:

Hey I found an alternate solution for the slipperyness of this phone.
There is a product you can buy that puts a thin layer of protective glass over the entire smartphone.
This glass gives the phone a better more solid feel and is much more grippy.
They go for quite cheap too on eBay just a couple dollars.

Does it helps for better grip?
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Hello,
I got today the carbon fiber dbrand-style skin from Aliexpress.
Here are the pictures: 1 2 3 4 5
As you can see, the sides parts of the skin were cut short which make this extremely not pretty to look at. However, grip of the phone increased dramatically.
It does not feel like a dbrand skin, it does feel it's just a sticker, however the fake carbon fiber does give a lot of grip. The sides of the sticker as well are very sharp which improve even more grip, but makes me wonder about durability of this sticker. Being so sharp means dust can easily get underneat it.
Probably worth the 3 euros that it costs, not more.

Which original case to buy?

I wonder which original case from Oneplus will be the best for Oneplus 6?
I never had Oneplus phone and I don't know this cases.
Could You explain me difference between Bumber Case and Protective Case?
I think about carbon. I would like to choose case that will the best protector for my phone. This is the most important for me. I consider only original cases. I will buy original screen protector too.
From specification I see that Bumber Case is heavier 25g vs 11g. So I think that will be better
I've owned both the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 5. In my experience, the bumpers are no more then just fancy shells for the phone that don't exactly feel like the offer that much protection to the phone, and I ended up buying Tudia full body cases for both phones. If you want a OnePlus case though, go with the Silicone one - had that for my OP5 and I loved it honestly. However, I feel that OnePlus cases are more crafted for their style than they are for the protection they offer (which is quite depressing, as the Sandstone cases felt so nice to hold in your hand), so you might want to consider looking elsewhere for a case.
As for screen protectors, the tempered glass ones by OnePlus themselves are usually the best, but a lot of cases don't work with them (including the Otter Box case offered by OnePlus). Third party TGSPs are cheaper, but they aren't 3D and often let dust slip in underneath. I ended up slapping a OnePlus TGSP onto my OP3 and then adding a Tudia full body case with a built in screen protector, and that thing survived so much abuse (and is still kicking actually).
I actually had the Carbon case with a OP tempered glass screen protector on my OP5, and the case did nothing to absorb the impact from a fall at work and shattered the glass. The case was nothing more than a hard plastic shell honestly.
But that's just my two cents
I'm gonna wait for third parties first. Till then a poach is the way for me.

I wonder which original case from Oneplus will be the best for Oneplus 6?

Get the OnePlus carbon bumper, top quality made by EVUTEC. The bumper case protects more. The normal case does not protect the top, bottom and buttons that well.

Thank you for your wide useful opinion.
Do somebody know will be spigen neo hybrid for Oneplus 6?
I used this case for note 3 and was great as a protective case.
Saved few times my phone.
I think I will buy original case during buying phone because free shipping is from 100 euro so it's better to buy with phone.
But if spigen will be good I will buy too
Would love to get the iron man case from the avengers edition

Looks like the 3rd parties have already gotten started! Just had a look now for mine, and seems like Orzly already have a few up on amazon.
Some are on pre-order but others seem to already be in stock already. (unbelievable how quick some of these 3rd parties are getting organized these days).
The phone's barely been announced!
Anyways, here are the ones I've found from them:
Their version of the silicone (I think they call theirs a FlexiCase)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3Y8WPP/&keywords=OnePlus+6+case
Their version of the bumper (they call theirs a Fusion Bumper as it has a clear back so you can see the phone whilst still having the decent protective rim in an actual color)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4MDMD1/&keywords=OnePlus+6+case
The Wallet Case (this is the type that I normally get, so I can use the built in stand for watching videos on my phone)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3Y246N/&keywords=OnePlus+6+wallet+case
The Lux Case (this style I've not seen before).. Looks like it does the credit card storage thing, but is more of a leather back than the full wallet. (I kinda never use the credit card storage anyway, so it's like they removed the bit I actually use (ie the stand), but kept the bit I don't use (the credit card bit!) haha. Would probably be useful for carrying rail cards though.

I normally get my glass screen protectors from them, as they're usually a better fit for the OnePlus phones, but I can't seem to find them yet. But if anybody spots them, let me know.
Like Orzly bumper one. so far looks best solution as I don't see transparent original case yet.
Am Gonna pre-order that case and be happy

You might as well go for a OnePlus case if you're grabbing the phone anyway. You can usually get it cheaper I'd you buy it bundled with a screen protector or something, too.
Spigen typically does make cases for OnePlus devices, but if I remember correctly, they took *forever* to release one for the OnePlus 5. I don't remember seeing one for sale until at least six months after the OP5 launched.
I like the looks of nylon case, and expect it to feel great in hand , if I go by reviews. It also offers decent protection and is the most unique OnePlus case this year IMO

It looks like they actually offer some decent protection this year too — they cover all edges of the phone, whereas previous cases tended to leave the top and bottom edges exposed.

Yeah, I plan to widen my support this year to at least two devices with Qualcomm.
HTC u12+ and oneplus 6 are the chosen ones to mess with some kernel stuff as usual

Both very interesting devices. I will either get:
Oneplus 6 or 6T
HTC U12+
Essential Phone 2
It will be interesting. Currently leaning towards Oneplus 6.

I suspect they will, they've supported most OP devices recently!

I agree the nylon case is stunning. But don't forget to factor in it is PC+TPU case while the Carbon Fiber is only a TPU case. But because of this, the Nylon case is 58.5% thinker and 28% heavier than the Carbon Fiber one. Now we are talking about millimeters and grams, so they aren't going to be drastically different, but it swayed me.
Nylon. It has a soft touch lining and that rugged shell - also full coverage. Looks nice too.
I got my 6 a day early and also got the nylon case. Very, very cool.
I ordered carbon Bumber Case. I think carbon will be better, more durable material thank nylon one.
In case of drop for example

To anybody who got the nylon case, how is it?
Is it really thick and bulky, or do you think it's nice? I don't want something like those old OtterBox cases that everybody had which would turn a phone into a brick haha

Clear Skins for Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Have used their skins in the past but haven't tried their screen protector yet so small review about product and some pictures might help.
Thanks for that, I think I will give it a try

That's a nice screen protector you have, neat and slick looking way, doesn't seemed to obvious of having it in there in my opinion. What are your reviews with it? I am interested on what you have on that picture you posted. Does it attract any fingerprints and is it that dry feeling kind of screen protector?
The skin looks nice but since the front and back of the phone are glass i cannot see it providing any impact protection when dropped.
Use third-party
You can use fusion x back cover its parfect for rn8pro
