There doesn't seem to be a normal TPU Case for the Pixel C - Pixel C Accessories

For most phones and tablets it's pretty easy to find decent cases, iPhone and iPad Users are spoilt for choice, Samsung useres can also pick and choose how they like, even for the Nexus 5X and 6P one can find an abundance of cases in any color shape or form. But not for the Pixel C - doubtless this is because of the slender market for this tablet. I have been looking all over the net for a simple TPU case for the Pixel C, you know the type of silicone case that just covers the back of the device but not the screen. All I could find was universal folio cases or smart cases with a lid. I even tried my luck on searching Chinese wholesale but no luck. If anyone has come across a simple back cover only TPU or hard shell case that only covers the back please let me know.
Thanks so much.

I also want a TPU case and haven't found anything anywhere - ebay, amazon, vendor sites

This is exactly what I'm looking for as well. All I can find are folios. :/

yep. this. i want the rubber bumper case type cover because the back of the device is so slick that it tends to want to slide off my lap. also, it would be nice to have something to soften the bezel edge because it can dig into your hands if you're holding it for a long time.

Totally agree. There seems to be a Chinese design for a bumper case, however it doesn't seem possible to order it at the moment. Anyone else had any luck finding one ?

Potentially
Came across this guy that might fit the bill:

No reviews and takes forever to ship. If it were cheaper I'd definitely take the jump, but I'm a bit skeptical...

I already contacted them, the description is wrong. They sell "normal" pu leather folios, some are bundled with headphones or screen protectors. They removed the product i mentioned in my request but all other bundles are still listed with the wrong description.

what a freakin' tease. i would have loved to have had that clear tpu case.

All products mentioned are found on US Amazon.com
So far the only TPU case I have seen that's for Pixel C <--- does NOT fit Pixel C as customer lefted a photo review on the product he received.
http://www.amazon.com/Junsi-Leather-Headphone-Google-Tablet/dp/B01CQTFSKO
I do not have it in my possession to test the fitment yet, just wanna get the words out with others that's looking for one.
(granted the demo photos doesn't show pixel C in it, but some other products. Just hope these China vendors get the fitment right.)
Other interesting alternatives I have seen so far is the full body coverage skin

Personally I'm currently using Moko's folio cover as the additional thickness it added is still deem acceptable to me and does the job.

Hey there, the skinomi skins work just fine. A bit of a pain to apply but not too bad, just watch their intructional Video. But this is just a Skin and no case, so no drop protection really.

That's exactly my concern also. At most it'll just prevent scratches on the original metal body, wouldn't prevent / provide enough protection from possible little bumps / drops during daily uses.

Exactly, a Skin is not enough, a Folio Case will protect the Pixel C allround but I really dislike the front Display flap. Very annoying. I opted for buying the skinomi techskin combined with this http://www.amazon.com/Booncover-Uni...=UTF8&qid=1463390156&sr=8-2&keywords=Reboon+l
This is expensive though. Would have much prefered a simple bumper case. Grrr.

Negative on the potential TPU case I shared the other day.
A customer that got the product, left a photo review saying it aren't the right fitment.........

This is frustrated, I can't find no bumper case for this device.

i thought about trying to find a similar shaped tablet and using a tpu case for it and i would just make my own camera/speaker holes. not the prettiest solution but i think it would get the job done. the closest thing i could find to the pixels dimensions was the galaxy tab 10.1. so i'm thinking about picking up this case:

Let u s know how well it fits. Thank you and all the Best

I ordered a cheap chinese tpu case for a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 but it does not fit.
The corners of the Samsung device are rounder than the pixel c. Height and width are ok.
I had to remove the corners of the case, now the tablet fits, but the corners are needed to give the case stability and keep it around the tablet.
Without the corners the case slips down of the tablet easily. I hoped it would fit but without the stability it is useless for me...

Video Review: TPU S-Case for Nexus 4

Hey fellas,
I used to post my reviews over on the Galaxy S3 forums (and the Galaxy Nexus, S2 and Nexus S forums before that), but since I've recently gotten my Nexus 4, I decided to start my coverage as soon as possible. As most of you know, brand name cases are still hard to find but should be released in the next few weeks. I decided to pick up a temporary case in the TPU S-Case and wanted to share my thoughts. This is a simple TPU case that offers contrasting matte and glossy portions to create a cool design.
The case offers a moderate amount of protection without adding too much bulk and is extremely affordable at only 5$! I'm happy to take a look at any cases you'd like me to, so feel free to recommend anything! I will be posting a ton more content on the channel. Check out the full review of the S-Case below and let me know what you think:
I remember your vids from the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus forums. Nice to see you covering accessories for the N4 as well
as for the case, I'm tempted to order one because of the cheap price tag to hold me over until the Rearth slim gets here but then again it might arrive the same time as my N4

Thanks man! Rearth cases ship on the 30th, so you'd only have this one for a few days. I'm really excited to get the Slim case though, looks terrific and Rearth has yet to disappoint me!
I had one of these for my nexus S and threw it away in the same day.
This is just a piece of rubber bulky trash..
My case came in yesterday from kaycase. I got it for .99 cents!!!
There were several brands selling these on Amazon for various prices. It's hard to pick when there are almost no reviews, because no one has their phone. o.o I ended up buying one from "YESOO" (best name ever) that, for ~$6, came with a stylus too. Sure, why not? I like that they are providing clear options, to keep the N4 sparkle effect, but it's sad that basically no one is making a fully clear case yet. It's all the S design. (Normally that'd be great, but the N4 doesn't need window dressing. ) The Rearth ones look really nice too (very Feather-like) but no clear ones.

Yeah, I'm on the lookout for a case that shows off the back too! Rearth is sending me their cases out late this week/early next so I should have videos up on those soon. They always make good quality products in my opinion!
I don't think we will be able to get a clear gel case because it would look like it had water under the case like the clear part ot the clear and frosted S case.

How did you get it for only .99? It's 9.99 listed now? Curious. thanks.
I actually have this case for my HTC Glacier (MyTouch 4G). It's been a very durable case that has protected my phone very well (from 8-10 foot drops from a ladder). I'm a construction worker, and this case has outlasted more expensive models from Trident Case. There is one thing I would like to point out to anyone that is thinking of picking this case up. As a construction worker, I'm not always in the cleanest of environments. This case will allow dirt, dust, and sand to collect between the case and the back of the phone. The metal back of the Glacier is very ugly to look at now because of this. As anyone who has looked into Gorilla Glass 2 knows, sand is it's enemy. This is true of all materials though, dirt and sand will wreck havoc on anything. Just a heads up to anyone that's "hard" on their device. Otherwise, I have no complaints, especially the fall protection this case has proven.
I drop my phone a lot.
I ordered one of these from ebay, the clear and frost one for $5 as well. On amazon a lot of the cases were around $10.

I wonder if one of those front-and-back screen protectors would help with that? I've noticed that with other TPU cases I've had too. (For whatever reason, my Feather on my Nexus S hasn't gathered dirt. It's nice.)
Something else that's kind of concerned me with the N4's dual glass, and a TPU case, is accidental side-crushing. Like if you put it in a pocket and then accidentally run into the corner of something. The hard cases are nice for that... aaahh! Choices! :silly: The TPU was cheap so it'll give me some peace of mind until there's more selection, at least.
So many questions!

How much bulk? What are the external dimensions of this case?
Do you use a screen protector? If yes, is the case covering it? touching it? pushing against it?
Thank you for your review!

Hey, I'm the guy that owns this case on his MyTouch 4G. Since your inquiry doesn't have a response, I'll tell you about the version I have. It's the thinnest, sleekest case I have seen for a phone that isn't a skin layer. It actually wraps around the phone, creating a lip for the front of the phone. This is great if the phone ever winds up face down, as it keeps the screen from coming in contact with the surface the phone is lying on.
I would say the case is about 1/32nd of an inch thick, adding a total of maybe a 16th of an inch to the width of the phone (sorry if this isn't helpful, I live in the US and my job consists of a lot of measurements in inches). The sides of the case have a raised diamond plate pattern to it that helps immensely with keeping your grip on the device.
With the case wrapping around the bevels of the screen, I have found that it will push on any full screen protectors I have installed. You can easily wrap the case around the screen protectors to prevent this, but I store my phone in my pocket, so when I reach in there to pull it out, I tend to grip the case which causes it to bend just enough to slip back and push the screen protector again. This of course causes the protector to bow and collect dust. If you can keep the case's edge on the screen protector, I wouldn't see this being an issue, but it is something I have experienced.
As stated, this is my opinion on the version for the MyTouch 4G, though the design seems nearly identical, with the buttons in different places. I hope it's helpful, and perhaps you'll get some information from someone with the Nexus 4 version. I'm hoping to find a durable case for my Nexus 4. With that full glass body, I don't want to hide it, but as stated previously, I'm a construction worker and need to protect it.
$2.30 on dealextreme
I found the standard S-case for $2.30 on dealextreme. I can't post the links because I'm a new member but you can find it if you look it up on their website. Probably cheaper than anywhere else, if you don't mind the shipping times.
I bought one of the ones from Amazon, mainly cause I had a $20 gift card from buying Halo 4 during Black Friday, and so I could use Prime Shipping. Here's the video overview I put together:
Note: I bought this one http://amzn.to/11PmX90 and the photos show the logo on the bottom of the back - this logo is not there on the actual product.
It's really nice. I'd rather have an Otterbox, but this works in the meantime.

I believe Ebay is where they're finding them for $5. You also end up with longer shipping times, etc. Pretty sure it's the same case at the end of the day.

Otterbox Commuter v. Incipio DualPro v. Seidio Active

Hello all,
I've always only had the Otterbox Commuter as my one and only case for phones, and with them being so slow to get out the color I want for the S4, I was wondering if I should keep waiting for a bit longer or go with another choice like the Incipio DualPro or Seidio Active. I don't have any experience with either of them, so I'm wondering if anyone who has used them can shed some light (both good and bad) on them.
Thanks.

Incipio Dual Pro is horrible. Fitment is off and constantly slips on an end, exposing the screen with no lip coverage. Luckily it was free from the ATT store for me, but i wish i chose a different case from them. I ended up ordering a minimalist JL case from amazon anyway.
I have an Incipio case and I think it's great. Probably the best case I've had for a phone. Only like $25 too.

Consider having a look see at the Casemate Toughcase if you like the otterbox, its actually less bulky while providing better protection for the phone. I'm very surprised this case doesn't see more play here becuase its a truly good case and I get people asking my out of the blue what it is and where I purchased it. I've got probably a dozen friends on it now and I did nothing to convince them, they mauled and pawed at the case for a few and were sold. If you are of a mind you can quickly pull up a few reviews on youtube of the case.
I've been using the Seidio Active case for a few days now. I used a 10% off coupon I found searching Google and it came out to $31 shipped. I bought the one with the grooves for your fingers. Also has a kickstand. I pull out the kickstand when holding the phone and put my ring finger under the kickstand so I have a good hold of the phone and my thumb can reach more of the screen. Kickstand also comes in handy with the smart stay option so the screen won't turn off when I'm reading. It is easy to take on and off so I can get to the battery easily. All the proper cut outs are there and are lined up perfectly. Complaints - When typing or pushing the menu / back key my fat fingers will hit the edge of the case. I just have to work on using the tip of my thumb. Depending on the angle of the phone you may not be able to see the notification light. There are covers for the volume and power button which took some getting used to but I can now hit them without looking.

How well does that case work with a glass screen protector?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
I have the Incipio Dual Pro Carbon now as my temporary case. The rubber is constantly coming off from around the lip. You see the silver when this happens. Not a huge deal but in a drop it won't be that good. Also the silicone grabs a little bit of lint.
Seidio active... I have it on my Nexus 7 and had it on my Note 1.... Huge lint magnet, OLD OLD design, silicone can be warped and won't lay flat in some areas.
Otterbox Commuter.... I will order one of the colored models when available. Buttons were terrible on the S3 but it seems to have an improved design....Putting the case on seems to be better than the S3... Overalll good design.
I also ordered the Cygnett Workmate... It seems to cover the issues from the other case and offers better grip... I will know in a couple of weeks.

The edges of the case do come over the top of the device to the screen side but this is only the softer inner portion of the case and I'm thinking it would work fine but I do not use screen protectors so I'm not certain. You can see it pretty clearly in some of the youtube videos of the case so you should be able to make a call from that. A link is here ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l3X7Oxgx5I and the same fellow reviews several others which might catch your interest as well.
I've included a couple pictures that show something you cant see there. The one is of my year old S3 case next to my brand new S4 case. Notice how the thing still looks new? The other seems like kind of an oddball picture but what you are looking at is the largest portion of the soft inner case and the thing to notice there is the lack of lint. While these do catch a tiny bit of lint it is very little as you can see there. I did not clean the case up, it went from my pocket to the drawer after my S4 got here.
On my S3 I have had my phone in that case directly alongside a friend who had his in a commuter case and we both agreed that this case felt better in the hand and it had a more premium feel. It also has better grip but does not hang in the pocket. He in fact is one of the people I know who ditched his case and got the Casemate instead. Now I've obviously not seen the Otterbox for the S4 yet but it appears much like the Casemate counterpart to be pretty much a rehash and I would expect that they will compare similarly again.

I bought mine (Dual Pro) at a TMob store. I totally disgaree regarding overlapping screen. It TOTALLY protects the screen via it's superb fit overlapping. Plus it has a nice "feel just holding it'. Used to have a Body Glovefor my S3. The bodyglove was on the thick side and it just didn't have the same tactile feeling when holding the phone. Mine is black with Grey...IOW two tone. Only saw it in a TMob store. Solid colors online from this link.

Man, that is some kind of funky back they have there. How does it feel? What is it?
And you said that Casemate offers better protection than the Commuter, any links to vids/proof to this? Cause if that's true, then that's a great deal. It looks like it is as bulky as the DualPro. Lastly, how are the colors with the Casemate? Got sick of all black, and that's why I've been looking elsewhere while waiting for the Commuter colors. Thanks.
Incipio DualPro
I purchased my Incipio DualPro from an AT&T store ($35 + tax) just to have something to protect the phone while I figure out what I really want as far as a case. I went in to get the cheapest thing they had but really liked the look of the fake carbon fiber which looks even better in person. But, the silicone layer is so loose and floppy that even with the stiff Plextonium frame:laugh:, it won't hold its shape leaving the bezel exposed where the fancy named frame isn't. This case had the makings of a winner.
Love this look:
Hate this:
Returned to AT&T store today!
The outer shell is plastic. It has the appearence of the knurling you see on a ratchet handle for example. In person it looks good and has a better feel than that of the Otterbox counterpart. The bulk of the case is about the same as the commuter, it is designed for protection and those who would avoid the Otterbox commuter for that reason would want to avoid it as well. That said it is slighly less bulky than its commuter counterpart because it is thinner.
As to protection there are no sure proofs, no 1000 phones dropped and here is the absolute numbers, test. You have to look at the case and make a judgement. The casemate clearly covers the corners better and has a better fit which combined with what are visibly better materials means you can pretty much figure your phone has a better chance than it does in the commuter. There is no sure thing. I had my S2 and then S3 both in the same case for those phones and while I haven't dropped the S4 yet I did have occasion to drop both of those several times and neither suffered a scratch although again no case will protect against bad luck.
In regards to the colors, I've no idea. I always go black so have never looked. Best bet might be to check the case out in a store. Its popular enough that I noticed our AT&T shop here had some on the shelf for S3s. Or if you have a case kiosk at the mall they will likely have one and you can check out the material yourself. Casemate has many other cases but I have no experience with them. I was Otterbox all the way till I ran into the toughcase which just plain out commuters the commuter at its own game. IMO
Looking at the dimensions of all the products, it looks like Casemate is the bulkiest, with Otterbox second, and Incipio DualPro the least bulkiest.
The one thing I'm not a fan of the Casemate from the pictures is that there seems to be more open exposed areas, especially at the top.
I ordered the Dual Pro case and have been waiting for it to come in.... I bought the Body Glove Dimensions case from the T-Mobile store just to have something on it until the Dual Pro case came in...The Dual Pro case looked really nice in the store but I want the white and gray one that they didn't have.. Now I'm hearing all the crappy reviews about the Dual Pro case and I'm having buyers remorse...Maybe I will get one from a good batch that will fit like a glove...UNLIKELY!!!! Anyway the Body Glove Dimensions case feels really good in my hand and looks nice however it doesn't protect anything just nice and slim.

Im not sure where you are getting your dimensions from but I can tell you from actually having both in my hand with the S3 the toughcase is slimmer. Since it appears that the Commuter is a reboot with a few minor changes just as the toughcase is for S4 I'm pretty sure you are going to see the same thing again. Also the only openings on the tough case are where the IR and headphone jacks are and the same applies on the bottom where there is no opening other than the two ports there. The Otterbox possesses exactly the same openings in their case and then unlike the otterbox the casemate piece does not have the wide open corners which are the single most likely spot for the phone to hit in a drop.
lol Sometimes you just cant let a favorite go, I do it myself. Either way you're getting a good case that stands a real chance of saving your overpriced ludicrously profitable for Samsung device so its all good. :good:

You do have to remember that those that have problems are usually the ones that take to online to complain, so just take all the amount of bad stuff with a grain of salt.

:silly: I think on the corners, they both go about it differently, Otterbox has the silicone there, and casemate has both, with the plastic outside. Bet they both have their own science reasons for doing it that way lol.
I'll wait it out a little while longer before deciding. I think my biggest concern about the casemate is that I won't like how the textured back feels.

Mine does exactly this.
I just saw that UAG (urban armor gear) is going to start shipping their cases soon.... might have to look into them now :/
Never had a one piece polycarbonate silicone case before.

Leather Sleeves Anyone?

I've noticed a lot of posts about cases, bumpers, etc. If you are like me, you are not a huge fan of hiding a beautiful new phone you just bought. No offence to those that like cases, I just like to enjoy the phone without any 'additions'.
I've always been a big fan of leather sleeves / pouches. They are a great way to prevent scratches and even save your phone from mild drops when you aren't using it. When you have your phone out you have a nice space to lay it on that won't get it scratched either.
So far I have seen the leather sleeve made by SENA:
I'm wondering if there are any other sleeve fans out there and if anyone else has found any sleeves / pouches that are a slim fit and of high quality?
The one linked above won't be available until late may
Cheers!

Nice find. I just took a look at the site, it's too bad they don't make any full pouches without a cutout on the bottom. I don't really want any part of the phone exposed except for on the top open side of course.
How do you find it?

I'm the same way, I hate putting a case on my phones.
I bought this one for my S6 : fitBAG Black Nappa Leather.
I really like it, it's very thin with a nice material insides that helps remove fingerprints if there are any (I was quite surprised that both the front and the back don't take fingerprints easily, which goes completely against what I've seen in some reviews..) and will for sure not scratch the phone.
It's good quality, well made, and real leather.
It only has an opening on top and the phone is completely covered and won't fall off by itself, though it's not hard to remove it if you press the phone on the bottom of the pouch (it fits perfectly without being incredibly hard to put in and remove).
I hope that helps you.
I've heard very good stories about these leather pouches on Etsy. While not the cheapest, I've read they are of great quality and look good. All handmade and in case you wanna use it in combination with an extra case/bumper she'll custom make them for you. I've ordered one 2 days ago, expecting to get it next week (along with my S6 ).
I'll let you know how it is.
I got this one for myself, I am very happy with it.

Case/cover for Z4 tablet

Has anyone found half decent case for their Z4 tablet yet?
For my original Z tablet I had the Poetic slimline case which was great. I have seen a few of a similar design advertised for the Z4T but many of the pictures have a badly photoshopped Z4T picture on the case which makes me nervous about whether or not they are really suitable.
I am looking at ordering the official Sony case in from Poland as I can actually get it cheaper than I would pay for it in the UK but I would prefer to be able to actually see it first. No Sony store in the UK hs the case available yet, apparently (only a handful of them even have the tablet itself!) If anyone already has the official case, please post a review.
I have seen the Muvit case advertised but in the UK it is almost as expensive as the official Sony case so not sure what the best optiion is
Would appreciate any feedback. Have you got a case for your Z4T? Is it any good? How much did you pay for it? Where did you get it from?
Thanks,
L

I did purchase SONY case for my Z1T initially, but after one drop where one of the only 2 clip / holder on the side banded. Making the whole case obsolete as my tablet was moving around loosely if not eventually snapped the banded holder.
From Sony's site, the case for Z4T seems to be similar deisgn (SCR32/B), so I probably wouldn't be getting it for my Z4T.
Ultimately I had good experienced with this brand, Ray-Out, and it's very durable case as I use my Z1T for gaming primary year round.
And, I'm ordering their accessories for Z4T also. (Case & blue-light cut protection film)
Hi,
Just some thoughts about the SRC32...
I found it to be very slim and a bit flimsy.
If you ask me it´s not really worth the price, but on the other hand there´s not too many choices out there and it does a decent job. It also looks pretty good in the closed position due to the slimness.
The magnetic lock is nice feature but it wasn´t as good as the iPad-air covers as the lock is located on the top rather than built in to the front, so it doesn´t get the same kind of fit when closed. The fit of the front side cover can get/feel a bit flimsy in closed position.
I also found it quite hard to keep the SCR32 in the standing position when used on a soft surface, as it tend to collapse a little too easily.
If it was prices at 10-20$ I would have been completely happy with it. I was expecting a little more from a 50$ cover/stand, but I guess it´s pretty common for the original accessories to be overpriced?
So in the end I didn´t regret buying it as there were no other chooses available and I really appreciated the extra protection and viewing stand.
Thanks for your feedback on the SCR32. At the moment I am struggling to find an alternative but hope that in a few months there will be something available. For the time being I managed to pick up the SCR32 for the equivalent of $38USD so it will have to do for now.
Cheers

Well quick update. I brought the IVSO case off from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/IVSO-Smart-...&ie=UTF8&qid=1436350615&sr=1-13&keywords=IVSO
I would say that it is ok but it has a concave back which ultimately makes the tablet seem a lot thicker. Also, I am struggling to keep my tablet standing up to watch a movie using the IVSO case so all in all, I am afraid I would not recommend it. I am hoping my Sony SCR32 will be better.

"Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Case, Pasonomi® Ultra-Slim and Ultra-light PU Leather Folio Case Stand Cover With Smart Cover Auto Wake / Sleep Feature for Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet-PC 10.1 inch (Slim Series Black)"
This is the only case available on Amazon US that I can recommend. The moko case is poorly cut and magnetic closure doesn't work. The IVSO case has that gaudy metal band for magnetic closure and, as you have said and I can confirm, a slighly concave back and doesn't stand up too well. This Pasonomi case is flat, feels good in hand, has working magnetic closure, and no branding. My SCR32 is stuck in Germany due to their postal strike so I haven't been able to try it yet to compare. Even so, the Pasonomi is the only good slim 3rd party case available on Amazon or anywhere else I have looked. The only downside is that it creaks a little too much when you put pressure on it near the magnets.
I have SCR32. Pros: slim, light, elegant, very good quality. Cons: flimsy, overpriced, very little protection. Verdict: would be great if cheaper. Pls note the official statement on Sony website : this case is not for protection.
I wanted to update this now that I have received my SCR32. I think so far as the SCR32 goes as a case, it is a bit pricey but, to be honest, having tried a cheaper case that would not even stand up, it is a much better model. The key thing to remember is that it is a "Style Cover" rather than a protective case. Therefore, it is not designed to provide all round protection for your new tablet. It is designed to do 2 things only:
1) Protect the glass screen from scratches (it does this)
2) Enable you to place your tablet at an optimum viewing angle (it also does this)
On thing I will say about it is that it does not increase the thickness of the tablet as much as some other cases I have seen.
It effectively has 4 clips attaching it to your tablet. Top and bottom and one on each side. The top and bottom clips are about 2 inches in width and the side clips are about 1 inch in width. Therefore, it does not have a surrounding frame for your tablet with cut-outs for ports etc. This, I think is what leads people to refer to it as flimsy. It is not, once you get used to it but because of the design, at first it feels like the tablet is coming away from the style cover.
Bottom line - it does compliment the tablet nicely and does what it has been designed to do. It has not been designed as an all round tablet protector. Think of it like an Ipad smart cover rather than an all round tablet protective case and you will not be far out. so
It is over priced and, to my mind should be about half the price it is retailing at - But then Apple charges about £29 GBP for the Ipad smart case so about right.
Hope this helps educate your buying decisions!

I just got my SCR32 in today finally after waiting for the Deutsche Post strike to end. It definitely shouldn't cost more than $35USD imo for build materals and quality. A good comparison would be to the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 official cover. The scr32 is slightly nicer and higher end at a lower msp. Both are overpriced though. It is much nicer than the moko, ivso, and pasnomi cases but not as much as price would indicate. One reason I do recommend it over the other cases even at its price is the way it snaps into place. The 3rd party cases could very easily scratch the tablet's metal frame during install and removal of one isn't careful. They are far too rigid. The SCR32's snaps are far more pliable and they more naturally bend around the frame of the tablet. This was instability noticeable for me. If you intend to remove the tablet from the case on occasion and want to keep it in good shape, splurge for the scr32.
Any hybrid case recommended? My kids always play games and throw the tablet.
I was going to buy the Sony case but my wife like that on goo.gl/aaWQra and its ok and much more cheaper
Just got my case today and I'm quite pleased with it. Slim that it doesn't take away to much from the nice design, hard shell back, and the origami design of the front cover gives you many possible options for standing it up. And the best part.... Under 10 Euro. German Amazon link for those interested.

good material. elegant and also stylish very good
I bought this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/29157000287...49&var=590618933745&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
It's actually a nice case. The tablet fits snug; no chance of the tablet falling out. In fact, you have to be careful if you want to remove the tablet from the case.
When you open the case, the tablet comes on.
When closed the height is 9/16"
Transmissum est utens Tapatalk ab Xperia Z-IV mea.
cheap case
I've just received this affordable case for my tablet and I really like it. It' very similar to Poetic line of cases and nicely protects the corners of the tablet and magnet turns on/off the screen.

Over 20+ NOTE 7 Cases Reviewed

Hey guys, so I went a little overboard and bought over 20 cases.
I also bought 5 different types of screen protectors.
Instead of trying to post over 20 photos I just put everything on video. I split it into two parts because there were too many cases.
Here's part one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYm9pe57Ej4
Here's part two https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlJ0E2BeOLY
Updated with part three https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAInEO0LgLs
Let me know if you have any questions about any of the cases.
Nice video! on your part 1, can you link me where you found the "Inovate" leather case with rhe grip on the back that comes with the screen protector and stylus? Couldn't find it anywhere
Good quick reviews there. You must have spent a fortune on these! Where did you order the Captron Dual Hybrid case in Part 1? The gunmetal colour one. That looks a good contender for what I like.
Haven't watched the videos as of yet, but is it possible to give a written recommendation of a few cases, and why you recommend them, possibly links to where they were purchased?
Like to see reviews on Note 7 cases with kickstands and standing mode cover.
I currently using the Galaxy Note 7 Black S View Standing Cover case. It was hard to find right now with the brick & mortar stores. The only brick & mortar store that I found this cover right now was "Best Buy". I like lots with the S View features and standing mode. The downside is that it hides some of the Note 7 design.

I can write something up...I actually got a few more cases in and plan to do a Part 3. This one might be my favorite, it's from a brand called Myriann.
Link is HERE Here's why I like it.
1. It's a dual hybrid case but it's as THIN as a standard TPU case. Usually these cases are a little thicker because of the tpu and plastic shell but this is extremely slim.
2. I noticed with the Note 7 cases, on the left and right sides, some cases go straight down. What I mean is, the cases should dip in a little bit to account for the curve in the screen. You'll notice with the Myriann case that the sides dip in to accomodate the sides. This isn't a huge deal but when you're holding it, it makes it feel slimmer due to this "cut" in the case.
3. The texture is excellent on the back and it looks very modern.
I could write up some more stuff about the different cases but it really depends on preferences and looks. Do you want more protection or are you focused on just having minimal protection? Do you want to show off the Note design or do you mind if it gets covered with carbon fiber or leather patterns? It really depends on the preference of the user.

I may have to buy that case. Would that be your recommendation if I am looking for minimal protection? Want to show off the design of the Note 7. Really hate when cases cover up the design!
Thanks for your input, very valuable! I'm so used to otter box defender cases, but them things are so damn bulky... So I would like protection first but comfortably thin. If I can show off the phone kool but not necessary. If it had a kickstand I would be happy but it's not mandatory. Damn, I pretty much want every option in one case!

If you want minimal and to show off the phone then probably the Ringke AIR or any one of the clear generic cases I reviewed.
I would recommend the myriann because I like the carbon fiber texture on the back and it is very very SLIM for being that style of case. However, if you want to show off the Note as is, get a clear case.
BTW
GORILLA GLASS 5 IS WEAK! I only had the Note 7 for a couple days, been in a case this entire time and the back glass has a very faint scratch.
Also if you look at my other videos I put up a bunch of screen protectors. I probably spent over $100 on accessories and I can say the ZAGG/IQ Shield types suck if you want to use the Spen. I know many Note users who rarely use the pen so it won't matter but I use it daily and it just sticks and feels horrible on those screen protectors. I installed over 4 and took them all off and the tempered glass ones weren't any better because they didn't stick like they were supposed to.
