And worked

Ive just installed OxygenOS and when i insert a usb cable the one shows charging but it shows in both the computer and the one that there is no usb cable connected. (settings>storage>3 vertical dots>USB computer connection--> says Connect your device to a computer to access USB connection settings.) Here is what i have found....
1) Its the same cable ive always used
2) connecting my one to another computer with that cable and same results
3) connection another one to my computer with the cable works fine
4) connecting another one to another computer with cable works fine
5) I can reboot the one in fast boot with "fastboot reboot" via Command Prompt
6) I can adb push files to it as well
Please if anyone has had this issue or knows how to fix it PLEASE let me know. Im slamming my head on my desk right now.

I had the same issue, wiped cache in recovery and it started working normal. Just a thought.
hey guyz...Everytime I plug my OnePlus 2 in USB port of my PC.....it say USB not recognized ...even in my friend's Pc ...I thought it's a USB problem...so I bought a new USB (original)...but still the problem is there ...don't know what to do....the drivers are also UpTo date....even when I reinstall the drivers it says ur drivers are already installed and UpTo date...don't know what to do..when I connect my OnePlus 2 with my PC no option like(mtp/pro..etc) on notification panel....it's just charging my device....I tried changing it from developer option but when ever I select mtp or ptp it always goes on charging only.....even the debugging option is enabled.....but it of no use....cuz when I typed adb devices in command window it says no device attached or something like that plz help....I am not a noob...but this problem is irritating me...plz someone help me
I am trying to install custom firmware on b760h stb. I have already installed mtk preloader drivers. But when I connect STB with laptop through USB A male to USB A male, it doesn't work. is there any way to connect it to the laptop.
first, Cek... USB Cable, does it work?
Second, Check if the usb driver is correct ?
Conect usb male to male in to usb 1 in the stb without power adaptor.
I am facing the same problem. I have checked the USB Male to Male cable. It works. I also installed the USB drivers for Window10. I connected the USB cable in USB1 Port of STB without power adapter. But still it doesnt work.

ASUS ZS551KL(dark blue) failed to transfer data from PC via type C cable but charging works.
ZS551KL did not ask me "allow to transfer from PC" after connecting to type C cable as usual.
same cable works to another ZS551KL(white).
But Type C USB flash driver works well with both.
It occurred one day suddenly. All of those accessories are the same as before(cablesăPC).
Could anyone help?

If rebooting PC & phone hasn't resolved, one way of testing phone's USB-C port would be trying ADB (e.g. "adb.exe shell ls -l /place/of/interest", "adb.exe pull /place/of/interest/desired*files" following setup like https://wiki.lineageos.org/adb_fastboot_guide.html ). HTH
