How can I view the files on my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, specifically the music? I have placed over 30 song on it, but it only plays and sees the last 4. I know they're on it because if I try to put a duplicate song on it, I get that error.

So I am using an HTC Evo running Android 2.2 with HTC Sense.
I am trying to set up some playlists in the stock music player.
Creating the playlists in the music player is pretty straight forward. The problem is some of the song titles are too long to read on the screen. It doesn't have a landscape mode either, so that doesn't help.
I have friends who are musicians, and I have a lot of their music on my phone. They will give me, for example, a 4 disk set with 20 songs per disk and each song will be named SquishFunkJamsWinter2010Song5Disk2.
If I put the whole folder for each disk in a playlist, it defaults to putting song 10 before song 1, and the order is all weird. And when I try to change the order of the playlist, I can't read the end of the name because it's too long.
Does anyone know of a good app that will let me create or edit playlists and will work in landscape, or at least let me scroll over to read the end of the longer file names?
Also, does anyone know where the stock HTC music player stores the playlists that it creates?
I am looking for a way to do this on the phone, not a computer...
I have tried all the music players and not one can find this album. It is there, because I see it in root explorer. If i click on a song it will play that song only. For some reason the album will not show up. I took it off phone and computer, Re burned it, and reloaded it to phone. Permissions are the same and it is MP3 format.
Any thought? Thanks, it is one of my favorites and hate not being able to listen to it.
Edit: Solved, you have to take out the "..." from the beginning of album name and reboot for it to show up. I guess a file name can't start with "..." .
Sorry if this was maybe supposed to be posted in another forum or thread.
Flashed with ZEUS 6, I went to listen to some songs of mine, and all the songs were blank: the song and album titles weren't there. When I pressed one of the blank songs, I got: "Sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file," but the player showed the name of the song. I scrolled down and saw only three playable songs with the titles and album art listed. I went to My Files and was able to play the .mp3's there, though, for some reason. Recorded video just said, "Unsupported file type." I Google'd around as much as I could, but all of the solutions didn't go pass deleting a Twitter app, something I never downloaded or had. I think it might've had something to do with uninstalling BetterBatteryStats, but I'm unsure. I'm not sure if it's something I did or the ROM, which has been pretty buggy ever since I flashed it. I rebooted the phone already, a bunch of times, and it seems like the only option I have is to flash back to stock, unless there's another solution. This started happening today.
Extra details:
All the songs are on an external SD card.
iTag and Google music also only listed those 3 songs, but PowerAmp was able to list and play them fine (I downloaded it to see if it wouldn't play those songs).
Unable to record or play recorded videos.
EDIT: I fixed the music problem. As it turns out there was something called a .nomedia file on my SD card. I deleted it, but I still can't record or play recorded videos.
Is there anyway that anybody has figured out to make a playlist on the gear 2 music player? I use my gear alot at the gym and connect it to my bluetooth headphones but all the music I sent to the my gear is just one big alphabetical playlist. Is there any way to either make a playlist on the gear or even reorder the songs the way I want as opposed to alphabetical order because that sucks bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
I was wondering the same.

When you're in the music player, press the top right icon to get to the now playing list and then press top right again you'll get a list of tracks on the watch, you can scroll to playlists, albums, artists and folders here so it definitely supports playlists to some degree but there's only 4 default playlists of recently played, recently added, most played and favourites. You can add tracks to favourites by holding down on them in the tracks list and selecting "add to favourites" so it seems you can use favourites to create one single playlist but you can't set an order as far as I can see so the tracks will still order themselves alphabetically by artist.
If you hook it up to the computer there is a playlists folder but it doesn't seem to do anything. I've copied m3u and pla playlists into both the music and playlists folder to no joy. You can create new folders within music and use the folders menu on the watch I suppose but that's gonna put them in alphabetical order so I guess the only way to make a playlist on the watch work in anything but alphabetical at the moment would be to edit the id3 tags of your mp3s to make them all appear to be on the same album. The existance of a playlist menu and playlist folders is a good sign though I assume.
Thanks dominoid I do indeed appreciate the help. It may not indeed fix our problem totally but its a great start maybe in a future update they will fix this. In the mean time at very least I can make a favorites playlist just for thr gym until someone figures out another way. Needless to say thanks for info on the favorites playlist I was unaware of it :good: edit......However I did figure out after playing around with it that when you put songs in your favorites playlist it doesn't put them in alphabetical order it puts them in the order you put them in the playlist meaning the first song you put in there will be last in the playlist and the very last song you put in the playlist will now be first. So although it may be tedious and time consuming it technically is possible to put one playlist in the order you like.....better than nothing I suppose.....thanks again for your help
I just recently acquired a Samsung Galaxy 4 Tab 7 inch. I use MX Video as my go to video player. My question is this (and I have googled and searched and come up with no answer) when I watch a video that is stored on an external sd card I would like it to automatically start the next video when the first is finished, but instead it just keeps repeating the same video over and over again, is there a setting that I am missing that makes it repeat like that. I am beating my head against a wall trying to figure this out.
Disable the loop in settings. I don't think it has autoplay or playlist.
Just open up MX Player and browse a folder, they should play one after the other if they are named in sequence. Rename the videos to 01.mp4, 02.mp4, 03.mp4 and so on.
P.S. This isn't the right forum, don't use google! use XDA!

Ask there all your doubts.
Yeah mx player doesnt have autoplay like some kind of netflix since youre not supposed to have entrie series stored on your sdcard....
