An S23 phone from China was restricted in imei.
I think this is unfair, I know that in the US you can change the imei, but I don't know how to do it, does anyone know how to do it

@jopeu Edit or change of IMEI is illegal in quite a few of countries. Due to this reason, discussions on this subject are not permitted on XDA. As per the Forum Rules:

Hello everyone,
Recently my home country issue a statement that all devices coming from outside of the country will be blocked over the network.
and they are requesting half the price of the mobile phone so they will unblock it.
I have some old phone and I want to swipe their IMEI's with the new phones I have, as the old ones are working before that statement issued and they can continue to work with no problems.
Please i need the steps to change IMEI number for {Mod edit}.

As the change or edit of IMEI's is illegal in quite a few countries, XDA doesn't accept any discussion of or support to change or edit an IMEI.

As you stated above yourself, we all know that edit or change of IMEI is illegal in quite a few of countries. For this reason, XDA doesn't allow and accept discussions about or support for such an edit or change.

If the device has been paid off, please contact the service provider for unlocking. If not, it is illegal in most parts of the world to unlock. We do not want any legal trouble. Rule 9:
