As long as it is Nougat = Yes. Android 7.0 is the barely Minimum to run this Patch

The 3Gb could cause Problems with the Light Kernel Option. If You decide to disable it in AROMA everything should run fine. V1.2 of the Patch will not longer have this Option so is this only a Problem on the actual Version. (Light Kernel = Disabled = All good on 3Gb). Hope You'll enjoy it! :angel:

I think that you will have a issues with this patch. Check post - for Android 7.1.X like Mokee - that means AOSP-based ROM. MIUI is heavily customised AOSP. That means that you can have serious issues on your phone.

I don't think there will come more 3Gb Devices in the Future since the Prices for Storage Chips are falling with the Years. But as long as there are 64Bit Snapdragons with 3Gb RAM i've to support them too!

i use mi5s3gb/64, i already disable Light kernel, i have some problem
- i must restart 3 times to finish setup wizard
- calling no sound, ui and notification sound have so much noise
testing more...

I confirm bug of sound when calling with 3gb/64gb mokee rom.
I am trying with RR, after will revert you
Edit: Same bug in RR
Edit2: Seems resolve bug if I in preferences-app set again phone default app.

@Miustone Would a cooperation of both of you be possible? So a rom with integrated patch? Or is it technically not possible?

@Miustone How can i configure Htc battery saver, it always kill my music player after 3s screen off

Are the improvements noticable? Also, can I flash this over my existing installation? Or do I have to wipe system and data, then reinstall rom and patch?

Strange i took test again on newly flashed LOS 14.1 without gapps but Antutu score never gone beyond 78k. How did you get 82k?

Thank you for suggestion, May i ask you for battery backup SOT while using in Performance mode?
My phone is always stays in Balance mode for good... I found difficulty in Casting videos on my TV, phone hangs sometimes badly, evenugh i put at Performance mode it didn't help.

I tend not to keep it on performance mode but you can get around 13 to 12 hours screen on time normal use no games
But i play 3D games on balanced I get 13 hours screen on time

EDIT: Looks like I didnt update firmware. I used MiFlash instead and its now working fine.

So whats the benefits besides it being MIUI 10. From what I have been reading not much. Just trying to do a cost / benefit analysis on upgrading...

Installed! Fairly nice. No notifications on lock screen but I figure that's more a theme issue than the miui 10. Like the jesters and full screen mode!

You need to enable them per app in Settings.

There are a few themes on the theme app that have lock screen notifications. These are old themes so they cause other crashes though.

It’s probably a programming item in MIUI 10... plus the fact that no themes made for 10 with notifications exist yet (or are very limited). My notifications light works so not a big deal. We’ll see what the next release gives us... I would assume they will try to drop a new beta weekly or bi-weekly. Haven’t been following how fast the China releases came out. Did anyone also notice or maybe it’s me... notification shade doesn’t change either with theme?

Why? The only meaningful thing you get from TWRP is scripts and backuptools. These come with gapps, so backuptool isn't required.

And it makes it so easy that people are more willing to try out the latest ROM just for kicks. Knowing that I can get back to square one in about 5 minutes, I'll be much more willing to test drive the latest ROM or beta release. As it is now, it might take 45 minutes to flash a stock factory image and you still have to reinstall all your apps.

Just finished installing it, runs smooth and have so issues so far.

I'm waiting to get some hands-on time with one (haven't managed that yet), and to pull the trigger on the phone itself (Just Black). I'm grabbing a complete set of images - current stock, latest Q, current DU - so I can rotate among them during June and find one I can settle with, then set up a DU build shop so I can scratch that self-maintainer itch.

I assume flashing this Rom you'd lose the Pixel only features like Call Screen, Now Playing, Night Sight, etc?

If you do you can try the pixelify magisk module to restore those. I used that to enable call screen and other pixel exclusive features on my Moto g6

According to another poster in this thread, the ROM uses the stock camera. So I don't think you would lose nightsight or any of the other camera specific modes.

These AOSP ROMs are simply debloated optimized stock ROMs with various additional feature sets, anywhere from a few extra tweaks to massive customizations.
Feature set changes are listed on their site, but no comprehensive list for any device...

How to enable RCS Messaging (Work Around)

Hey all,
I found this article that walks you through how to enable RCS Messaging as a work around. You'll need Messages 5.2 (just sign up for the beta on the Play Store) and then you'll need to install Carrier Services and enable all permissions (if it's not already installed). Yeah I don't even have the chat features option in my messaging app haha. I have read it has something to do with the dual SIM future, and the only reason why the OnePlus 6T gets RCS is because the second son is disabled through software stock. Maybe custom rom is better also?

After you follow the activity launcher instructions, you should see this in your settings
