Thank you very much! This is exactly what I need! But why can't I find xiaomi12 on the official website of twrp?

I say again about this TWRP on Xiaomi 12-can't use backup or recovery. I wonder what happens next

Does Gpay work with bootloader unlocked and xiaomi.eu rom?
is the widevine L1 working?
is the hdr working
For installing updates, do we need to follow the dirty flash process via TWRP? I tried via the updater but the process simply restarts mobile and nothing happens.
New version of Xiaomi.eu ROM is out.
Question is how to updtae without losing data?
What's the problem? The test TWRP from mauronofrio can't decrypt data? Sry for the questions, I have not tested it yet

Yes, cant decrypt -> probably can't update.
Even if you do use OTG to read the .zip...
Will it overwrite to encrypted partitions? Won't that break the system?
Or
Will it boot fine - but will the updated ROM be able to read the probably still encrypted user data?

I have a Redmi note 8 with xiaomi.eu but I think I can help you. In order to update you flash the new zip. It just overwrites the system partition not the data. And you are still able to decrypt them. There is no problem I tried it. You will have to reflash magisk although. But in case anything goes wrong just format data and you will be fine.

There`s a new twrp that decrypts everything so no more problem anyway
is this twrp fully working? or does it have the same problems as mauronofrio's Twrp 3.3.1.0?

Super weird... it didnt work for me... flashing was successful
but it keeps rebooting to fastboot mode.
While doing format data, i did receive an error message "unable to find /metadata" is that normal?
EDIT: So what happen is, I did all over again with slightly different steps
1) i reflashed official firmware to revive my phone
2) Once I'm able to boot on official ROM, I flash TWRP
3) Format Data + restart TWRP
4) Copied ROM and flash Xiaomi EU rom
5) Restart to system immediately after flashing ROM. Managed to boot Xiaomi EU rom.
6) Reboot to recovery and flash magisk
7) Restart to system, set up, and done.

I think he did it with the miflash tool. I had to do it so because I stucked in Fastboot mode.
I also had a problem with metadata. I have recovery aleks.msk, can enter fastboot but nothing else. Miflash does not work, uploading the firmware via recovery does not get up.
In fastboot mode copy latest xiaomi.eu zip (not the fastboot, the regular one)to the phone and flash it in twrp - reboot to system

I'm assuming you are referring to root Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Not Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. Both are different phones.
I advice you, first flash TWRP recovery. Good news is Official TWRP is made for this device and you can find and download the recovery in Official TWRP app (download from PlayStore)
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 code name is Tucana (see the attached screenshot)
Once TWRP is flashed then root it via Magisk zip.

Question No Idea on How to Root Redmi 8A Dual

Hi All,
I am trying to root my Redmi 8A Dual and nothing works. I previously have rooted Samsung, sonny and even Lenovo phones but this one seems really tough. When getting into recovery mode, I see just reboot and contact MI Assistance. on developer settings, I am unable to do the Mi Unlock Status ( seriously no idea what that does). tried Magisk manager, King Root and MI unlocker web but not working. I want to degoogle my phone and make it AOSP ROM in it.
Can I get assistance here please?

Below are the following steps which helped me in successfully rooting my RM8A Dual-
1. Install Pitch Black recovery for RM8A Dual via fastboot.
2. Once installed recovery successfully extract your boot.img via recovery.(Many videos are out there to do it.)
3. Patch you boot.img on the website mentioned in previous posts.
4. Flash the patched IMG via recovery then reboot into recovery again and flash magisk and voila you're rooted.

VBmeta resulted into bootloop when I flashed it First time in olivewood phone
I had to Reflash the Miui Rom again from scratch to solve Bootloop issue ,

in redmi device there is some restrictions to bootloader and fastboot cannot access some partitions in your device bcz of insuficient drivers.
here sol:
flash custum recovery in your device
-through custum recovery you can flash gsi
-if your version of redmi 9a is 12.0.25-12.5.9 you cannot open custum recovery but
-you can get full access of fastboot through recovery by using this commands you will enter into custum recovery that is"fastboot reboot fastboot","adb reboot fastboot".this commands works after flashing custum recovery.
-if you want use custum even if your data lost flash custum recovery and wipe data.
