Did anyone succeed in getting the boot.img voor OOS 13.0?
After using Payload Dumper on the payload.bin file, only one file named System.img was extracted.
If you have more luck, can you please send me the boot.img file?

Ok, I didn't solved it but there're another methods:
- find stock firmware.
- make a dump using MTK droid tools and Sp Flash Tool
I was able to extract update.app, I don't have stuff like boot.img or recovery.img, instead I have RECOVERY.IMG RECOVERY_RAMDI.IMG (not a typo) and ERECOVERY_RAMDI.IMG (still not a typo
i also have KERNEL.IMG ans SYSTEM.IMG and more weird stuff
this was the Huawei fla-lx1 emui 8 firmware btw
should I just update using the sdcard and dload method? or the fastboot method? Currently on EMUI 9

Hey guys, received my OxygenOS update and I installed it without retaining my root. I want to re-root and I have extracted the payload.bin for the update. I can't find the vendor-boot.img file.

TWRP backups are stored as ( non conformant ) TAR files.

You need to extract the file with TWRP’s own flavor of TAR.
rename files to .tar and extract each file on its own
