TWRP backups are stored as ( non conformant ) TAR files.

Special tools?

You need to extract the file with TWRP’s own flavor of TAR.

rename files to .tar and extract each file on its own

Browse backup (.stg) file

Hi all
Is there any possibilty to browse the contents of the backup (stg) file generated via the Backup command in the MS active sync?
I have backed up my XDA before re-loading some software, now I want to rescue some of the files that were in the previous installation!!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

backup TA

when i backed up TA it is only showing rar file(size=71kb) but it is not showing .img file. any sloution???

Size seems ok, try opening it with 7-zip or WinRAR

MTD file is blank?

Hello, I was trying to get recovery.img from my Prestigio PAP7600DUO, but my MTD file seems blank. After cat command it displays:

Ok, I didn't solved it but there're another methods:
- find stock firmware.
- make a dump using MTK droid tools and Sp Flash Tool

Port TWRP for my device. Pls help!!

Hi! I have some problems about my recovery stock. It doesn't have the file named fstab.mt6739 (for my own chipset) and i found the another file named fstab.enableswap (it just have 2 files fstab: 1 is recovery.fstab and 1 is fstab.enableswap)? how could i do it? Help me pls!!! Other file is okay.
