Hi guys! This Rom is highly customizable like RiceDroid/CrDroid rom?
Does it matter which version of android you are coming from to flash this? I'm on stock android 11
Build RQ3A.210805.001.A1
This is what the phone came with. I heard it run badly on 11 and especially on 13 it runs like a bag of ****. I read that the pixel 4a only really works properly on android 10, and there are touch screen issues on the rest. Custom ROMs are not effected I hope?

I actually bought my wife a Pixel 4A since the camera is typically the most important aspect of a phone for her and this was the most cost-effective option at the time. She's been running hers on stock Android 13 and has expressed nothing but love for it. She inadvertently messed up the speaker and requested that we just replace it with another since she loved it so much. I decided to use the one with the messed up speaker as my backup device and now I love it so much that I'm seriously considering just getting another one to replace my OnePlus 6T as my daily driver.
So simply put, I haven't experienced any of those issues, neither has my wife who uses the hell out of her phone, and I actually love it so much, it may very well be my next daily driver depending on what the custom ROM support is like

Yes it's important.
For avoid bricking device, please upgrade to stock A13, then flash it rom.

Yeah, this rom equipped many customize, i think you will love it
Thank you for this rom. I was using stock A13 because of the lack of a high customizable rom like that for the P4A.

I was using Ricedroid, which is admittedly more customizable than this ROM, but this ROM seems more stable, and is definitely much more refined

Another question: this Rom have full customization navbar buttons? (long press action, double tap action, short press action ecc) like CrDroid and RiceDroid roms?
Unfortunately the Pixel 4A build doesn't seem to have those options

I've been using the rom for a couple of hours now and so far so good, I really like it.
But I did find a minor bug: if you have double tap to turn off enabled for the lockscreen, once you double tap, the display starts to turn off for just a few milliseconds before instantly turning back on, it does this at least 80% of the time making the feature useless. Hopefully it can be fixed in an update.
Edit: I also couldn't get reticker to work
still showing lte , please add full 4g support.

Yes, that was intended. Not all features have been added, as the Dev team intends to make the ROM more stable, before we add any Evo X features into it. So those are just placeholders for now. Features will be added soon.

Great ROM. Random reboots off screencast feature and camera doesn't work. Otherwise works well! ?
Great rom. A minor bug though.. sometimes the gestures stop working... And then the only way to revive them is to do a reboot.
Again it's a pretty good rom. It's a miracle that it contain so little bugs despite being the first build.

It looks like my quick settings panel and notifications are very slow to render, I can see a noticeable lag on pulling the notifications panel down, does anyone knows the reason, or maybe even a solution? If not, what can I do to help the developer to understand and fix the problem? This absolutely noticeable while entering some text in quick Rey notification area (I'm not sure what the exact name of it), looks like rendering or animation there is lagging hardly, disabling window animation in developer settings didn't help. Restarting system UI helps for a while, will monitor the situation and try to find the cause, all advices art appreciated.

I have written to the developer lot of times but no response. The rom is also buggy. So instead of wasting shhit there are better roms around who are updated regularly.

ROFL!! I aint wasting any of my precious time here. I have found the best rom and too much happy with it. Even stock pixel rom cannot beat it. Happy wasting your time behind such dead projects and keep waiting until redmi note 10 pro releases.
Btw the developer just releases his rom and forgets about the rest no matter you have to throw away your phone.

the truth I notice it as in most of the ROMS already published, I do not know if you remember the similar ROM of PIXEL but of Android9? It is already something similar in optimization and cleaning, the only bad thing is how I said that it has some problem with V4A and DolbyAtmos but the rest very well

the problem is not the V4A is that when you listen to the music with the volume at maximum it stops .... this rom is like the rom that has a limit or protection but nobody interested him because that was what took him away from gaining audience. ... take away that volume limit that spoils your rom

Awesome ROM, running it on my O8T flawlessly. Thank you for bringing it to my O7T. I'm having a bit of trouble though. flashed everything smoothly but when rebooting into the setup screen, touchscreen is unresponsive. I've read that some ROMS don't play nicely with replacement screens on certain devices which I've installed. Wondering if that could be the case here?

You need to follow the guide. Your Touchscreen not working is a huge indication of you being on the wrong firmware. These builds are based on oos12 kernel, fw, vendor, etc. Make sure you're coming from OOS 12 F.17 before continuing with the rest of the installation guide. Alternatively you can sideload the latest LOS 19.1 builds, reboot to bootloader and start with step 2 of my guide.

The ROM is really great. Thank you so much for it. There have been no major issue that face using it but I found only a small minor bug i.e the battery percentage doesn't update until i lock my screen. Please reply in case you want logs . Will be happy to help.

This is a common issue on the new oplus rebase. The guys over at lineage and I are currently looking into it.

I know but I still haven't received the update and I can't find any link to the full f.17 version
Clean flash on OnePlus 7T and the touch not working.
Nvm, I need to reflash F.17 and now it's working fine.
If you cannot use the touch, just install latest LOS that is shipped with OOS12, or wait for the next EvolutionX release.
Can I flash to this from PE13? Or should I revert to OOS first? Thanks

Its clearly mentioned that oos12 firmware is required. You either go to oos12 and then flash evo or go to the lineage os that's recently released with the latest firmware and then evo. Or for simplicity just wait till the dev releases the next update which will be shipped with the required firmware.

Yeah, my point being that there's a lot of talk of firmware files being shipped with ROMs in other threads. For example, I assume PE13 also requires the OOS12 base (which I have already flashed), therefore potentially negating the requirement to flash again as I likely already have the BLOBs from 12 installed.
My question still stands, I ask these questions as a veteran tweaker who has used and developed for other devices with more traditional recoveries. With this device, do I need to fastboot sideload OOS12 first (From PE13...) and THEN load EvoX? I don't need simplicity, I need clarity. But thanks for trying.

No sir, If you already have oos12 blobs on both slots you can directly flash evo.

I'm in the same situation as you and I'm going to try today to go directly from PE 13 to Evolution 13
If you do the same just make sure you use "copy-partitions-20210323_1922.zip" to make sure both slots have the same firmware.

buddy check out the new update released today. It contains the required firmware files, so just go and flash it normally don't care about the firmware.

2. Download your desired recovery for your device [Recommended Evolution X boot.img] boot_QPR3.img
3. Download vendor_boot.img vendor_boot_QPR3.img
4. Flash boot.img and vendor_boot.img and make sure you're on latest A13 firmware.
5. FORMAT data. (Requires full backup of internal storage)
6. Reboot into recovery.
7. Apply update > Apply from ADB [IF using Evolution X boot.img]
8. Flash the ROM (adb sideload rom.zip) [IF using Evolution X boot.img]
9. Reboot to System and #KeepEvolving

A month ago I tried an unofficial evox build and noticed a small problem in recent apps. I'll try to explain it, sorry for my English.
1. launch Setting app
2. go to Network and Internet
2. swipe to home
3. swipe to recents app
4. launch Setting app
5. swipe to back in Setting app
6. quickly swipe to recents app
7. now you have wrong preview of Setting app in recents app
I had this problem on custom roms (unofficial evox, crdroid 8.14.) even when step 6 was done slowly. So i think the problem is custom launcher.
Now I'm on LOS 20, where this problem only occurs if step 6 is done quickly, the same problem was on the stock rom.
Can anyone check if this problem is also here? Thanks.
Edit: I know I can't describe it, so I attach a gif. The application Setting is only an example, the problem is with every application.

Had it on a 7.6.1 unofficial build, i'm on a 7.8 unofficial build right now and I don't have this issue :/
You can just disable it, it's not really system critical, it controls the high brightness mode (added to pixels in a QPR in 2019 or 2020 I think). I just straight up uninstalled it via ADB and it hadn't caused any problems or changed anything really...

Try disabling any styles you might have applied on QS via The Evolver. I don't have any noticeable lag with no styles applied

PE+ is more stable and less customize but i have Cts fail issue when root with magisk on the lastest build . I was use Safety net fix but it not working. EvoX working good with magisk 26.1.
Should we flash vendor_boot and boot one after another?, Or alone Vendor_boot is fine?
How we supposed to flash a customer recovery when there is not one for Android 13
