Question Saving live/motion/dynamic photos as videos - Xiaomi Mix Fold 2

Greetings,
I was pleased to see the Mix Fold 2 does indeed have live photos as an option (the little square with triangle button on the camera). However, I can't see any way to save or export these little mini videos other than using the screen recorder.
Is anyone aware of a method to actually utilize these motion photos?

To answer my own question, backing up photos to Google Photos uploads the short video, which can then be exported back to the phone as an mp4.

Desperately need help!!! Photos and Videos Tab problem

Please help.
Ok heres what happening.
In a normal scenario, when you are at the Photos and Videos TF3D tab, you can see the pics and videos that you taken. For eg, you took 3 pics and 2 videos and another 3 pics. So the first 3 pics should be in order of 1/8, 2/8, 3/8.
Then the next 2 vids are 4/8, 5/8 and so on. Right?
But I have encounter this problem,
When I'm at the Photos and Videos tab, while the pic is the first picture, its showing correctly at 1/8, BUT
when I'm nearing the video, it skipped the video and the total files become 6, instead of the initial 8. Get what I mean? And at this point in time, when I flick the picture to the next picture, no video files were displayed and it seems like I only have 5 picture files in it. But upon going to the Album view, my videos are STILL THERE!
I sincerely hope I can get some help here as this is driving me crazy....
anyone, please?

What happened to SNAP MOVIE? Any recommended apps that can replace this feature?

I currently use my G6+ to do all my video recording work for my YouTube channel. I fell in love with the snap movie mode in the video camera options because it let me record snippets throughout the day and save them all into a short video file so later I can edit on my computer. I have searched and searched and cannot find an app in the play store that can do this. Almost all video apps can record and pause but the moment you close the app or go to home screen or screen off, the current video is automatically saved as a video file and next time you use the app it starts a new video. I don't want 70 different video clips to edit each day, I want an app that can start and stop at the press of a button and keep those recordings in the same video timeline until I am finished to where I can then save as a final video. I really would like to upgrade to the G7 or V35 but from what I understand the snap movie feature was removed.
My reason for using LG phones is the wide angle camera and Snap Movie.
Is it possible to get this feature back with a newer device? Anyone know of an app that can do what I am asking?
Thanks again for the help!

Live photo option for Pixel 3? In dire need!!! Please help! with sound!

Hi,
First off just want to say I am a long time XDA fan from way back to windows mobile and I am in a bit of a crisis state currently. I have always been anti apple and drank the android phone coolaid forever but I am struggling currently because I have a very strong desire for the live photo feature. (Video before and after every picture I take WITH audio) I know the pixels have motion photo and all that but without sound it is so much less. I have found that camera MX supports this but google photos doesn't detect the live photo aspect of the picture to upload it.
Everyone around me thinks I am going crazy causing I am thinking of putting up with all the things I hate about apple just for the live photo feature. The camera is my number one used item on the phone so that is why I would think of switching. I am a Dad of 3 and love these short videos and take way to may pictures.
Is anyone aware of a way to get google photos to detect camera MX's live shots? Or get audio on google motion photos? Or some other app that can do this?
Not sure if this is posted in the right spot so mods please move if needed...

Question Lightroom / Google photos automation help.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Snapdragon.
I would not consider myself professional and I have no intention of selling photos, I just like Lightroom's Lens Correction filter. My main camera has some pretty bad distortion on the edges and LR does a good job fixing it up.
My goal is to take a photo, have the distortion corrected, and then have that file in Google Photos (Family sharing, already paid for cloud storage, etc).
Here's my current workflow.
Shoot in RAW using Samsung Pro Raw app.
Open Lightroom. It automatically imports RAW, and automatically applies the Lens Correction filter.
Select the photo and Save to Device.
Open up Google photos.
That's a lot of steps. Is there any way to set up Lightroom to automatically save / export photos it imports? Ideally steps 2 + 3 would be automated. Can Bixby routines do anything like this?
Thanks.
You could try the latest version of Routines+, part of the Good Lock package. If you don't have GoodLock available in your country there are alternatives to download like FineLock or NiceLock and get the modules from APKMirror.
The Routines+ have now a new addition called Touch Macro. I'll leave a description video below but you can find lots on youtube, it might help you

Question Problem exporting slowed down videos

Hello,
When I shoot video with slow motion option in original camera app, then I go to google photo app, I choose slow motion effect in and out, but when I export on whatsapp or instagram or anything else, it's the whole video that is slowed down... is that normal?
(looking for it seems to me that this is a problem that goes back to pixel 2 already...)
Download it to your phone first and then send it
I had a problem the other week where two short videos I sent my brother through Google Photos continued to say "processing" for him each time he checked for over a week or more. We gave up and they weren't important enough to bother just using Google Drive or any other way.
