Hi all
Sorry if I've missed something while searching, but is there any way to increase the bluetooth and/or headphone volume without installing something like viper? I have seen some magisk modules for OP6 and OP7 but nothing specific to this device. Unlocked BL, magisk rooted, Android 11.
TIA

The Question:
Hello everybody!
Does anyone know of any other way to get 30 volume steps, or to somehow fine-tune the volume slider?
The rest of the post:
I got a OP6 yesterday, I've just successfylly unlocked bootloader and rooted etc. I'm on 9.0.2, the phone was already upgraded when I got it so I had no chance to stay on Oreo.
Now I'm looking for a way to get 30 volume steps for media, instead of the usual 15.
- Back in the olden days I used Xposed and VolumeSteps+, but neither Xposed or VolumeSteps+ seem to work with OP6 on Android Pie. Tried installing it but no luck. It seems that some people have gotten it to work on Oreo with some workarounds. (Maybe a downgrade would be needed for me..)
- I also saw the Magisk module Volume Steps Increase, but that doesn't seem to work with Oneplus 6 at all. Tried installing it, no luck.
Thanks in advance!

THE UPDATE:
Gosh! I also have 30 steps!
Erhm. How did this happen? Did I miss this stock-feature? I kinda just assumed that it was 15 steps, but didn't check before starting to root etc.
Or could it be from flashing blu-kernel?
*confused*
(I run 9.0.2 with blu-kernel and blu-recovery.)
I actually have 30 steps but haven't applied any mods besides ex kernel.

If you have root, you can write this two lines in the build.prop:
ro.config.vc_call_vol_steps=xx
ro.config.media_vol_steps=xx
Where xx = steps you need
First one for call speaker vol.
Second for media vol.
P.S. This will work on any ROM.
Haha! I just realized I also have 30 steps! I was stock 9.0.0 then updated to 9.0.2 and rooted with magisk and twrp and I literally just realized haha! (Stock kernal btw)
Hello everyone,
I just got a 1+6 after my 1+5 got stolen as well as my 1+3 few weeks later (bad luck ikr), and I want to install Viper4Android for the first time, never got it on any device.
I saw a post saying that version 1.7.4 is working on latest OOS but can't seem to find it in magisk, only shows up 2 versions which do not match
Anyone can direct me to a place I can find info on how to install it and possibly use it ?
Also, is it just a simple app that you can remove and be back to stock or does it affect drivers of some kind ?
Cheers
The only Viper4Android that I found to work consistently with minimal effort is the one included in the xXx NoLimits Magisk ROM. With that ROM as soon as you remove it as a Magisk module, you're back to stock and it doesn't affect the drivers at all. Another nice thing is that he includes a couple of Viper profiles to get you started.
I'm with the same problem, i've tried the ones in magisk but they always crop my WhatsApp audios and a lot of others things, If anyone can direct me tio with the module, i'd like a lot

Hi,
This is a question to all of the other 5G model owners, or anyone with the knowledge. Apologies if it sounds silly or it's been answered elsewhere before.
I tried to root my phone a couple of weeks ago with Magisk and encountered a reboot everytime my phone loaded up. This also happens when I install a kernel. I've tried installing Magisk by itself and not a kernel and it still happens.
Have any other owners had any success in doing either of these?
Many thanks!
So today I rooted my phone (A50) with Magisk and TWRP, but whenever I install audio related things like A.R.I.S.E or Viper4Android FX, when I boot again and unlock, the phone just Re-Locks itself! And I dunno what's going on. I didn't do anything special, on some Modules like BusyBox I had no problems, for now only audio related things. Help?
Hi,
ive tried to root my Galaxy S10 via Magisk. Everything worked just fine, i patched the AP file thrue Magisk, istalled via ODIN and started the device like mentioned in the manuals. When i started the device the Magisk App appeared after some seconds, i pressed install and it installed. Now comes the strange thing. When i start the app it still seems like there is no root whatsoever. It doesnt ask me for anything else and it looks just like the same as before.
Does anyone know what to do?
thanks for your help in adcance
Don't nail me but I believe one must patch recovery and boot into recovery mode all the time. I know there was NEMESIS kernel that could boot straight into Magisk. also on github for the S10e issues there are some replies from dev to patch boot.img, which is contradictory to Magisk installation guide, so I don't know for sure.
