I have never exported my text messages from my Note 8. It has 8 gigs of messages. I want to save them on my Windows 10 PC and be able to save them like they were on my Note 8. What software can I Buy?
I thought of buying Droid Central for $30 ! I want to maker it simple and save my complete messages on the PC and be able to delete the messages on the phone to free up memory space on the 64 Gig Note. I kind of like using my text messages as a Journal with particular people.

Dear friends i am very much new to this forum and android.
i s have shifted from Nokia so few things I really miss about that and copy and paste message into phone memory for forwarding to some one some other time is one of them.
I Nokia we had a option to paste any text in Nokia communication center and then save it as message for later use and import in phone to use as template or something like this. I have surfed lot and did not find any suitable pc suite or software to do this so I figured out a method to import new messages to phone memory or inbox without having phone attached or saved or backed up from nokia pc suite.
First of all you should have following softwares
For Pc
1. My phone Explorer
2. ABC Amber nokia converter
3. Microsoft Excel
For Phone
1. Import Sms(Full Version)
Method
Here is step by step process with images
1. Open My phone Explorer and click on the message>and draft
2. Then click on the new message icon on the tool bar like this
After this copy your text and save it as draft
Now open Message windows of My phone explorer and right click the selected message to save/ Export it
Now export/ Save the selected message in nokia message format *.VMG format
Now you have to open ABC Amber Nokia converter and open the folder containing *.VMG nokia message files like this
And save then In CSV Format like below
After that open that message file in Microsoft Excel and edit the message like delete first three Columns and first row
Now make Arrangement of the columns like this so that I should look like Nokia CSV format to import in Android
Now please remember write sms in first column, in second column write submit, in third keep empty and fourth is for the no from where you have received message so keep it empty as well and in 5th keep empty and in sixth write date as “ yyyy.mm.dd HH:mm, seventh is empty and eighth is message body
After that save that CSv message, any warning click yes
Now put that message file onto sd card of your mobile
Open “SMS Importer(ful version)” and give path of your file
Now clock menu and click “preview and import” on phone menu
Its done message will be in your inbox
sorry for the screen shots you can download the whole procedure in doc format from address below

Hello I have both Android and iPhone. I want to transfer one of my conversations on my iPhone (please don't ask me why). Do you know how I can do that? I tried searching already on google but I can't find any solutions. Backuptrans and Mobiletrans is so expensive for just 600+ messages.
Apple is going to release new app that helps users to switch from Android to iOS. I don't know if it has Messages sending option, but you need to wait for it: http://www.theverge.com/2015/6/8/8748113/apple-made-an-android-app-for-switchers
How to Transfer SMS from Android to iPhone
You've got tired of Android and ready to make the switch to iPhone. It is certainly a hassle to leave behind your important text messages when move to the new iPhone 6, 6 Plus, or 5S. To transfer text messages from Android to iPhone, you'll make sure that you have a Windows PC, two USB cables, and a Mobile Transfer tool, like Jihosoft Phone Transfer. Use USB cables to connect your Android and iPhone to the PC and the phone transfer tool will transfer text messages, contacts, calendar, photos, videos, music and other data from Android to iPhone.

Yes. You can download a program called Backuptrans iPhone WhatsApp to Android Transfer to help. It lets you migrate and merge whatsapp chats from iPhone to Android. Transferring Viber chats is also supported. Just check the following tutorial:
Transfer WhatsApp Chat Histoy to Galaxy S7/S7 Edge from iPhone or Android.
Hope it helps.

If i want to transfer other files from Samsung to computer . such as some messages ,photos ,can i use this tool ?
I googled about methods to export more than 40 000 messages. All I found were apps that you need to pay in order to export chats and some app that works with decrypting WhatsApp backup file. Problem is that that program and all instructions are old, and working for "mgstore.db.crypt12" and lower versions, and current WhatsApp have "crypt14".
So is there any way to export WHOLE chat in some readable format or I must give up?
Phone is Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, running Android 10 based MIUI Global 12.5.1.
It's a chat with my current gf that is years and years long (never deleted WhatsApp chat history), and I wanted to present as a gift our first-ever convo. If there is some way great, if not I can live without it. Thanks!
As Whatsapp states here 40,000 msg is maximum
