Question Long boot time of head unit ums512_1h10_natv - FYT Android Head Units

Since recently my sprd ums512_1h10_natv every time I start the car - restarts twice!
The first time when I turn on the ignition (contact - first key joint), and the second time when I start the engine (second key joint).
Has anyone had a case like this and how did they solve it?
Already update the firmware by 2023-03-08__FYT7862_FW_MD_EDITION_WITH_MAINSERVICE_V1
Thanks in advance for your help!

You have a weak battery. When starting the engine it draws too much power from your battery making the voltage too low to support your unit.
Go to your garage and have your battery checked.

[Q] HTC TD2 Power On-Off - Virus?

My TD2 keeps wanting to turn off - the power off screen comes up (do you want to turn off your device?). If I select yes, it shuts down and immediately restarts. If I select no, it pops up again within a few minutes.
The device doesn't respond to the power button. I can't perform a hard reset, soft reset works OK, but problem continues. IF left sitting, the phone goes to sleep but wakes up soon after and the power dialog comes up again. If I remove and replace the battery, device starts OK but problem continues.
It may be coincidence, but this started hapenning the day after I (stupidly) opened a strange MMS and tried to play the attached "video" - which didn't play.
Haven't tried to reflash ROM - not sure what ROM I should be looking for. Current ROM version is 2.31.841.6 (64646) WWE. Should I just look for that? (This is a Telstra TD2 that I have had for bout a year - bought online)
Thanks.

HA 10.2" MTCD black screen -- with flowers...

So I started my CX-5 about an hour ago to be greeted by a black screen full of flowers. Literally. No idea why. This happened one other time, and it seems as though once it powered completely down, it comes back up fine. I have the timeout at 2hrs, so I have to wait quite a while to see if it's going to be ok.
I tried to reboot the unit by holding the reset button down, but all it does is put it to sleep. Actually, a short press caused it to mute (literally displays 'mute' on the display), and a long press puts it to sleep. Tried the press it till it goes off then release, then press again -- doesn't do anything but wake the unit up again.
The steering wheel controls all work fine. When I parked it last night I had the radio playing, and it was still playing when it started with the black screen. Volume and fwd-rev buttons on the SWC work fine. None of the capacitive buttons on the LCD do anything except home and power. Power puts it to sleep. Home displays the launcher screen (Car Launcher Pro).
If I press any of the app buttons in car launcher, they send me back to the black screen. Pressing the speed in the launcher switches to the trip display like it should.
Anyone ever seen this?
Anyone know how to actually reboot the thing short of pulling the fuse (if that would even work)?
The car has resistive steering wheel controls and *also* has a canbus decoder to tell the Bose amp what to go do with itself. I didn't actually have to use the KEY1 or KEY2 - I assume that the Mazda ISO adapter that they sent has this built in but I dunno.
Running MCU MTCD HA version 1.81
Thanks for any help...
That's happened to my MTCD a couple of times and seems to be when Android's user interface hasn't loaded properly for some reason.
Pushing a paperclip into the reset hole until it reboots normally fixes it for me.

Reboot with a paperclip as other guy pointed.
Your can bus not only plays with Bose amp....it gives you the reverse signal for the Camera as it is coded by can bus.
You have nothing to do with cables as they are properly wired for your installation

I have tried the paperclip method. All it does is put the thing to sleep. Doesn't matter if I hold it for 5 seconds or a full minute the result is the same.
the flowers thing is one of the default wallpapers
Hi !, try this......

this video shows how to enter recovery, you need to re-flash the firmware one in the recovery.
Good luck

@DudeInMyrtleBeach You have the same Head Unit as mine. How is it now? I have not updated mine yet. Can you update me on how your car radio is right now?

@Sylvan15 -- I had the flower screen one more time after I did the firmware upgrade, but I was able to reboot with a paper clip and I have not had an issue since.
Thanks

I got the same screen in my HU but only when car launcher is installed. If you remove the launcher that screen will not show again. Maybe is an issue with the car launcher with the units. I am using an MX (witson) version 1.93
I thought it might be car launcher. I haven't had any issues in quite a while though.

Fiat Ducato RockChip PX3 Android 7.1.2,

Please help! I have the main unit for Fiat Ducato RockChip PX3 Android 7.1.2, MTCD_MX_V2.56_1. The setting allows you to set the "OFF delay time at ACC OFF". The settings do not work and the device turns off immediately. I tried to install different ROMs and different MTCDs, but it turns off the device whenever the ignition key is turned (off). Thanks

The delay time means the time before a complete shutdown. It's only meant for a faster start when your entering the vehicle within the time that you have set
When I set any value, the device switches off immediately and the startup takes approx minute.
You must have a wiring connection problem.

Honda Audio Navigation Unit stuck on Boot-Loop

Hi,
This is my first post on this forum and i am hoping members here will help me solve my issue. I have a Honda HR-V 2016 LX that came with a non android unit. I later purchased a Honda Navi unit from ebay UK that was pulled from a Honda HR-V 2017. The unit worked fine and later I downgraded to RC6 firmware so that I could install additional software from CMdroid. The problem started when i tried to change the skin through system settings, the unit gave a notification that system will restart and since then it is in continuous boot loop. Now this is what i have done till now :
a. disconnected battery for over 15 minutes. No change
b. tried to boot the system through USB with firmware RC6, It updated fine with progress bar and at the end got the message update successful and USB can be disconnected but at restart it still remained in that loop.
c. Again booted with USB having RC8 successfully but no luck
I feel that I need to do a factory reset to get my audio working again but unfortunately it is not booting up to the point that soft keys get illuminated. The reverse screens powers up but without guidelines. I don't want to lose my unit. Please help me recover it.
Regards
Members I need help here. Please some one suggest me a solution to get my audio unit working again. Today I reinstalled the firmware and it went smooth but on restart the system continues to reboot.
Hi Panther3, did you ever get to the bottom of this, the same thing has just happened to mine?

I actually have a 2nd honda navigation unit that has this issue... Been trying to work on it but no luck till now...
So I am curious if someone manages to make it work ^^
here is the official solution from the manual... :
Some units might experience "H screen stuck on"
symptom. Initially the software update will not be
possible when the unit is "H screen stuck on". You will
need to follow these steps before attempting the
update:
• When unit is in fail mode "H screen stuck on",
Press and hold the Power and Day Night button at
the same time for five seconds.
Note: Wait until the loading circle appears on the
screen and then press the Power & Day Night
button.
After five seconds the unit will switch into the
reboot mode, then the unit will do a file check
during rebooting. Rebooting will take
approximately two and a half minutes.
• Now continue with software update procedure.
Note: The "H screen stuck on" symptom can be
caused by software or a hardware failure. In case of
a hardware failure, recovering is not possible and a
new RM unit is necessary.

Android Car, need to be restarted every key on

I have my android in car, and im selling android stereo to clients!
They ask me they want when they turn off the key and turn it on again after few seconds they need the android to be restarted!
Because the current mode is: when they turn off the car key for 2 - 5 hours, the android still backed up the data in the last state, but they want to restart the android for every key TURNED OFF & ON!
I have an android, i entered to the sleep option; i saw sleep time: DO NOT SLEP - 1 DAY DELAYED - 2 DAYS DELAYED - 3 DAYS DELAYED!
i choosed the DO NOT SLEEP mode, and i saw its working but im not sure if it working correctly or not!
Because the meaning say's: DO NOT SLEEP, it mean the car android will still 'ON' forever
this should help to power on on start.
Code:
fastboot oem off-mode-charge 0
for shutdown you can use Macrodroid.

Please can you explain more?
The android head unit is not rooted.
How to run the command?
I want for every key off, the android restarted automatically, i dont need it to keep sync. The last data time.
Macrodroid is just one of these automation apps, just do a research.

Thanks for your reply,
But how the 'Macrodroid' helps me to turn off the android for every engine off' ?
1) But the problem, i think the macro app cannot detect the key if it turned the engine or not !
2) You forget that if i turn on the key , the optical wires also will stop working , (and here the head unit will be turned off automatically because there is no light into the car)
of course you need power line of clamp 15
