Question TWRP - Xiaomi 13

Hello. I own a Xiaomi 12 and would like to buy a Xiaomi 13 later. I have a problem in TWRP on my phone, can't backup the whole phone. A yellow message will appear there that it is not possible to back up the internal storage, including apk, video, music. What is your experience with backing up Xiaomi13 in TWRP. Is there also a backup issue? Thanks for the answers.

I believe you can backup the internal storage (/sdcard) manually.

Hello. But I don't know how to manually. Any guidance. Thanks

You can just connect your phone to the computer and copy the files.

Hello @Benoni1
kindly read the manual for TWRP and understand that Internal Storage /sdcard is not included in TWRP backup. That is especially important for phones with no MicroSD Card slot, where the backup files are stored in Internal Storage. This is done intentionally and no misconception, therefore no TWRP developer will change that for you.

After backup is created, you can always copy files to PC as suggested.
Code:
adb pull -a /sdcard
Please do not cross-post the same question multiple times, this is against the forum rules you have been already warned.

I had the same problem because my external SD card was too small. I deleted several video files and freed up space. Now it woks fine. I try to keep two backups, then delete the oldest one just before backing up again.

[Q] Get rom oncsd card but phone doesn't work

Im running cm10 unofficial rom and I downloaded a LCD resolution thing and changed it and clicked reboot it wouldn't reboot so I tried reflashing my rom the thing is my rom isn't on the sd card anymore since I deleted it, please help!!!!
Can I get another sd card and put the rom on there, transfer to my phone and flash the rom and then turn off phone and put my old sd card?
^ I don't think I can do the above since that means I have to actually get into my phone to download Clockwork Mod Recovery.
Please help, I'm using cm10 rom and I downloaded a lcd resolution app, it reboot my phone but it wouldn't load, now I have to flash the rom again so that I
can use my phone again, but my rom isn't on the sd card, what do I do?
I cleared dlavik cache, cache, and mount sd card or something like that. Help please!
Instead of making many threads for each of your problems, you should just make one and list all your problems there.
You should always understand the process before you begin in the first place.
You can keep your old sdcard. Just boot into recovery, mount usb storage, copy your rom from the computer to the sdcard, unmount usb storage, and flash the rom.

Do you mean mount usb storage from advanced? When I plug in my phone to pc, it says device driver not installed etc.
But the thing is I was just testing and when I click install zip from sd card, I don't see my sdcard/ folders because I think I somehow wiped my sd card? Not sure.
And I also get E: Bad boot message "recovery"
Help! It's my sister's phone.

before I used the backup function from clockworkmod recovery, I can delete the recovery img to free up all the 162mb that it used, but I don't know the location cwm saved the backup, where is it? so i can delete it

Please do some research before diving into something like this. Look under the clockworkmod folder on your sdcard.

As sweetnsour has mentioned, please search as everything you are posting in this thread has been beaten to death in these forums. We here at XDA insist on using the sites search function, with numerous tries, before creating threads. Since you are new here, and obviously using a P500 or variant, I'd like to point you to the LG Optimus One FAQ. sweetnsour also owns a rather informative thread that you may find of interest as well.
Okay, I fixed it, thank you very much sweetnsour.
I now have a problem, a friend of mine texted me and their number isn't saved, how do i save it from a text message instead of manually adding to contact?

I don't see that
You should also be able to save to message senders info by long pressing on the message in the message list and selecting Add to Contacts. This is going to vary slightly between Android versions and messaging apps.
For all the statements you quoted, it is what it is. We've both been around here for a while. I myself have answered these questions numerous times in various threads. In any case, I'm not here to argue, but it is part of my responsibility to remind others of the rules and regulations and to what XDA expects from it's members.

[Completed] SD card empty in TWRP recovery

My Xperia Z3 runs Cyanogenmod 12. I've just installed TWRP recovery and I want to restore a backup I have on my SD card. When I click on "Restore" then "SD card", there are no files in there, its just blank. How can I restore the firmware backup which I have on the SD card?
Hi. XDA Assist should not be the place you go to first to get your questions answered. Our job is to point you in the right direction. We are not a technical support site. I see you've used XDA Assist many times. The best place to get help is here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3. Please read many of the threads there and learn as much as you can about your device before doing anything to it. Part of the fun and responsibility is learning about your device. I'm going to close this thread.

[Completed] TWRP not seeing External Storage

Hello All. I’ve run into an issue with my new Moto G4+. I rooted the phone a couple of weeks ago and all was well with that. I downloaded the AOKP rom last Friday and was going to flash it over the weekend. To my surprise, TWRP does no see my external SD card so I can’t do a backup. The internal storage does not have enough space to backup. I have the 16gb model. I can see/use the SD card with no problem when the phone is running. I’ve searched the forums for a solution, but the only thing I’ve found is to format the SD card as internal storage. However, folks seem to be really, really divided on this solution. I really want to flash AOKP, but I need to do a Nandroid backup first. I tried doing an on-line backup with the TWRP app, but it doesn’t provide me with an MD5 for verification. Any help with getting TWRP in recovery mode to see the SD card would be greatly appreciated. TWRP file manager and terminal allow me to see the card (sdcard1 is its name in TWRP recovery), but it does not show up for "select storage" or "mount" options.
Thanks.

Is my phone doomed? (j2 prime messed up by link2sd plus)

Hi Guys!
I need some serious help here.
I have rooted my phone. I bought and installed the link2sd plus app to enable obb to be transferred to sd card. I transferred the obb of Rules of Survival and it asked to reboot. I rebooted the phone and when it turned it back on it went to black screen showing 0% battery then it loaded to the main screen with an error saying Process system isn't responding. I have chosen to wait and even pressed on OK. The worst part of it, is that the phone does not recognize the sd card. I tried to reformat it in several ways through the phone and computer and still no luck. The computer and other phones would recognize the sd but not my phone. I tried to check the camera and it would also give me an error to turn off usb storage using camera. I pressed ok then it would say device maintenance has stopped.
By the way, I might have also uninstalled a few default apps using link2sd as well...
Is my phone doomed?
I hope you can help me guys!

With that stated...
I did locate the following thread post that has some conversations regarding the Link2SD. Hopefully it will help you out.
