Hey i m using this rom from last 3 months, last night someone took control of my device, and wanted to stole my data, replied to my personal messages, is this why you develop these roms to stole data and sale it.??
Well, this device I sure do enjoy with magisk. And being rooted alone is a blessing, be it a small one.
I am surprised though no development to speak of is seen. The only problem with the GSI's I found, is the no cell service/data/messages deal...
If you look in phone info in the MMI, IT DOES read the sim card and knows the provider as well as the number.. though I have found a fix yet to get the cell service running.
I personally am looking for a stripped down ROM.
Maybe some of you who have discovered some tips, mod's, and the like... please share here and see if we can make this device more pleasing.
Ok I'm stepping off my soapbox. Peace.
TTFN.
@kevinchristopherson I've changed the prefix of your thread from "Development" to "General" as the thread didn't qualify for the first one. Please don't change it again and read the sticked guidances prior to your next posting. Thanks very much for your cooperation!

Spot on Kevin !! My first Motorola and nothing to complain of cept this is 1 of the yeast active forums I've seen for Motorola
Why?
guess I'll have to go find some generic mod's that will work with this phone
There's always magisk mod's along with LSPosed
Let me think and get back here
IS THERE ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS FOUND ANYTHING ? That's works with our device
Thereare so many different solutions to the no sim problem with gsi I guess I will try them one at a time

How to get information about any smartphone display to purchase proper spare parts?
Hi, I would like to repair some secondhand smartphones, mainly for own use but I'm struggling how to find information about the lcd display and in addition where to get the right spare parts. For example it's relatively easy to find "original"...

Bud, it isn't 'trolling' to point out that you are supposed to try to find the answers and solve your issues yourself before posting.
This is a long-standing principle on XDA - which unfortunately for some reason seems to be getting lost on new members - and for a 'senior member' like yourself, you should know better.
You could have easily answered your own question - but instead you posted, unnecessarily cluttering the thread. And, on top of that, you are hardly in a position to accuse anyone of being condescending or trolling based on your last reply.

*Sigh* This is what XDA has become, apparently - a place for people to post basic questions like this instead of just figuring things out themselves, or Googling the answer...

Affirmative, XDA has become a place where everybody, even noobs, get support by others - that's the spirit of XDA besides that XDA still remains a platform by developers for developers. Are you a developer? I see you're a long time member, something that is highly appreciated, and I hope you continue to stay for many years.
Certainly, we require our members to first search prior to posting but even I get so many pop-ups after a search that are confusing that I just tolorate any serious post and question. Doesn't now more than 11 million registered members prove that this is the right way?
I hope we, you and all can find a compromise and agree: If you don't like a post, simply ignore it unless the post violates the rules but in such a case only report the post without any reply and comment and let us do our "job". Consider to add the author of the post to your ignore list. Accept that it's the threadowner's privilege to assess if a post is cluttering his thread or has to be removed as off-topic.
Thanks for listening to me and your cooperation!

Understood, agreed, and will do, Oswald! Clearly I let my frustration with that kind of post get the better of me. My apologies to OtisFeelgood, and I will follow your direction going forward. Thank you, and best regards.
Hello everybody, I just bought my Galaxy Watch 4 but I am very jealous of Toy Story Apple's watchfaces so I created mine downloading these videos and converting them into gifs.
I use them together so they change every time you tap or unlock the screen.
Hope you like them.
You can find the original video and others two here: https://www.youtube.com/user/toystorysvideos/videos
