Finger print opition is hidden from security

I have a problem with my pixel 2
That no option for use finger print and it's completely hidden from sittings
I don't know if it a hardware problem or software
Any help please

This happened to my lg G6 too. I'll keep an eye on this thread...

So you don't even see the option for fingerprint? See my screen shot.
Have you tried using the factory image for your current security update to see if it's a software issue?

A little more info on your setup would be helpful. Are you bl unlocked, rooted etc.

It's no finger print
I try ota by adb recovery but same

And I'm on stock and locked bootloader

I think all you can do at this point is request a replacement. I remember on the 5X I was able to go in and clear cache in recovery but I think they took that option away on the Pixel /2. Good luck, I hope you get a good one.

It's already dirty, so it can't be locked back in.
Lock it up and downgrade it with a QFIL.

If the same zui13 version is lower than the original version, it won't lock
Only the original version will be locked again.
I just wanted to see how zui13 looked and come down again, but it's a catastrophe.
Personally, I liked zui12 better,
I was forced to stay in zui13.
I hope it's a good post for those of you who are still in zui12.

I've re-upgraded to 13.0.430. However, relocking still result in the same device is corrupt message.
How do you go back to the original version (13.0.430, I assume) from zui 12?

Oneplus 7 Pro Widevine in L3 even though my bootloader is LOCKED

Hi Does anyone have a fix for OP7 Pro where the bootloader is in L3 and wants to go back to L1?
I have read on many sources across Reddit and XDA forums about locker the bootloader however my fastboot says my device is locked (i also do not remember doing anything to unlock the bootloader)
Any help would be appreciated. Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, i have looked but could not locate and i have been trying for months. (https://community.oneplus.com/thread?id=1574423) is my post to oneplus but no one got back to me.

Flash with MSM 11.0.5.1 and after flash unlock the bootloader again.
Currently it´s not possible to unlock the bootloader in A12

Apologies, I have flashed before but not as knowledgeable. would flashing to unlock allow access to L1 again or am I flashing to relock the fastboot?

Hey guys i have 8t tmobile with global rom installed.. i am facing issue of bootloader relock i even received bootloader token from tmobile but still unable to lock it.. (i had enabled bootloader on oos11 it didn't require unlock token)
And one more question do we need to flash token every time we unlock/relock bootloader or only once is required?

As far as i know:
1. Token is only needed for T-mobile devices.
Converted devices can be unlocked without token.
2. For locking bootloader look at this thread

Disclaimer, I don't think I have any idea what I'm doing, so please be patient.
I'm not sure if my phone is updating correctly it says that the android security update is 2022-02-01. surely there has to a a newer update than this ?
Is there a simple way to get my phone to update ? I don't care about features or anything like that I just wanted to be safe

yea, u can download mi flash, download latest fastboot and flash it to your phone. remember: that will reset your phone so make the backup of your files. if you need more help write to me, I will be happy to help you step by step how to do it.

Unlock bootloader, download latest Global rom, flash it, lock bootloader.
If you never unlocked the bootloader you must wait 1 week.

I recently set my region to "Poland" to get MIUI 13.0.6 and MIUI 14.0.something. But keep in mind that I am in europe, so I use the EEA/TJUEUXM stock ROM.

After flashing an other rom and then relock the bootloader, you will brick your phone

If it's stock ROM you can lock it even if it's from another region, what are you talking about?
