I recently purchased this tablet and was unable to update to Android 12 until I factory reset the device using the Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant utility. I'm just going to document the basic steps so far but will try and circle back with a more detailed guide. I just wanted to put this out here in case anyone else was stuck like me - Lenovo Support was incorrectly telling me that Android 11 was the version I was stuck with until another OTA update was released, but this is not the case.
If you run into this issue and are stuck on Android 11 being told that there are no additional updates simply download the recovery utility available at this URL Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant Select the option to "rescue" and in my case I was presented with the option to "restore" to a newer version, dated 10/26/22 - my device was stuck on a build dated 03/11/22. (PLEASE NOTE THESE STEPS WILL WIPE YOUR DEVICE)
After I "restored" the tablet to this newer version I was then able to update to a version dated 2/10/23 - I am now running Android 12 Build Number TB-J616F_S240155_230210_ROW

I updated my Nexus 7 2013 to Marshmallow 6 build MRA58K. After using a combo of TWRP and Titanium Backup both Pro versions I have the tablet pretty much in order . Anyway I am a newbie to the root process. I thought when I upgraded I would no longer get the SYSTEM Update notifications. Which I did not get until the OTA flash all.bat procedure. Now when I do the system update available thingy I get the dead Android icon. I like the way my tablet is now but I still get the notification. Help

WORD OF WARNING!!
DO NOT USE THE LENOVO SMART RECOVERY ON THE CHINESE XIAOXIN VARIENT. If you flash the P12 firmware to the XIOAXIN Variant you will be stuck in the boot loader with no access to Recovery or ADB.
I actually did use the Lenovo RSA (Recovery and Smart Assistant) on my Xiaoxin variant trying to get it to something more English-based. Didn't work w/ what RSA downloaded which was TB_Q706F_USR_S211043_2111300010_Q00243_ROW which showed up recently. Flash happened w/o problems but upon reboot it was not happy and said H/W was incompatible and then powered off. I got it back into fastboot and was about to reflash 12L.
I was able to get into recovery and my Linux laptop was able to push 12L to it even though adb said device was unauthorized. Maybe that was because I had used it on that laptop before? Idk, I just used recovery to go into fastboot mode and then all the fastboot flash/erase commands worked fine.

That's great news at least you're tablet isn't useless?!
I believe they may be releasing the final updated for android 12L via ota. (there is a post on the Lenovo forums). If you're lucky this may be a back door to an eventual better rom than the Chinese junk. To clarify it's not the fault of the language that is the issue with the Chinese rom it's the problems with the security app, lack of open CL, broken sound in key apps (JustPlayer) and missing DTS codec which is present on the 2021 Pad Pro 11"
Hello, I had the great idea to update my Asus Rog Phone 5 Pro without reviewing tutorials based on the steps marked on the official page and I turned it into a cute brick. I hope you can help me to solve this error I had FW WW-18.0830.2101.86 and cleverly tried to upgrade to FW WW-18.1220.2202.206
This error appears... and it does not allow access to recovery mode
it says reboot, that regular reboot to OS, not recovery.
and why you didn't use the latest FW version but still an old version?
Latest Android 11 is WW_18.0840.2202.231
Very last version and stable is WW_31.0810.1226.67 (Android 12)
Reboot and install latest version.
wrong fw for your phone, please make sure you're flashing compatible fw.
also that ver is ancient.... update to latest A11 then A12, otherwise it will also fail.
Just checked, the ver you flashed is for 5*S* pro model. the one you have is the regular 5.

Hi,
After my S21+ updated to android 13, my phone often lost signal, did not receive messages and calls. I want to roll it back to android 10 but don't know how to do it.
I found a few tutorials to find the factory images and do flash-all using adb, but I don't know where I can find the factory images of the S21+.
Please guide me in detail if you can.
Sincerely thank you.
First you should unlock your bootloader from official source.
Then browse through incognito mode via any third party browser about official Android 10 rom package for your device.
Find your device manufacturers website from the results and download the package and update through default updater Or flash using official flash tool (recommended).
Remember rolling back or downgrade Android version can brick your device
Depending on how the device is programmed.
