After installing LineageOS 18.1, the mic gain is so low that the recorded sound is too low, and the sensitivity don't seem to be working well. It's significantly less than the stock rom.
I tried changing the ADC values from 6 to 12 in the mixer path xml file, but doesn't seem to change anything. I've attached the xml file.
Could anyone help fixing the mic gain and sensitivity?

Does anyone know which parameter to adjust in the AudioPara csv file to adjust the mic gain used during recording? Using the AGC control drops down the loud sounds but still clips and distorts. Gain controls in various audio programs have no effect.
Which parameter controls compression? I think some of the sound level issues posted else where may need to adjust this parameter as well as overall volume.

Hey guys, I just flashed my first custom rom on s6, and I was wondering how could I increase headphone sound level? On my old phone all I had to do was change some values in default_gain.conf (or smth like that, havent done it in a while). Maybe there are just some flashable mods, that would increase sound and maybe quality? Thanks in advance.
Edit /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml, look for "gain-media-headset" and adjust the gains for both left and right. I recommend a value of 130 from the 113 default, it's plenty loud.

Is there any way to increase the sensitivity of the mic?Recently the sensitivity of my mic has decreased a lot.I tried increasing the mic gain through Kernal adiutor but there wasn't much difference.Is there any other way to increase the mic gain?
I also tried editing the mixer_paths.xml file but that made the mic stop working completely.

Hello, I've noticed, that since android 10 my microphone and speaker volume is kinda poor, lower than before. Would like to know if anyone got an app or knowledge about editing mixer_paths to increase that. I have seen few guides about that mixer_paths, but couldn't find informations about increasing microphone volume. Can someone guide me to increase that?
