mi4i update delayed

I have a unrooted mi4i device. It is running on miui 7.1.1. I haven't received update for global version 7.2.3 while other users have updated their device. If anyone knows why this has happened please reply.

MIUI 7.2 is released for China Rom and I am pretty sure I think u have global ROM.
That's why u didn't recieve update.
By the way, Mi4i update is being delayed.(even dev rom) So, be patient.

I have 2 Mi4i phones, both same versions, one received the update today and the other not, they both are unrooted and have global ROM, strange

U can safely downgrade to miui 9 from miui 10 v8.7.5

I've just downgraded my redmi note 5 pro(all stock, not unlocked , no custom recovery)
If ur on miui 10 v8.7.5 u can safely downgrade
Just download the latest rom(v9.5.17.0)
And update via updater(everything will be wiped)

Now u cannot downgrade miui 10 beta v8.7.5 to miui 9 stable v9.5.17 if bootloader is locked since new update v9.5.19 has come which sadly enables the ARP. The best case would be wait for your bootloader to get unlocked and fastboot flash to v9.5.17 or below or you can just swap to custom ROMs from the beta v8.7.5 itself after unlocking bootloader.

Just bought new Note 7 Pro, question about new ROM and Widevine

I just bought a new Note 7 Pro with MIUI China ROM installed. I am currently waiting to unlock bootloader in order to flash a new ROM. After checking, it appears that the Xiaomi.eu ROM is based on the Chinese variant and thus has no Widevine L1, unlike the India Global ROM. So which ROM should I install instead? Is the Global MIUI suitable or should I install a custom ROM? I am looking for a ROM that can use with root and can have Widevine L1.

Latest Eu weekly rom has L1 , and Netflix works fine in 720p

Not yet, in the coming update there would be L1, guess so.

regarding custom roms

i currently have realme 7 pro android 10. with pitch black recovery. which rom should i install first???

Shapeshift, but you should be on realme ui 2.0 before flashing, to avoid problems.

actually i was having some rooting issue on realme ui 2.0 as unlock tool for bootloader was not working. so i downgraded to realme ui 1.0 which ia android 10. any suggestions what to do now?

You're good to flash the ROM, all you need is to upgrade to 2.0 despite what else you'll do. If you had any problems, you can always revert back, simply.

Don't you will brick your device
Also don't listen to what people are saying on this site at the moment cause nobody can clearly define whether methods are for Global, Indian or Chinese variants. It's a mess at the moment, Wait another 2 months and check this site.
