OTA should work, I've never used Kyasus lineage, instructions are Fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
Fastboot flash boot_b boot.img

Thanks for your answer !
You write Only to be used on ‘CUSTOM ROMS THAT ARE ON ANDROID 12 & 13’
Which ones, so ?
Or maybe you mean that it works with any A12/A13 ROM except stock A10/A11/A12 ones ?

Only custom ROMs like corvus etc, it will boot fine on stock but has issues like throwing up an error and reduce the performance

Just got it set up and... i am treble ready? No way!
There is definitely a positive change in response times and obviously much better use of hardware. Rooted no prob after a long first run and installed after 3 boots. Nice!

now that you installed treble fully, you can install GSIs from the treble forums but there is one problem with pie GSIs, some GSIs dont work because of some kind of overlays.. here's a list of GSIs that work and dont work
Avoid these GSIs:
ViperOS (Pie)
Pixel Dust (Pie)
PixelExperience (Pie)
Resurrection Remix (Pie)
HavocOS (Pie)
Liquid Remix (Pie)
MIUI (Oreo)
Oxygen OS (Oreo)
XenonHD (Oreo)
GSIs that work:
Phh-Treble (Pie/Oreo)
AOSP Extended (Pie (6.0)/Oreo)
AOSiP (Pie)
Descendant (Pie)
Bootleggers (Oreo)
Resurrection Remix (Oreo)
Lineage OS (Pie)
Ok nice. Kinda all over the place here. This is crazy. Only because i'm going to try all the ones suggested
Oh. My. God. This is AMAZING! My A8 is gone!

Ha. So I've probably tried close to 10 gsi's now and while some were decent, there so far has always been something that makes it unreasonable to stick with.
There's a lot more choices, that's for sure. I was really hoping to nail the rr 9.0 but don't have the patience to fix the partition issue.... so now I am looking at a cool glowing arrow with hopes of no vendor error message at the welcome screen. The install was easy. No idea if this glowing arrow is going to get tired and let me have a spin at it....
Can I use it without root? I mean i don't want to have the phoe rooted for some apps. Thank You.
is it normal that my Device now shown as A730F ?
also i noticed a performance decrease

All the apps and stuffs contains my sign So Beware!!` which means u can use but first you have to take my permissions as it's not OSS. Hope you understand and do more research regarding this `

atm i got two other issues:
the device didnt't get recognized if i connect it with usb to pc. only in recovery mode.
the developer options crash everytime if i try to open

[KERNEL] CKEH9 Custom Kernel Based on EMUI 9 Source for the Honor 9

CKEH9Made for the Huawei Honor 9 based on EMUI9 sources
I began this project because i wanted to bring the joy i felt from having JBolho's work on my Honor 9 with EMUI 8, and since he no longer owns the Honor 9, i wanted to bring some joy for those who appreciated his work, since my work is basically me cherry-picking some of his work.
By saying this i'm not saying i'm an expert in the custom kernel world, it's the opposite, i'm a noob, curious enough to try my luck and see what i can achieve.
For me this part is not necessary to include because all of you who try to flash either custom kernel, custom ROM or any kind of modification, should be aware of the risk and take full responsibility for your actions. So, that being said, i'm not responsible for your actions, try this at your own risk and responsibility. Don't complain about bricks, or any other kind of problems you might have from flashing this kernel. Be aware that your warranty is voided after you unlock your bootloader, flash kernels, roms and others.
Features
- Advanced TCP Algorithms with "Westwood" Default
- Huawei's Analytics Engine disabled
- Swap and zram disabled
- Maple, SIOPlus and Zen additional I/O Schedulers
- GPU Scene Aware (set as default)
- Energy Aware Scheduling (EAS) with "Schedutil" CPU Governor, Schedutil set as default
- Reduced Kernel Wakelock Sources
Requirements
- Unlocked Bootloader
- Rooted EMUI 9
- SD Card
Instructions
- Place kernel in external storage (SD Card)
- For flashing, i'm using EX Kernel Manager from playstore (it's a paid app)
In the Ex Kernel Manager go to:
Tools
Flasher

This is currently only being tested in OpenKirin's RR based on EMUI9

My English not very well. I am from Russia.
Hello! please tell me! Will there be support IPTABLES, which is necessary for fixing TTL?
Great! Glad to see something new happening in development on my H9, this could make me update to Pie again, since the first time I tried it i felt Oreo was a lot more fluid with JBolho kernel than Pie with stock.

[SPECTRUM+MORPHO] Almost perfectly optimized (kernels included)

General
Hi XDA,
Because many people wanted SPECTRUM/MORPHO profile (myself included) for Morfuz and Labyrinth kernels, I decided to make them on my own.
If anyone find anything bad/non-effective don't be shy and post your issue I will add changes to future updates (If I won't be too much lazy).
Disclaimer
I'm not responsible for any bad consequences, so use it on your own risk!
This is my first work!
Installation
1. Download kernel, fixes and spectrum/morpho profile for your kernel
2. Reboot to TWRP
3. Flash kernel
4. Flash 'Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_08.18.2019'
5. Flash Spectrum/Morpho profile for your kernel
6. Reboot to system
7. Flash in Magisk 'Module-MorfuzKernel_P8lite2017'
8. Reboot
8. Download SPECTRUM from Google Play or Download Morpho apk
9. Open, give root and select profile you want
10. Enjoy
BUGS
Profile won't automatically apply, so to apply for example balanced you have to switch to any profile and back to balanced.
SPECTRUM app very often lock cpu clocks or disable some cores.
Labyrinth kernel r2.2 won't pass Safetynet and adb is buggy for transfering files and installing apps - unfixable without recompiling kernel itself.
Morfuz kernel 2.1 won't pass Safetynet - fixable after flashing ARCore module in Magisk and in Magisk hide ticking all Google apps.

I think I found similar post from you on [ROM][10] LineageOS 17.1 for Huawei P8 Lite 2017 thread by @DarkJoker360 but sorry, this patch is not from me, I tried to find modem_fw in "/" but in TWRP it doesn't exists, also you can try uninstalling magisk and again installing it (make sure you use version recommended by you rom porter). Or idk if in stock rom it doesn't work is time to warranty claim.
Changelog
Added Morpho profiles - works better than spectrum, less buggy but still buggy
Added links for apps
Added pool so vote now it's important for me ?
Testers are welcome
Moderator Message: Thread Closed due to violation of GPLv2 and missing download links. OP check my PM and reply to me when you are ready with the links to open the thread again!
No morpho support.........because??
Hi there ,
I really apreciate your work. I've failed to install Labyrinth, but with DarkJoker360 AOSP 10 + Morfuz v2.1 + Morpho + greenify i got 13%/h screen ON.
Cons : i've chrome and message app crash everyday and some instable behaviour. My (noob) question is : why not using the latest Morfuz available which seem to fix bug and energie managing?
Once again, good work.
Thank you for your great work, first of all. Is it however possible to uninstall Spectrum kernel for example? I tried reflashing the ROM, but still Spectrum is installed.. Can you help? Regards

I know it is in testing and some optimization details are missing to correct, but something essential would be the camera. But on the other hand, an excellent job.

Thanks for testing the ROM, but i have to say that back camera can actually work, it's just the camera app that closes. Could you download Footej and tell me if it works?
First, thank all the developers for the effort you make with these roms so that we can enjoy our j4 ... I wanted to know how I can solve the camera and flashlight failures or if you are going to get any update of this ROM with the corrected errors, thanks again for all. Also m gives error when installing kernel.

For camera, it might be an issue. Try with another camera app and tell me if it works.
The kernel issue, some people didn't get that. Did you follow the instructions?
I tried another camera application and it doesn't work .... on whether I followed the instructions well ... I did it as you describe and it keeps giving me an error ....
Really great job sir!!! Thank you very much for this!!
Tried it and it was laggy, frozes frequently even maxing out the online cores. Especially when unlocking it, it takes 3-5 sec before it responds. Can't be use as daily driver. I hope someone would port a custom rom like aex or lineage

I'm not expecting a great deal bout performance, I just thought it would be use as daily driver. Until maybe someone would develop a custom rom for j4core. Anyway I got the leokernel work with pie gsi, but can't be use as daily driver also because of bug of incall sound and mtp connection.

[ROM][11] JAGUAR R FOR ONEPLUS 3

This is the official build of Jaguar Rom. I have been building Android roms since 2012 for various devices including multiple Sonys, Lenovo Zuk and Oneplus 5 (my current device). You can check the Oneplus 5 development thread here: Oneplus 5 thread
Jaguar rom is focused on hardening of Android and kernel. As such, the rom has hardened bionic and tightened security. Kernel has security features ported from linux kernel 4.14.
Otherwise, the rom has all standard+ features that come with custom roms:
1 Rom control with custom Power menu, Statusbar, Buttons, Navbar, Quicksettings, Lockscreen, Notifications, Gestures, Themes etc.
2. Working FDE encryption, which is not forced, but could be enabled within Settings
3. Heavily modified Art, Bionic System/Vold and System/Security
4. Telephony response ('silently acknowledged') to Type Zero sms disabled
5. Toggle to disable Captive Portal logging
6. Rom could be booted on locked bootloader out of the box
7. All customizations as listed in '1'
8. MicroG ready
Instructions:
1. If you are encrypted on any other rom, you need to do a factory reset in TWRP, the option, where you enter 'Yes' to confirm.
2. Reboot into TWRP (after factory reset), transfer Jaguar to internal SD, wipe system/cache/data and /vendor, if you have it;
3. Flash the rom and reboot.
You will be unencrypted. If you want encryption (FDE, not ICE), encrypt withing Settings.
Rom V1 is in the attachment. All subsequent release will be posted in #3.

Will try it out & report. Many Thanks for keeping our OP3/3T alive. Appreciate all the great developers work on XDA.
Update - Added a few screenshots. Everything is working so far. Snappy & Tons of Customization options. Rooted(Magisk Canary).
Update - Hotspot is not working for me. Typically I do not use this feature so I don't test this function.

I am waiting for @optimumpro to release update with Jan-2021 ASP's. Then I plan to use it as my daily driver.
Currently I have it on my OP3 as a testbed, so can't really provide feedback on battery life. For my OP3/3T over the years average daily SOT has been around 2:30 to 3:30 hours upto & including Android 11.

Thanks for the reply.
But that sot seems quite short. Depending on the use you gave, ofc.
But with moderate use, I usually get around 4h.
@optimumpro
So your ROM seems to be build from MSM Xtended sources. There are improvements or advantages in your ROM over the original Xtended ROM?

I used AOSP sources, as well as Msm-Xtended, as well as DU, as well as Crdroid, but:
1. Art, Bionic, System/Vold, System/Security and most of /frameworks/base sources are different
2. Interface is different
3. Some blot removed
4. Several different apps
5. Kernel is different: I squashed about 20 commits (hardening) in one
6. Blobs are different
7. My rom can disable (with a toggle) Captive portal apk, which is spyware. Otherwise, if you uninstall it, you'll have a nasty 'X' in wifi and some sites may not work
8. Acknowledgement of receipt of type zero SMS is disabled. This is is the first thing hackers do - ping your phone with an sms that doesn't appear on screen... .
But ultimately, only you can decide which rom to use.
@optimumpro
My post was not to offend you. Thanks for the explanation and clarification. Your points make sense and they are great and important plus over the other ROMs. This should me mentioned in the OP.
I know that asking for ETA is not welcome on XDA. But one more question concerning updates. What are your plans for that. Your ROM has security in focus. Do you think building monthly updates for Android Security Bulletin?
I don't switch ROMs very often, cos I'm to lazy for this. So when switching to a new ROM I'll like to stick on it for a long time.

Usually, once a month. However, this rom is version 1, so, there might be more updates. Definitely, one with January security patches in a few days.

Dirty flash is fine on top of V-1. Download in post #3.

No. - I am using the latest version of TWRP - twrp-3.5.0_9-0-oneplus3
Great to see this hardened flavour of 11 which can even be used with locked bootloader @optimumpro !
As I understand you will have monthly updates also which is great to keep our phone up to date.
One question though; is it possible to use /data/local/userinit.sh scripts with this rom?
Would be a great option to do some system settings without the need of Magisk or other stuff.
