General MIUI 14 - 14.0.5.0 released in EU (TLCEUXM) - Xiaomi 12

Has anyone else received this update? Is there anything new in it?
I personally can't find anything changed, it looks and feels exactly like MIUI 13. Couldn't find any new features either.

Xiaomi 12 EEAStable BetaRecoveryV14.0.5.0.TLCEUXM13.04.8 GB2023-01-17
Changelog:[System]
Updated Android Security Patch to January 2023. Increased system security.
[More features and improvements]
Search in Settings is now more advanced. With search history and categories in results, everything looks much crisper now.

Hi the only major thing detected are customizable folders for now. The system speed and accu drain are same for me compared to A13 miui 13. Notifications are working for me some reported delayed push notifications.
actual battery statistic for 7 days used Miui 14

what a second this version is a beta and its out?
I still have miui global 13.0.13 stable SLIEUXM security patch 1/10/2022
Why miui 14 is TLI and not SLI???
Can somebody update only the update file? I can find only the method with fastboot.

There are only 2 models, CN or Global.
The Global version has an EEA or Global rom depending on the seller and/or the country of purchase.

ok so I have a 2201123g bought in Europe, I want to flash back the original rom, should I do global or eea? Also if you do clean and lock you lock the bootloader? I want to relock without bricking it or anything

MIUI update failure

What's up!
Does anyone can help out about updating de MIUI?
Using the system update, it shows there is no available newer versions.
But actually there are.
My Mi note10 is on MIUI 11.0.8 and I have found that the global stable version are already on 11.0.13 or even above.
I have downloaded these MIUI newer versions using Downmi, an app for Xiaomi update files.
But when I try to choose the newer packages on system update, I get the following message
{

By the way, that's the file I have downloaded to update:
About my phone screen:
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
You are using global, and you downloaded EEA, which is for Europe
Dammit....
Downmi only shows EEA versions... Any idea where I can find global updates for MIUI?
Thanks for the help

Did you download this 11.0.16 global version from a specific place, or the phone updated itself with this version? Cause it seems for global versions, nothing can be found above 11.0.8 ?

Possibly the version he is using is European.... Cause I can't find any rom above 11.0.8 for global...
NOW global 11.0.16 is released.
11.0.16 = EU = europe rom.
11.0.8 = MI = global rom.
You can't install eu rom over global locked bootloader phone.
11.0.8 itls the latest stable firm for global verison. So you're up to date.

I guess it depends when you get the OTA update. My Global Mi Note 10 is on 11.0.16 and Feb 1 security update. I received it a week or more ago. Other than the security update, no visible improvements.
Your device is PDFMIXM which is global
And the firmware you download is PDFEUXM which is for Europe...
any one know why i dont get the 11.0.8 update i still on 11.0.7

install Orange fox recovery, boot into it, look at the initial screen, find out the row with text fingerprint: there you can see your actual fw and QJGMIXM is what you should look for and flash firmware with tag QJGMIXM (or whatever you'll see there on your phone)

Just to clarify this: ThatDamnFrog seems to be confusing the custom Xiaomi.eu ROM with the European version of the official MIUI stock ROM.
The European official ROM (marked with a QJGEUXM code) is different from the real MIUI global ROM (which has a QJGMIXM code).

Nope. Because only certain people have the ability to unlock their bootloader - which is required for custom recovery, Magisk and custom ROMs. As TWRP hasn't been compiled for the Find X2 Pro, you'll have some issues installing the ROM.

Hello, Support for /e/ Foundation could help you, this guy seems to be helpful: https://community.e.foundation/t/a-new-brand-name-for-e-os-murena/32892 i am also looking to have lineageOS, CalyxOS or Graphen on my Oppo find X2 pro cph2025 europe.
So my cph2025 uk model (on EE) has a toggle under developer options to "OEM unlock" (allow the bootloader to be unlocked).
Would this allow me to flash a custom rom like Lineage or am I misunderstanding what that means?

Question Back to stock, how to make sure I flash the correct ROM?

Hello everyone, I may be planning to resell my Poco X3 Pro, and for that, I want to reflash the stock ROM and relock the bootloader.
As I understand it, there are different ROM versions, India, Global, EU, etc, and flashing the wrong ROM and unlocking will brick the device, is that correct? I bought my phone from Iran, but as Xiaomi phones are often imported unofficially, the actual version of the phone may not be clear. Is there any way I can find out the stock ROM version so I can relock the bootloader? I still have the box, btw.
Thanks.
You can Figure out which Version you have by Baseband Version in System settings.
No clue which one is which though^^

As long as the ROM version is the same or newer than Firmware you won't have any problems.

Purchase Country: Germany
The actual warranty should be according to where it is from.
In general, Global is 1 year, while Europe is 2 years. UK is also 2 years.
Could ask Xiaomi/POCO about it.

POCO Deutschland

The non-official website could show the information probably due to the "Mi-Activation lock: On", in order for the "Find my device" function to work.

Just flash Global ROM and lock bootloader. It doesn't matter the region.
Download original ROM from here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/vayu/
Use fastboot rom, don't use recovery.
