Your SOT tells the tale.
If it's an Li battery replace it now before it fails. A Li failure can cause damage even destroy the device. Any battery bulging is a failure.
Thanks

Fella's,
When I'm not using my GT-P6211 it's in the dock and constantly charging.
Is this constant charging harmful for the battery in anyway ?
I'm assuming the charging is automatically switched off when the battery is full, and just a trickle charge remains.
Haven't noticed any negative effects (yet).
THANKS,
V.
Trickle Charge is for about 30 minutes. Battery shouldn't be charged for more than 6 hours. Well at least that's what it says for most battery tips.
I follow that and this is what I have got. I have a P6200.

As you can see it took about 9 hours to get it to 98% from 99% on standby. So I guess it's a good thing to follow. No battery saving apps were used.
never good for the batteries does a full discharge and then fully charged .. is better to do small loads, since heat the spoils
Hello gurls,
I recently replace the baterry of my Sony Xperia Z3 nd the charge reading is wrong. to be clear, when charging it reach 100% in 5 minutes and depletes to 1% also in 5 minutes. I use AccuBattry to check battery capacity and show 3200ish (factory is 3100). After a full charge the phone last for days, or like 6 hours of continous video play. The thing is that after 4 minutes it goes to from 100% to 80%, then jumps for 30ish and in half hour it shows 1%. No matter what, the phone continue working and have a very good battery usage. But as we know I never know when Im about to power off.
do you know what cna be causing this issue? Does the battery comes with an integrated sensor for charge or the phone measures this? do i need to delete battery.bin file? What do you suggest?

On Galaxy Flip and Fold 3 in the Battery and device application that appeared the setting with the limitation of the battery charge up to 85% for its health. It can also be installed on the Note 20 Ultra? You need another version of the Device application that has other implementations.?Thanks!

I've read somewhere that feature will come to Note and other phones in due course
Tab S7+ has had this feature for many months, maybe even since original release. It's a feature I use.
With my N20U I use Accubattery to set a charge limit alarm at 80%. It doesn't stop the charging, but alerts me to take the phone off charge if I prefer not to cook it on a daily basis.
For this setting to be included in the official samsung Rom, I assume its already then confirmed that you save on battery life if you don't charge to 100%?.....I know there are differences of opinion on this...
HI,
everyone I am sharing my battery health after 2 yearsof usage using fast charging. I mostly used to charge between from 20 to 80%. My battery health is 92-93%. What is your expierence?

I've had mine for 18 months and now it only charges up to a bit over 3800 mAh.
I always charge it to 100%. Normally it's only once a day, but when I'm doing "heavy" stuff like testing backup/recovery or updating processes (rollback, update, repeat) it can be two times and sometimes three times a day.
18 months, mostly slow charge once a day. I've got 3900 mAh, 13% down on new. I mostly slow charge as I believed it would be kinder to the battery. But your results Skyline suggest I'm wrong. Intriguing! Perhaps it's the 20 to 80% aspect - that's what laptop manufacturers recommend for long life.
Hello! How to view battery usage by hours

Is... is that normal for Tiktok? Unless I'm reading it wrong and it means "53% of your current battery discharge was spent on this app", rather than "53% of your entire battery's charge". I don't use it myself, but I can't imagine what is likely a WebView with video players is THAT intensive.
As for your question, the only other app I know of for this is Better Battery Stats, which a) requires root, and b) is a bit technical.

53% of 9% battery so around 5% battery discharge on tiktok. And what I meant is my display battery usage for the last hours disappeared. I wanted it to look like this
