I've had mine for 18 months and now it only charges up to a bit over 3800 mAh.
I always charge it to 100%. Normally it's only once a day, but when I'm doing "heavy" stuff like testing backup/recovery or updating processes (rollback, update, repeat) it can be two times and sometimes three times a day.

18 months, mostly slow charge once a day. I've got 3900 mAh, 13% down on new. I mostly slow charge as I believed it would be kinder to the battery. But your results Skyline suggest I'm wrong. Intriguing! Perhaps it's the 20 to 80% aspect - that's what laptop manufacturers recommend for long life.

Battery charging question

Fella's,
When I'm not using my GT-P6211 it's in the dock and constantly charging.
Is this constant charging harmful for the battery in anyway ?
I'm assuming the charging is automatically switched off when the battery is full, and just a trickle charge remains.
Haven't noticed any negative effects (yet).
THANKS,
V.
Trickle Charge is for about 30 minutes. Battery shouldn't be charged for more than 6 hours. Well at least that's what it says for most battery tips.
I follow that and this is what I have got. I have a P6200.

As you can see it took about 9 hours to get it to 98% from 99% on standby. So I guess it's a good thing to follow. No battery saving apps were used.
never good for the batteries does a full discharge and then fully charged .. is better to do small loads, since heat the spoils

[Review] RAVPower 2800mAh Li-ion Battery

I was asked to do a review of the RavPower 2800mAh replacement battery for my Samsung S4.
A bit of history, I have the S4 for verizon, I run Vanir Rom and use Ktoons kernel. I also have a pebble watch that pulls weather every 20 to 60 minutes.
Prior to using in my phone, I used my external battery charger to ensure it was at 100% when I put it into my phone. Normally I charge every night but last night I said to myself, I want to see how long it will go compared to the stock battery.
Attached is a screenshot and I am well over 5 hours my norm and still have 27% left.
Personally, if you are looking for a good, solid replacement, I would certainly purchase one of these.

Too many 1-star reviews on Amazon. Won't be taking the risk. I think OEM-Original or Anker (or Zerolemon) is a safer bet

Phone not deep sleeping

Phone hasn't been deep sleeping today I noticed...decent battery life for 14 hours worth. Two hours of screen time 40 minutes of GPS usage for navigation. No apps seem to be really using significant chunks of battery but I saw this in betterbatterystats a couple minutes ago.

Wrong Battery readings

Hello gurls,
I recently replace the baterry of my Sony Xperia Z3 nd the charge reading is wrong. to be clear, when charging it reach 100% in 5 minutes and depletes to 1% also in 5 minutes. I use AccuBattry to check battery capacity and show 3200ish (factory is 3100). After a full charge the phone last for days, or like 6 hours of continous video play. The thing is that after 4 minutes it goes to from 100% to 80%, then jumps for 30ish and in half hour it shows 1%. No matter what, the phone continue working and have a very good battery usage. But as we know I never know when Im about to power off.
do you know what cna be causing this issue? Does the battery comes with an integrated sensor for charge or the phone measures this? do i need to delete battery.bin file? What do you suggest?

Your SOT tells the tale.
If it's an Li battery replace it now before it fails. A Li failure can cause damage even destroy the device. Any battery bulging is a failure.
Thanks
