I updated the shamiko (0.6 126) and zygisk LSPosed v 1.8.6 (6712) modules
with the negation list using shamiko or only with the negation list the result is the same as the one above.
everything was working fine, until today 01-24-2022 this started.
app download link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=br.com.uol.ps.myaccount&hl=en&gl=US
is there any other updated modules or way to hide the root, I'm really desperated because I really need this app working, if anyone could help me,thanks.

Remove root

I need a solution, I don't want to remove the root.

Try to install hide my app list, configure it, and test it with this. It may be detecting zygisk, which I think is unavoidable. If this does not work, send logcat.

Check it using Play Integrity Checker, safetynet is outdated. You should get everything except the strong catogory(can’t get that with unlocked bootloader).

The app could also be specifically looking for root, so you can try TB Checker as well.

How is that better then appliatdetector, or safetynet checker. Isn’t it same thing.

Download a app that’s a logcat reader. clear all app data from app detecting root. Start recording log at and open app. Leave and stop recordin.

search for magisk delta it has magisk hide and all my banking apps work with that turned on

Well, not today, maybe on Saturday. It will work for sure if you disablw magisk using magisk delta, it kills root( the app may not be detecting root tho, it may be detecting some apps you forgot to hide or modules or etc.). Root functions by giving your device UID 0. Killing root shell destroys root. Just send me a logcat.

In the past, there was a sqlite fix that was needed as well as magisk to get gpay working... Has that been remedied now?
What steps do you use to get gpay to work?

From a clean install with root (Magsik):
- Installed Universal SafetyNet Fix
- Enabled Magisk Hide, enabled Hide for Google Play Services, GPay, and my bank's app
- Reboot
- Started GPay, added cards, everything worked fine
That was on 12 beta 5 though. When I get home and am able to reroot (took the OTA update today) I will see if anything changes.

It's been a while for me. Didn't realize that had that as a fix for gpay... Thanks
Once I was finally able to gain root, I followed the process exactly as I had described:
- Enabled Magisk Hide
- Installed Universal Safetynet Fix
- Enabled Magisk Hide for Google Play Services and GPay (expand app and check all toggles)
- Reboot
- Set up GPay

New Magisk Canary, no longer uses Magisk Hide
V0latyle said:
So Magisk Canary was released yesterday:
Magisk 23010
Someone who is temp rooting want to patch their boot image with this and see what happens?
Also, Magisk Hide is no longer, so here's what you have to do to pass Safetynet (the check is no longer in Magisk so you'll have to use an external app)
In Magisk:
Settings > Magisk:
Enable Zygisk
Enable Enforce Denylist
Enable for Google Play Services components: (I just enabled for all subcomponents)
com.google.android.gms
com.google.android.gms.unstable
That should be enough to pass Safetynet. Don't forget to hide other apps such as banking, GPay, DRM (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc)

I believe there is, however I downgraded to Magisk 23001 for simplicity's sake. If you are trying to get SafetyNet to pass, I would advise you to do the same.

Yes. On Magisk 23010+, you have to use Universal SafetyNet Fix 2.2.0...which is currently in beta on Patreon.
I'm using Magisk 23001 with USNF 2.1.1, SafetyNet passes and GPay works.

Thank you for the reply. Root Explorer is not letting me do anything.
And I'm using AdAway, AFWall+ (Donate), AM Pre-release, Aurora Droid, Aurora Store, BBS, ClockSync, Corona-Warn-Companion, EdXposed Manager, Elixir, Elixir Widget, Fox's Magisk Module Manager, Franco Kernel Manager, MatLog Libre, MiXplorer, MyAndroidTools Pro, SD Maid, substratum, Termux and Titanium Backup.

Unless you're doing the hacking yourself, I'd be careful about hacking tools as they often introduce backdoors into apps. Use only open source tools that you have verified to be benign.

Have you verified Root Explorer has SU permissions? Open your root manager and check. It should have requested at some point and may have been automatically denied.

Question Google Pay and CTS Issues.

Hey, It's been for quite some time that I have tried to use google pay with magisk installed but failed miserably. I decided to install lineage on my Google Pixel 6a so that I could do a little more trick with that but still didn't work. What I don't get is that I passed multiple times SafetyNet but when I try to add my card It refuses to add it and then goes back to failed CTS. It's starting to get a little frustrating as I love my Pixel 6a and know that I can do cool stuff with it but the only thing that separates me from rooting and using custom firmwares is that I can't use Google Pay/Wallet (and maybe Netflix but I think there is some workarounds for that). So if anybody knows a way to actually fix that it would mean the world to me.
Thank you.

Interesting. Have you cleared application data on the apps you've put on the denylist?
Also, which version of SafetynetFix have you installed? I think the most recent one doesn't work properly all the time.
I did in fact cleared the app data of the apps needed, and also used the latest version of SafetyNet. But an interesting fact is that I have passed SafetyNet times to times but when for example I am trying to add a card, cts just fails randomly. I don't know if it's a common issue or not though..

Do you have another version of the Magisk app hidden? If so, uninstall it.
Also, what exact steps did you take to root?
^^^^ You most likely have another Magisk on your phone, but it's hidden.
That's why apps that previously had root still work.
Go through the apps list and look for the app "Settings" without an icon.

"This scenario" meaning two managers? Actually yes, the prompt is given. I witnessed it myself (again) yesterday.
It seems like you are having trouble getting root access and modules to work on your Pixel 7 Pro. Try these things if they can work-
Update to the latest version of Magisk.
Uninstall and reinstall Magisk.
Check your device's firmware compatibility.Open the Magisk app and go to Settings. Check that the "Magisk Hide" option is enabled and that the "Magisk Core Only Mode" option is disabled.
If none of the above steps work, you may need to flash the stock firmware on your device.
Just try I am hopeful that it will resolve your issue.

What version of Magisk are you flashing?
Others on the thread....wasn't there a bug on certain Magisk canary versions where root checks were passing and root access was supposedly given to apps, but Magisk wasn't able to implement modules or confirm its own root status? It most likely has to do with that and/or in conjunction with being on a QPR as well....

Hmmm...interesting...
I forgot where I saw it -- it might've been in the main Magisk thread here on XDA, or in one of the Pixel 7 Pro rooting guides, might've even been a PixelFlasher thread -- but there was an issue (I believe it was canary 25206-25209 or something like that) that spoke about this similar issue; root detection would detect root and apps wouldn't put up a warning of lack of root access, but Magisk itself wouldn't confirm its own root status, the modules couldn't be activated, and the apps couldn't actually accomplish the tasks that required root -- it just wouldn't put up a warning/error stating it was lack of root access. I can't recall whatever came of it; I believe it was either downgrading to stable or updating to higher canary of 25210, but I can't recall off the top of my head. I do believe being on QPR was a factor, but I might be misremembering...
I suggest you try "finegling" the search function as best you can and see what users ended up doing...I'll see if I can't find it later...
Just to note, T3B3 runs fine with 26101 for me.

Question [Root] Skipping the bootloader warning at boot and installing banking apps

Dear all,
My Pixel displays an ugly bootloader warning every time I reboot it, which also means I need to manually press power twice to continue the start.
Is there a way to address it?
On another note, I wanted to install a few banking apps but they won't work under root. I saw a few turnarounds for other phones, but what is the sage method for the P7P?
Thanks,

On another note, I wanted to install a few banking apps but they won't work under root. I saw a few turnarounds for other phones, but what is the sage method for the P7P?
Thanks,

After a few more seconds it will automatically boot normally by itself, you don't have to press the power button twice. As far as removing the warning, idk.
For the banking apps...What works for me is in Magisk enable Zygisk, add the apps to the deny list, and install the SafetyNet module. If none of that works you can try hiding Magisk, it's in the settings of the app.

you are correct it doesn't work for all apps. The only alternatives are non-root or build a kernel with kernelsu

I see there's a new version as of yesterday. I just tested it and everything works fine, safety checks pass.

Yes this is true, but the warning screen is on for ten seconds, pressing the power button twice takes a half second or less
