[STOCK ROM][NO ROOT][Android 4] Correct login to Google account after phone reset - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

There are devices with android 4 in which after a reset to factory settings or very long ago not updated, there is no way to log in to a Google or Samsung account. Here is a proven repair method.
Before you proceed with the repair, you need to be logged into your Google account from another device (phone, PC), to do verification of adding a new device.
The method was tested on an account with two-step login verification.
Remove Google account on the phone, uninstall updates and application data for Google Play and if installed, also Google Play Services.
Download on PC and upload to phone Google Play 5.1.1.
Download on PC and upload to phone Google Play Services. Download nodpi version or appropriate dpi for your phone. Depending on the amount of space on your phone and the correct operation of purchased applications in the Google Play, start testing from the lowest API.
Google Play Services (Android 2.3+)Google Play Services (Android 4.0+)Google Play Services (Android 4.1+)Google Play Services (Android 4.4+)On your phone, install first Googla Play and then Google Play Services.
Connect your phone to the Internet and wait a long while.
Launch Google Play. There will be a login process. Select an existing account (the one you are logged into on another device).
Approve on the other device messages, codes or other methods of authorization to add a new device to the account.
Check that everything works in the Google Play after you've finished adding your account and that store-bought apps refresh access to the full version (if not, make a copy of that app, uninstall it and reinstall it).
If anyone has checked their device and the guide works, please post about the model and any comments.
I confirm the correct operation of the described method on the original firmware for:
android 4.1.2 - LG Optimus 4X HD
android 4.2.2 - HTC One SV
android 4.4.2 - Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini LTE i9195

I can confirm that it partly works on my S3 mini (android 4.1.2): i can install apps from store, but the store crashes after a while

Did Google Play update itself to a higher version?
Did Google Play download Google Play services by itself, or did you install Google Play services?

Goggle play hasn't update itself to higher version
I have installed Play services by myself from 4.1+ link as I have 4.1.2

Your android version doesn't matter, which is why I wrote "start testing from the lowest API". So start from the beginning, but with Services for Android 2.3+

well, that doesn't work on samsung galaxy s3 stock 4.3!!
maybe i don't understand what do you mean by "a long while"
i waited a hour and a half, 30 minutes and 30 minutes and it still failed.. how much do i wait or do i need another solution?

That should be enough, as long as you had an active Internet connection on your phone. Have you checked opening pages in the web browser?

2.3+ = i waited and nothing happened+play services started crashing every second
4.0+ = i waited and nothing happened
4.1+ = same as 2.3+
4.4+ = my s3 has 4.3 so it doesn't support it

Google Play 5.1.1 is from 2014. If it doesn't download Google Play Services to your phone on its own, then start installing Google Play Services from versions released in 2014, and you won't have a crash. Unfortunately, old versions of services do not connect the store to your account, so you have to experiment on your own, and uninstall and install successive younger versions of Google Play Services for so long, until Google Play login works.
Have you tried logging into a newly created account?
What exact model of S3 are you using?

[Q] Google Play crashes at start on chinese tablet

Hello, community! I recently bought a Chinese tablet and one of the first things I did was to install Google Play and Google Play Services via apk, I also added my Google account. The problem is that after loading for a while it says: 'The application Google Play Store has closed unexpectedly'. The amazing thing is that it pops up a notification that there are updates for my apps! Also the tablet shows up in my Google account as a device. The other applications that require Google Play services (like youtube and google now) run fine. My firmware version is 4.1.1. Also the download manager IS enabled. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

This means that you have purchased a chinese style software configuration tablet. Thanks to encouragement by ccp policies towards google, many manufacturers (would you believe i have in my hands a samsung note 8 that does the same thing!) have stripped out the play store in favor of other alternatives. For me, i am going to root and flash this tablet and forget default aoftware is even something that exists.....

Google Play not auto-updating apps

Google Play doesn't seem to want to auto-update apps on my device, it's been like this for a few weeks since I clean installed of YNG1TAS17L, so I have to do it manually. It worked once when I set the option to "Auto-update apps at any time" but I can't risk using this as it would use up mobile data.
Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Are your Google Play Services updated?
Is your Google Play Store updated?
Did you try rebooting the device?
Have you forced stop or disabled any Google service?

Google Play Services is 7.3.29 (That's dated April 21st, but matches my Nexus 7 version and apps auto-update fine)
Play Store is 5.5.12
Also had lots of reboots
Only Google Play Movies & TV, Play Music, and Hangouts have been frozen
Also, my device installs new apps from the Play store when initiated from Google Play on a desktop PC no problem, but all the updates are still ignored, despite needing no permission changes.

Did you try changing the settings to default for Google Play Store?
Clear data and clear cache of this app
Reboot and try
If still it doesn't work, I guess you need to reinstall the OS

Didn't work either, guess I'm out of luck. I'll update manually for now until next COS 12 release

How do I update Google Play Services manually?

Hi
Google Play Services suddenly started to drain my battery. 100->87%, 18 minutes SOT 2 hours standby.
I found out, that I have an outdated version of Google Play Services and I have tried Google, but can't seem to find a way to manually update it and since it don't update itself, how do I update it?
Thanks in advance
Download it from APKMirror and install using your favourite file manager

Thanks. APKMirror is a legit site? I just find it weird Google Play Services suddenly wants to get access to route my call and text messages. (New permissions from the app from APKMirror).
Download it directly from Google Play if you are concerned. I just did it this morning myself from Google Play using this process and got version 7.8.93.

APKMirror is run by Android Police, and is very much legit
I also read about a trick over on Reddit to get your phone to update Google Play Services itself. Simply load Google's Android Wear app then launching it and trying to set up will initiate the Google Play Services update since Android Wear needs version 7.8.93. Even though I downloaded it from the pay store using APK Downloader, I tried this and was able to get the phone to self update to the latest update to 7.8.95 now. Interesting trick.

Cannot Connect to Google Services

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" and have a problem with it, it cannot connect to any Google services (play store, maps, etc). I thought this was a connection problem but other apps that required internet are works (TuneIn Radio, Soundcloud, etc) like they should be. I also thought something wrong with Google Play Services, so I uninstall Google Play Services updates and everything is now worse, all google app required Google Play Services to be updated so I can't open any of them.
So far I have tried :
1. Rebooting the tablet
2. Remove and re-add Google account
3. Switch the time and date between auto and manual
4. Delete hosts file
5. Clear Google Play Services, Google Play Store and Google Service Framework cache and data
6. Reconnect wi-fi
Please help I don't want to factory reset my tablet

Are you running stock firmware or rooted and custom ROM? Some ROMs have problems with play services.

I also have tried to update Google Play Services with Firefox, but nothing happens when I tap the install button.

I recently bought a new Huawei phone from China without gapps pre-installed .
Therefore,I installed the google framework, google play service and play store in /data/app
However, when i open google play store,it seems it is working properly before i click the login button.
After clicking the button,it stand still without doing anythings so i try to login it in setting>account.
Unfortunately, when i try to login the google account the login page does not appear and there is a pop-up saying "google play service is broken, please uninstall it."
My phone is Huawei Enjoy 9S POT-AL00a EMUI9.0.1 Android P

Bought a mate 20x china version. The seller had installed Google playstore but it cannot either download or update any app. It shows download pending,,,,,,
I have already cleared cache and data of playstore, play services and framework cache as well. Didn't work.
I did a factory reset. No good.
Then I tried reinstalling google apps via google installer v2 and v3. Both fail to install google as I already have a never update of google play services.
What should I do know? Please help!

I'm also experiencing the same thing ,with previous Huawei device one used to install GSM app and that would solve everything but on the Enjoy 9s seems to be different. I did try to install the GSM package and the reboots and shows that it's been installed but never gets installed. On some articles that I read it's saying that the emui 9 comes with google play services already installed but I doubt if it's true .
All I can say is that for now there is no breakthrough
