But, in order to make it work, I had to go to the settings of the magisk app to put the update parameters in beta mode then it worked.
Someone said the boot has been patched with the beta version of magisk.

Hi. Is there a new patched image for latest magisk?
When i try to flash it with the magisk manager app it reboots automatically when it's backing up the stock boot img
Successfully update from 10.0.10.0 to 10.0.12.0 using this guide, Install Magisk with proper support for OTA updates.
And pulled boot.img and patched_boot.img using this guide, Advanced OTA keeping Magisk and TWRP.

Do not update if you don't want to lose dt2w.

I have to root again after every reboot, can you help me

You have to patch the boot image with magisk and then flash it with fastboot
could you please help me to install the april update, i have rooted my pixel 3a with magisk.
as there is no boot.img in the april update, so what img do i patch?

@varunkjx you need to download the corresponding factory image from Google, extract the boot.img from there and patch it.

OK I was just lazy hoping somebody Elese did the work. Ended up using my OB2 patched boot image file and it worked ok, Magisk working fine on OB4.
Still want TWRP for 11
