Hello - I am trying to run clash of clans on Nox player like I how I used to for the past six months. Looks like clash cannot run on google play store in the NOX emulator. After going through many threads in the forums, I learned that it is supported only through amazon app store. I downloaded amazon app store and clash from inside the Amazon appstore. I'm still unable to run the game (error - Clash of Clans has stopped). I'm using Nox 7.0.5.1 and Android 7. Can someone please let me know if I need to change or make any modifications to any of the files to make it run?
I also tried the following troubleshooting steps,
1 - I uninstalled Nox player completely from my computer.
2 - Restarted my computer and reinstalled Nox. Started Nox and by default the version that's running is Android 7.
3 - Created a new instance with Android 5 and stopped the instance that is running Android 7.
4 - Started Android 5 instance and installed Amazon Appstore. I logged in with my amazon account (Note - I do not see any check box that prompts to keep me logged in)
5 - Installed Clash of clans from within the Amazon app store and launched it. I'm still getting the same issue - unable to run clash
I believe that clash of clans is either getting tied up/mapped to google or not binding to Amazon appstore somewhere in the settings. Can someone please assist me on this?
Clash Of Clans is downloadable from multiple app stores, do a Google search for "Clash Of Clans APK".

In settings/security is unknown sources is ticked?
But I suspect something else...
Play store is ok, i ticked unknown sources and i downloaded games from other pages or may be nexus 5 can't run it??

If it's ok from the Play Store, why would you install the apk alone, I mean from another site Use these games downloaded from the Play Store.
Maybe your apk's are messed up or incompatibles because cracked, and this is not allowed here on XDA...
Or they are older versions, the Nexus 5 can play these games (at least from the Play Store)...

It may have just been me, but I had no idea there were unlisted games in the play store. I accidentally do a search in there and up pops 3 to 5 games that aren't among the regular dozen. They're seemingly not android tv optimized, but they're there none the less.

You can install any app that otherwise wouldn't be blocked due to lack of a feature (such as touchscreen)
All the tv store does is not give an easy way to navigate to an app not whitelisted on the tv store.
Just go to the web site, and tell it to install chrome, it should install but it doesnt actually work with the remote (i've tested this on my ADT1, the NP should be no different)
Yeah i've already got chrome and side loaded a few apps. I was still just surprised to find hidden apps. I would buy modern combat 5 but mc4 controls lag.
I wanted to download warband again to the portable after i rebought it (first one had too mmany issues and got refunded as the store didn't have it anymore)
But when i now want to download the game from the play store i get some weird issues here:
1: play.google.com shows the game as "installed" which means i own the game but the shield portable is not in the list even when i just added my google account onto it
2: When i first entered the appstore to download the game, it then says the payment failed like the shield thinks i don't own the game.
the heck is happening here? I also just updated the portable to the latest update.
Hi, So I've Gotten the Play store on my kids Fire 7 literally just to get an already paid for Minecraft App from the play store on the Fire 7.
Play store and Minecraft work fine in the standard profile but Minecraft won't show as available content to add to the Fire for Kids profile.
Is it even possible?
What we found when we ran stock + play store was that Google-installed apps didn't ever show up under the kids profile. What we ended up doing is installing a completely different ROM.

I'm absolutely loving this phone but I've been having one issue lately, I never played games on phones before I got this beauty but I'm becoming addicted to them now, when I try to sign into a game using Google play I just receive a white box with a loading animation and I can't sign in, the two games I'm having issues with are shadowgun legends and ark, exact same issue but you can't play ark at all without connecting it to Google play, I've tried everything I can think of;

My phone is rooted with twrp and I've ran out of ideas the problem either started at some point or it only effects certain games because I have managed to sign into some games but I believe it stopped working at some point rather than effecting certain games
