Figured I'd try replacing the battery, it's been about 3 years and I'm at like 80% health or so.
Does anyone know if any of these are worth trying?

From the ones I've seen the Nohon one has the most and best reviews but I've also read on reddit and other places some comments that they're not that good. Is there any difference or all the same just different brand?
I'm using Nohon ATM. It's fine but not perfect. After 2-3 weeks battery condition dropped to ~90% and its holding this from few months. Other and for sure not genuine. I have replaced my battery because it has under 70% health.

I guess I will try the Nohon as well. The rest are cheap enough as well where I can try them if the Nohon one doesn't work.
My battery is around 80% and it discharges super fast even when not in use, so that's why I'm thinking of replacing it. Thanks
There is one more thing worth mentioning. With Nohon battery charging over 20W is not working.
Oh well, that's not that bad, only 10 less than the warp charger

I ordered the first link back in November (2022 100% Original New Replacement Battery 4000mAh BLP699 For OnePlus 7Pro) and it appears to be OEM. Different manufacturer from my original battery, but so far it seems to be providing the full 4000mAh and dash charging is working fine. Battery manufacture date was October 2022, which is brand spanking new. It also comes with some of the tools required.

So far so good.
How do the batteries you bought hold up? I am currently at 55% original capacity and cannot decide what to buy...

I bought a BLP745 for my 7T Pro from the same AliExpress store as you, my battery was also dated October 2022. I did the swap yesterday and last night was the first charge to 100%. So far two hours have passed since I unplugged and I'm at 97%. With my original battery, I would have been at around 85% by now. I'm using accubattery to see what the capacity of the new battery is, I'll report back in a week or so. I have yet to try warp charge also, never really used it previously to be honest. I usually just let my phone slow charge over night for the past three years.

In the last month and a half, very solid. Accubattery is reporting 104% of design capacity.

Nice. Make sure you do a few full drain to 0% and recharge cycles to calibrate. I had some shutoffs at 20% before I did the full cycle calibrations

Appreciate the information shared here. I'm pretty sure that I need to do this for my 7 Pro soon.
The Ali Express site is showing estimated delivery of July 15 (I'm in the NYC area). Has anyone found a reliable source for these batteries with faster delivery to the US?

I received this battery from Amazon last weekend. LG Optimus 2X G2x P999 Black Battery Door With 2700mAh Battery I'm on my second charge cycle (actually 13% left before I charge on the second cycle) and my phone has been up over 2 1/2 days, see screenshot.
I got lucky and then sent me a 3500mAh battery instead of the 2700mAh one advertised. Total cost to me was $8.74. Cheap enough and the larger battery more than makes up for the larger battery cover. After a couple of days, I barely notice the larger size.

How come…
Grats... Enjoy the battery!
Thanks. While I don't use my phone as much as I used to since I got my tablet, the battery life is amazing.
lol, in for one. At $8 its worth a try.
I just bought one off of Ebay yesterday. Supposed to be here Monday. Looking forward to it.
Received mine a few days ago. EASILY tripled my battery life, (coming from the Andida 1980mAh, running Owain CM9 beta, with Harsh kernel). $8 well spent, thanks!
I got that battery a month or two ago, at first it worked great, after 20 cycles or so the battery just tool a big dump. I mean yeah it still lasts last longer than the stock battery but it last half if what it originally started at

That's my question for anyone who buys the el-cheapo extended life batteries, how long do they really last? I can't see paying $8 every month cause the battery won't hold a charge after that time.
Anyone know any good ones?

I bought my Anker 2800mAh on April 26, 2012. It's been almost a full 2 months into its life and still functioning as well as it did when I bought it. Get close to 45-46hrs of function going from a full 100% down to the teens. Mind you my usage will be different than yours (as it always is the case), but I can't complain about my new battery at all.
I've had this battery for almost a month now. I'm still getting 2+ days use out of it. No sign of`lessened use. Am still happy with this purchase.
I actually made a video for this battery, or I assume its the same one.. I ordered the 2700 because I didn't like the way the 3500 curved but I ended up getting the 3500 and you adjust to it pretty quick, got mine months ago still holding up strong, can get easy 40 hours on my kind of usage when its moderate and on heavy usage (my style) 24-28 hours.
I've had a pair of these batteries for close to 8 months now. I I have to say between the two they ate amazing ith equally consistent results. I usually get around 30-35, hey usage most I've gotten out of it surprisingly was a little over 80hrs! With light usage.

I got the 2700 mAH battery and have had it for two days. Charged it first time fully and used and got a whole 14 hours out of it. Charged again fully and left it on charger after showing full for another 3 hours. Shut the phone down and wiped battery stats and restarted. Still getting questionable life. With the stock battery runn HFS 1.8 and the latest Harsh kernel OC'd to 656 Min and 1400 max and UV'ing as well I used to get about 10 hours off of a stock battery. Now I am seeing 14 with the 2700 mAH. Granted the OC doesn't help but I should be seeing more than 4 hours. No?

Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with Hyperion extended batteries for the Galaxy S4?
http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Sams...F8&qid=1386316276&sr=8-1&keywords=s4+hyperion
I'm going to be ordering one soon but thought I should ask about the performance and experience by people who may have used it. It says that the battery now has NFC, can anyone using it confirm if it is true?
The battery has positive reviews on Amazon. Can anyone also tell how fat does the S4 get when used with the battery? Also what timings are you guys getting with the battery? Is an external case needed to avoid any ugliness or anything?
All this and if you have anything to else to add would be of great help.
I had a Hyperion with my s3 and it was a good battery. They have great customer service. It seemed like it started draining a little more than normal at 6 months or so but it could have been my imagination or poor cell signal. I emailed them for help/info and they rushed another battery out free of charged. Was willing to send the old one back but they told me to keep it.
I'd definitely buy from them again. I did get mine on Amazon like most things I buy. Went with a 3000 mah zero lemon for my s4 due to size. Lots of nice cases for stock size phones. Would love an extended waterproof case.
Curious about this as well. I had one for my Galaxy Nexus and it was great. Made the phone usable for most of the day finally. This phone has been pretty decent on battery, but when I know I am going to be using it a lot more it would be nice to have the extra battery.

Hi,
I have had them for my S3 and now my S4.
I have one of the 5200's for my S4. I get at least
2 days out of it with 20-30% left on second day.
No complaints at all.
Ken
Likewise, I have used Hyperion extended batteries in my S3 and now the 5200 in my S4. No complaints except I would like to find a water resistant extended protective case.
I have the 7500mah battery for my phone. And I can say I'm very pleased with it. The case it comes with is actually easier to hold. I'd definitely recommend it. I actually got around 11 hours of screen time when I first got it!

So it's been three days since I received my Hyperion 5200mah battery. Although the correct battery timings and percentage maybe shown after 4-5 cycles of charge-discharge-recharge, I'll post the screenshots of mine and will post again after the 4-5 cycles...

The charge cycle said is to be 10-12 hours however the battery is charging to a full faster than the said time. Could it be because of the difference in voltage? If I'm not wrong, US uses 110v mainly and here in KSA we have 220-240v. Could it be because of this?
Got a quick question!
I was instructed to let the phone charge for 10-12hrs even if the phone shows 100% full charge notification. How did you guys charge it?
You are not forced to charge it that long on first charging process. I did it not and do not have any problems.
More important is that if you charge your phone from now on, you have to charge 1-2 hours longer (depending on battery size 5200 vs 7500 mAh) after you have reached 100%.

Hyperion has pretty good quality, and their warranty support is good. Anker is another good brand for the extended batteries. (They don't do cases though)
Hyperion has a really nice TPU case that fits over the extended battery..

Any news about screen time from you guys? That 9hrs screen time seems a bit ungodly
So i got a Note 4 recently and immediately went for the Mugen Power 6640 mah extended battery. I just missed the FedEx truck today, hopefully i can swing by there tomorrow or else i will have to wait til monday. The battery life on the Note 4 is pretty good, coming from my HTC One M7, and the quick charge is VERY nice, but i really think i need this extended battery.
I will be posting some results from my experience with pictures of course in the coming days, as soon as i get my hands on the thing that is.

How have you found the battery life? Reason I'm asking is because I've tried the Anker 6440 extended battery and unless I didn't "condition" it properly I didn't see much of a better battery life than stock battery. Why I'm returning it.
For me gonna try the cheap battery cases like the knock off Mophie types from eBay and Amazon.
Last night I tried to kill it from a full charge. I got over almost 7.5 hours of screen on time mostly just running cpu+gpu stability test within full brightness, GPS, wifi, Bluetooth enabled with sync going every 15 minutes.
That's pretty good. For me I don't find much difference so I'm returning mine but glad you're getting better results than me. I also have the zerolemon 10,000 mAh beast but way too bulky for normal use.
Hopefully my cheap power bank battery cases come soon and I can try it out. For $17 shipped I figure not much to lose
Also you probably get what you pay for there. The Mugen is a $90 product, the Anker is a $30 product. You can't possibly think they are the same quality even though they are both rated the same capacity.

Kinda like i was saying before, with lithium ion stuff and also varying types of battery packs chemistry, usually you get what you pay for. I've used Mugen products on my Tmobile G2, HTC Evo 3d, and my One m7, all performed the same for the 2 years i had the phone, the cheap ones don't last the length of the contract.

That's true I guess but I've tried both Anker and Hyperion extended batteries and they're supposed to be reputable companies. And both don't seem to last as long as their advertised battery sizes. For me I'm not willing to pay $90 to get a few extra on screen hours (I'm averaging about 6 hrs OST with stock battery)

I'm sure I could get a lot of screen on time with normal use like power saver with auto brightness. Remember those numbers I got with screen on are maximum power consumption, max screen brightness, wifi, GPS, Bluetooth with a benchmark running both cpu and gpu at the same time. I guess it would be useful to see how long the stock battery does under the same conditions to get the big picture. 7.5 hours under those conditions has to translate to much more with power saver reducing cpu usage and auto brightness. I don't need full cpu speed unless I'm playing games.
thanx for sharing
I am still in the process of conditioning the battery. It stays at like 1% for 3 hours of full brightness screen time on the stabilty test cpu/gpu app. It's very good battery life so far. Will report back when i get everything together. Heres a couple teasers.

Hi - Our OPO phones are starting to show their age.
I started researching BLP571 replacement batteries, and many of the sources I found have pretty lousy reviews for battery quality.
Has anyone purchased a BLP571 from a supplier that you are happy (or not happy) with?
Thanks!

I have just been having a problem with my OnePlus and the battery stats - the phone was not lasting long, the % readout was not moving for some time then falling and switching off before it reached anywhere near 0%.* I suspected the battery might be failing and had installed Accubattery (updated to Pro with some Google Play gift credit they offered me) and it suggested the battery was now only @2000mAh so have been looking for a replacement.
(* I'm using the excellent Sultanxda Unofficial CyanogenMod 13.0 with 3.4.0 kernel whose battery stats have been very good and whose ROM is super-stable.)
I have been told that a lot of the 'Chinese' OnePlus replacements are not all that good and do not meet the original specifications and sometimes actually even ship used batteries and I didn't want that sort of headache.
I found a seller of aftermarket batteries in Germany (I'm in the UK) and bought a 'VHBW' branded BLP571 from them through ebay. Shipping was fast and I installed it in the phone this afternoon (17th December)

I could not turn the phone on as the battery came discharged and it took @2½ hours to charge to 100% (I did this with the phone switched off). I powered up and deleted the battery stats from Accubattery and will monitor it carefully. I'm pleased to see that it has ticked down from 100% to 97% after 10 minuets use as it was not doing that for the past month or so (I expect the battery stats to take some time to settle down - at least a few charge cycles)
So, the battery looks good. Certainly is not some second-hand junk, time will tell if it has the capacity of the original and I don't expect to know for a week or so. I will return to this thread from time to time to report back. Hopefully it will be good news - but to answer your original question I am very happy with the supplier!

What makes this interesting is that it's most likely a brand new battery since it's not from the OEM. Give it a week and report back. You can also use GSam Battery monitor to record the stats. If this is good enough, you can probably post it over at \ACCESSORIES\ for some more publicity.
I had my battery for 1 year and im down to 3 hours sot i might buy that battery that you got from ebay
Same here I am also wondering should I change the battery or upgrade to OP3T
First charge done and I'm happy so far. Battery lasted much longer before needing a charge and the % remaining seemed more accurate than the old one at least!
I'll see over the next few days the real battery capacity - but it's not too bad!

I found a seller of aftermarket batteries in Germany (I'm in the UK) and bought a 'VHBW' branded BLP571 from them through ebay. Shipping was fast and I installed it in the phone this afternoon (17th December)

Thanks for the info, @Voyager03!
I wish I could get these in the U.S., but it looks like the manufacturer doesn't ship here. Good info for the folks on your side of the pond, tho!

That is the same seller. The delivery was quick and the product seems perfectly good.
I don't know if it is as good as the original battery but I didn't measure the capacity of that when I got the phone new.
I've had a good charge all day and put it on to charge again now - but I was using the phone a lot to see what happened. In normal (moderate) use I would guess I would be back to 18 - 24 hours between charges.
Voyager03, any update about your battery? how was it so far?
Should we consider order it as well? thanks!

It's been fine, far better than the worn out original was. If you need one I'd say it's a fine choice as a replacement.

It was not hard, I followed an online guide. The original battery is stuck in there pretty firmly though - take care getting it out!

Can you give me your average sot for your new one and your old one please?
Accubattery said the old battery was @1900mAh and the new one is @2800mAh.
But more than that the phone was not working at all well with the old original - the % charge was not displaying properly, would stick at 100% for ages before falling and then switch off suddenly and well before it reached 0%. Then when plugged in to recharge started at 60%, 30% or wherever it was when it powered off and then was 100% is a short time.
The new battery % 'reads' correctly enough. I've not been able to let it go completely flat as I charge when I need some time away from a convenient plug.
The new battery is much better - and there is little alternative anyway. If anyone knows where to get an original 3100mAh cell then I would like to know!

Fake Battery available on internet looks like this:
Many retailers report that the batteries come from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, it's not true I checked 3-4 batteries like this in picture. All batteries had almost 50% real capacity.
My almost 3-years original he328 battery have best capacity like below:
I've decided to test the battery from aliexpress Wonkegonke
This first charge cycle I am positively surprised at the performance of this battery.
I hope the information will help you fix many phones.
This post will be edited next time. Almost 20hrs usage.
Almost 24hr from last charge. Phone used normally without any issues
I end day like with my Nokia 8 with original HE328 battery.
Ok i want to show you battery health "WonkeGonke" from aliexpress after 4 sessions.
additionally, I checked battery capacity via ADB in PC:
Real capacity is 2829 Mah 91% from 3090 Mah. This is good capacity i think
Thank You
Thx man :good:... nice to know that when my battery dies I wouldn't have to throw away my beloved Nokia 8
quick question... what app r u using to measure the capacity?
This app is named AccuBattery is installed from Google Play. Nokia 8 is one of phones which can measure battery capacity almost accurately
Uh, "Genuine" looking fake batteries are in action as always ?. I learned what means genuine battery a couple of years ago. Most of them haven't the nominal capacity as it supposed. Beside this fact, they haven't a proper NTC resistor (which is temperature sensor). I want to ask a question even i know the answer (maybe it makes me surprised). Could you check battery temperature with different scenarios (daily and heavy) via AIDA64 and post the screenshots here?
I can check that, although as I remember, one of these batteries displayed the temperature probably correctly.

Design capacity seems to be 3500 so at 2800 seems to be at 80%? The question if it will stay there. I cannot find the link in Aliexpress by the way
For better marketing, the manufacturer gives overstated parameters.

can confirm is the battery temp sensor always stays at a fixed temp or it is actually working?
i bought 3 times the battery my Nokia 8. All of them only have around 1400~1500mAh and the temp sensor always showing 27deg.
Further testing found out all the fake batteries can't do Quick Charge at 7v,9v, or 12v. It only can do 5v 3A charging.

I experienced this problem on my old Zenfone 2. All batteries i bought were fake. They all had same capacity (2400mah) and fixed temperature. It was really hard to decide which is fake/genuine.
After several years, my NB1's battery is getting older and probably I'm gonna replace the battery in a year. So it would happen again and it's good to know which one is fake. Can you post the links you bought from or images of the battery? It would be really appreciated and helpful for us?.

I bought from Shopee Malaysia. I see most of the seller posted the item image is different than actual product received. From the picture you can see the bottom of the fake one is different. And the fake capacity battery is half the thickness of the original battery. Anyway, I ordered the WONKEGONKE brand from their shop in AliExpress. Will try out and update here.

My fake batteries always quick charged. When I'm at home I will check how wonkegonke behaves.
Wonkegonke is one battery what working better than any other fake. Please provide accubattery stats.

Much thanks brother for all you work and information. So here's is my story, same problem, some said software issue, Google Services and its fellows, OTA, even holy motherboard.
But after wondering and desperately hunting internet, I finally found the culprit and replaced battery from a local store, it was exactly like you posted and that old one on the device, again after around 7 months, now I'm having same issues, so was planning to go visit official nokia care and get replaced despite the cost, but just moment ago, saw a comment posted by an indian user having same issue even after replacement from a Nokia Care Center.
So i want to consider this time, is that one from aliexpress that good ? and working fine till date ?
