Hello everyone im glad to be at your presence but not for great issue.
Ive bricked my tablet, softbricked that turned into hardbricked. Long story short:
1 unlocked boot loader
2 installed twrp
3 installed wrong version of postmarketos
4 cannot boot into OS but in recovery mode
5 in recovery mode Ive updated twrp with a unstable version
6 cannot boot in recovery mode
7 cannot boot into twrp, cannot boot already into OS
8 RESULT: completly fail, not recovery mode, not twrp, not os. Only bootloop samsung logo and the message warning that the boot loader is unlocked, forever.
9 solutions failed count: pushing buttons to enter download / recovery mode, using fastboot from the pc, using adb from the pc in both cases the program awaits devices forever never showing the brick, already change usb port and cable.
your samsung device have fastboot? sure it's sd-t510?
Hello, sorry i mean sm-t510
Im not sure if it has it , but I have run it from windows as last resort to unbrick the device, I ve run adb but nothing.
Re-flash tablets's Stock ROM by means of ODIN. Requires matching Samsung's Android USB drivers gets installed on PC.
you don't need adb. you can enter odin download mode when tablet is powered off completely. hold volume down + power for ~ 30 sek to force power down. if nothing works let battery drain (may take up to ~ 7 days)
when device is powered off, press and keep holding Volume down + plug in usb wall charger until you see blue screen. then press volume up to confirm odin mode. you can now let charge for ~ 5 min
for flashing connect to PC, install drivers, use Odin3 for full flash BL + AP + CP + CSC.
Note the current bootloader level is important when flashing stock ROM. you can't downgrade bootloader, choose wise which Android version you want to flash.
for example
RP SWREV: B:5 = 5
T510XXU5CVG2 = 5
https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-T510
IT cannot, by any means login in bootloader or dowload mode. I already tried pushing and mantaining vol up + power button and any other combination.

Already did that, i gets in the same loop, even I disconnected the battery , reattched it , let it run dry, just connecting the power cable. Everything went to bootloop forever until the battery run dry.
if you disconnected battery (you did open back cover?) press and keep holding Volume down + plug in usb wall charger + connect battery (in this order)
you can use a hair tie or something.
other combination for older Samsung devices: Volume Down + Home + Power
the volume keys determining boot mode are read from aboot_init() function. this is way before boot or recovery mode is loaded. if you can reach boot-loop, for sure you have passed aboot before.

Im for sure that I ve pushed the vol down , vol up+ power, the vol up and down combination in the exact same order you gave me and it keep looping for centuries
... then fix your volume down button
as I said odin mode is decided from sboot. it will work. unless you flashed modified sboot* with download mode forcefully disabled, like retail or MDM software.
*partition name varies abl/sboot/aboot/uboot/lk
press and keep holding before device get powered on by USB plug:
- VOLUME_DOWN and HOME keys for old samsung devices
- VOLUME_DOWN key for new samsung devices
Update: I gave you wrong advise. This tablet is bit different from other Samsung devices. as you already pointed out it requires both volume keys for download mode.

UPDATE: With the right timing, you can break out of a boot loop into Download Mode...but it's tricky:
Insert USB Type C cable connected to your PC
Press and hold the Power and Volume Down keys for exactly 7 seconds (hard reset)
Release the Power key and press and hold both Volume Up & Down keys (enter Download Mode)
If you don't see the blue bootloader unlock warning screen, keep repeating the above two steps
The trick here is that you're trying to time your switch to the Download Mode keys for the exact moment the hard reset takes effect. If you see the boot logo while still holding the first key combination, it's too late. If you switch too early, you won't trigger the hard reset.

It took me an eternity to enter in dl mode. It is so annoying. Thank you for the pain is relieving, now i can sleep.
But, it is recognized by odin added, and is stuck in setup connection.
re-install drivers. maybe use another usb 2.0 port. try older version of Odin3.
https://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows
https://odindownloader.com
Now it says unknown usb device, on windows, device descriptor request failed , in device manager
same for every usb port? do you have oem samsung cable? boot linux from pendrive and double check with 'lsusb'

Yes, my guess is that after 24 hours in dl mode, the tablet is going unstable
there is mentioned a timeout not sure this affect the device descriptor, though. you should see something like 04e8:685d device, without that usb connection you can't flash anything.
Now that you know how to enter download mode, should be no problem to repeat.
note there is a fork of heimdall with precompiled binaries for windows/linux you can try (in case Odin3 deny flashing even on successful connection)
https://github.com/amo13/Heimdall/releases
The thing is that the exact timing for entering dw mode is like win the lotery. I managed to enter in it only 2 times in 2 weeks. Technically is not bricked but practically it is... I cannot enter it anymore.
I believe usb port plays a role here. forget the power button, only use volume keys + usb cable to power on. maybe replace usb jack pcb board?

Hi,
today in the morning I couldn’t turn on my S7. It went off while charging overnight. Then I tried to hold the volume down and the power button together for twelve seconds and the S7 turned on. Unfortunately it just boots to the Samsung logo and nothing happens since then.
I wrote to the Samsung support and they told me to send it in. And they also said that I will lose my warranty if I make a hard reset. Is that true? Because the other thing is, that I really need some very important data from just one app. I already did a hard reset in the past and the data from this app didn’t get lost. I don’t know why (no cloud synchronization) but it worked. My plan was to try a hard reset but my phone is fully charged and I cannot turn it off to get into Recovery mode.
So basically I have three questions:
1. Will I lose my warranty if I do a hard reset?
2. Is there any possibility turn off my phone or to unload my battery? (And after that to try a hard reset.)
3. Does anyone have any idea how to save some date by any other way?
Thank you very much for any help!
Samsung are full of sh** if they told you you would lose warranty by performing a full reset, nothing of the sort
Warranty is checked by KNOX 0x0 = valid (Or 0x1 if it is tripped) which is only tripped by flashing something custom / rooting
Try booting into recovery and clearing only the caches, see if you can get back in that way
Otherwise, flashing the same stock ROM over the top with ODIN may work
Thank you for your answer.
Any idea how to boot into recovery mode? The problem is that in the moment I cannot turn off my phone and it's fully charged. I guess it would last some days to wait until the battery is empty. And unfortunately you can't remove the ****ing battery.

Volume up & Home & Power
Keep those buttons held in until the phone reboots, continue holding them and it should reboot a 2nd time, this time hopefully entering recovery
You can try the same for download mode, which is the same combo, only volume down instead of up

I did this combo. Following message did pop up:
"Warning
A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications. If you want to download a custom OS, press the volume up key. Otherwise, press the volume down key to cancel."
First i pressed the volume down button and then nothing happened and it booted again until the Samsung logo. In my second try I pressed the volume up button and now I am here (see attached pics).

Well that's download mode where you can flash the stock ROM with ODIN, so you can at least flash stock again, which may work, but I would try recovery first though, the first combo I posted with Volume Up

I tried the combo with the vol up key and I came to the exact same menu which I described above. (Then I pressed the volume down key and the phone boooted to the Samsung logo).
Now only the combo with the vol down key works. If I press vol up + home + power nothing happens. I don't get this ****.

OK, it's possible that recovery got corrupted then
Right, so grab a stock ROM from here
http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?q=G930F
Extract and Load the .MD5 into ODIN AP section
Put the phone into download mode and hit start
It should reboot hopefully into a working OS
if not, try entering recovery again
ODIN

No, as I said earlier, warranty is only affected if you flash something custom
Stock Samsung ROMs are not custom
For a very short time my phone startet adnroid, but everyhing was black und I just saw the notifications bar. I couldn't do anything. After that my phone did a reboot and now I am again at the Samsung logo. The combi with vol up still doesn't work.

You managed to download and flash a stock ROM in that short time?
Might need to flash the entire set of files from the ROM download in ODIN, which I think might reset the phone with one of them (HOME I think)
EDIT - Another option would be firmware recovery using SmartSwitch
http://www.samsung.com/uk/smart-switch/samsung-desktop-app.html
Good day.
Recently happened to me something similar, while i was playing, the phone rebooted and got stuck at samsung logo.
The phone was rooted, with TWRP and Xposed.
Really don't know what happened. At the time, in panic, i flashed a stock ROM and the phone never booted again. Just a blank screen and a blue led.
I sent my phone to Samsung for warranty and 1 month later (5 days ago), got it back working, even with KNOX 1x0.
In most of Europe, Samsung cannot charge you anything even if the phone was rooted, with the exception if it was root that directly caused the malfunction.
I am having the same problem. the combo with Vol up does not work. Any further help, PLEASE?

I am not sure how to install CWM,i am actually trying to do that too,but i can help you unbrick your phone.
1. Download Xperia Companion and install it http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/xperia-companion/
2. Run it,and go to software repair, follow the steps until the program requests you to connect the usb to your computer
3. When you get to that part, hold volume UP and the Power button for around 10 seconds and your phone should vibrate 3 times
4. When your phone vibrates, stop holding that buttons and connect your phone to usb while holding volume DOWN and Power button and wait for it to repair your phone
This will delete all of your data but there is no other way(or i haven't heard of it)
Good luck unbricking your phone!
didnt help

i did it exactly like you said but rly nothing happened yes phone vobrates 3 times after i hold volume down and power button connect to pc for 5 min and nothing ... should i try it more time or its time to throw the phone ?
when xperia companion wants you to plug phone in usb do that vibrating thing and let the buttons go after the third vibrate and wait for 5 seconds and then connect phone to pc with volume down and power button and when you connect it let the buttons go and your phone should turn on the green led light(or some other color, idk,it is green on my phone) and follow the instructions that xperia companion tells you to do

when you come to the vibrating part and you need to plug in your phone to computer hold ONLY VOLUME DOWN BUTTON,without the power,it was my mistake, you only need to hold the volume down, and then connect the phone to pc while still holding the volume down and you should see a green led light on your phone and then let the volume button go and just follow the setup

If your phone is connecting by Flash mode (green LED and turns off) you may use unofficial flashtool and select the XF icon. You have to select your phone name and model (Xperia E3 and D2203). Then choose any rom (the latest one is 18.5.C.0.25) from any country and click on the information next to Available Firmware adn Download it.
Back in the flashtool open lighting icon, select Flashmode. A list will display, select your rom and check all the squares.
Wait. Some time later it will say to connect your phone, do that and tell me if works.

Try to install PC companion to fix that
Hello,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy A20e, model name : SM-A202F/DS
First I unlocked the boot-loader,
then I flashed a TWRP custom recovery that I downloaded here :
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Nbrmn7BgA3BxA1bqnLXYMuCY4KjpR0Vn/view
The custom recovery was working well. I tried to flash an another kernel in order to flash another system (various Android GSI I could find).
Apart from one kernel that seams to be flashed correctly from TWRP, no System would boot at any time.
So I decided to go back to the stock ROM of the phone temporarily.
To do so I found one on the internet, went to Download mode, and tried to flash it with Odin (v3.14.1).
The flash was unsuccessful. At that point I came with a blue screen (similar to download mode) telling me that I should use Samsung emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.
I installed this software (made all updates available) and went to the dedicated section. Unfortunately, no phone could be detected for recovery. But the PC could still detect the phone at that time.
So I decided to flash just the kernel (from stock archive) with Odin if I remember well. (unchecked other parts).
And since that, my phone is bootloop-ing when I plug it to the computer.
The screen first displays classic Samsung logo with model phone name and warning due to unlocked boot-loader.
And 2 seconds later, a little portion of the screen (top left) displays a message starting with:
“KERNEL REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 3, BI…” I can’t read the rest due to the front camera placement. I found results on the internet that it could be “kernel rev check fail-device:3 binary:x boot” for example. This message and only the text part is “backgrounded” with the same color as the Download mode blue color. And 5 seconds later the phone reboot for the same sequence.

I found a post on this forum, telling it could be due to damaged power button. I opened the phone, unlike the side panel buttons cable from the motherboard, same result.

There're obviously an Android and an iOS version available but they are paid applications.
It is paid but you don't need to pay for it, you can still use it without paying, It will still get you into download mode, that's free
Hey guys,
I just brought my phone (samsung SM-a202f) back from the dead it was stuck in emercency mode (asking to connect to smart switch) after I did something wrong flashing TWRP. I did it a million times but appearently I screwed up because my phone was stuck in the emercency mode bootloop and Odin did see the phone in emercency mode, but could not flash stock rom with or without bootloader.
I knew I had the right firmware (thanks to samfirm) and found the PIT file in the SCS .tar.md5 file. Just remove the .md5 of the name of the scs file and then unzip so you have the PIT file. What you do is feed that to odin under the pit tab and then use Odin like you normally would use it to flash a complete Rom on it.
Hope this helps someone. Happy 2022!
Hello,
Recently ive tried to root my samsung galaxy a51 using this tutorial: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...1-sm-a515f-one-ui-3-0-dub1-android-11.4231543
everything went smoothly, however my finger has slipped from the volume up button at step 6. resulting in an endless bootloop.
ive tried to enter recovery mode, but theres no response, it flashes the logo for 1 second, a warning that says my bootloader is unlocked and that im using unofficial samsung software.
the only response i get from the phone is when i try to enter recovery mode while the phone is charging, i insert the charger, instantly press volume down and the power button and the charging circle appears, when i let go of the volume down and power button it once again starts going into the bootloop mode
ive tried plugging in my phone to my pc but theres no response
i dont believe that its hard bricked because of the charging circle that appears
any advice?
tysm
Let the battery die, and just try to boot to download mode at the instant when it is plugged into a charger.

Hey! I had the same exact issue and have figured a simple method to fix this. Just hold the power button+ the volume down button at the same time while having your phone plugged into any computer or a wall plug (computer recommended).
Once you do that you will notice the phone has shut down and gave you either a black screen or a charging logo, Both are good. Then wait for 1 second then hold down the power button + the volume up button and it should take you straight to the recovery mode options that might look like this.

Once you are there, Use the volume up to click reboot system now. However if you see different options it might be because you have another model of android, Older models etc... But if you don't see anything appear you might have corrupted your bootloader or recovery mode menu. I do not know how to fix the corruption but if none of these worked, Try again without a charger. Best of luck.
Hope this helps!!!
Unfortunately, this just happened to me too, also I followed the same thread as mentioned above, However I'm still able to get into twrp recovery after some tries. I will try to flash some ROM maybe it will fix it.

How to drain battery in the most quickest way ?
Hi. I try to boot the device to recovery mode but unable to enter recovery mode I'm sure I did the right way as per YouTube a description but still unable. did Samsung change the way to enter recovery mode?
It would be better if you mentioned what exactly you did rather than say you did it correctly. I hope you might knowing, now a days you needs to keep device connected to PC while reboot to recovery.
Power off device , then connect USB C cable to device. I connect my SanDisk SSD to the other end off the cable. It should work also with USB C stick.
Push volume up and power button and hold them till your device boots in recovery mode.
If you connect your device to a laptop ,it may start charging, making it more difficult to enter recovery mode.

In this case, don't power off but connect device to PC and reboot device (force reboot (keep holdingvol down +power) if you are in bootloop ) as soon screen goes blank, hold power + vol up and you will be in twrp
Go into Magisk.

Still the same, simple operation on my SM-S980U1(Android12): turn off the phone, hold both vol+ and power until you see displayed 'Samsung' - let the power button go and after a few seconds(keep pressing vol+) you should see the recovery mode screen right away.
The problem was from the USB cable after changing the cable the device can boot normally to Recovery
Thanks for all I appreciate your responses

Install Magisk anyway. You don't need to root. The options in my post will appear anyway.

My S22 Ultra (still on Android 12) does not require a USB cable to enter recovery. Just hold down volume up and power when turning on the phone.

I never heard it since A12 except, If you flash recovery/CSC OR If you select to reboot to recovery from adb/magisk/TWRP then it auto rboot to TWRP without connecting to PC
In rest of normal condition it does.

Perhaps it is only for people who have TWRP then? OR only Exynos? I have unrooted Snapdragon, and no USB cable is needed to get into recovery.

I don't think so
Which version you have?
Try rebooting to recovery from device booted on system just with combo key and check

I have a factory unlocked S 22 Ultra, model SM-908U1.
Did it yesterday with only using the volume UP button and the power button, in order to clear system cache. Did it again just now. Worked fine, just as it did on Note 10+ and on Note 8, etc.
Turn off phone.
Hold down volume UP button, then hold down power button at the same time.
When "Galaxy" appears (after Samsung), let go of power, but keep holding down volume UP.
After a few more seconds, recovery menu appears.
Phone is stock, purchased a this week. On October 1, 2022 Security patch.
May be it's only on "U" version
