Hello,
I switched from a Galaxy Note 8 to a Mi 10 Pro and want to run some Galaxy Apps on the Xiaomi like Game Launcher, Calendar etc.
My Mi10 Pro is rooted and im running xiaomi.eu stable rom. I tried to edit the build.prop to a Samsung device but I couldn't open the Galaxy Store because it's not compatible with my phone.
Does anyone have an idea how i get those apps working?
Thanks
Hey guys, I am trying to install TWRP on my Samsung Galaxy J7 neo SM-j701M (AKA Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt in India). What version of TWRP do you suggest I should go for ? I am confused because on TWRP, I see these two :
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016 Exynos) (j7xelte)
Samsung Galaxy J7 Exynos SM-J700 (j7elte)
I am thinking of trying the emboldened option, because the top one is 2016, and my phone was release 2017, however the one below says SM-J700 my version is SM-J70. I found a website with links to one but Its not from the official site and I don't want to get any malware.

Hello I am using an Infinix note 8i android device, which is the upgraded version of Infinix note 7 and infinix note 6 which are both supported by ARCore, while my device which is newer and uses a better GPU and better CPU and has and overall better camera and has same accelerator and gyroscope sensors as the inifinx note 7 isn't supported. So is there any way to install it on my device? I tried downloading the APK and installing it but then whenever I try any AR app it crashes.
I need it as I am working on an AR project and need to test it on my device to see if the application works correctly.
So is there any method to actually get the AR working? Even if rooting is needed I have no problem doing that as long as it will solve the problem.
Thank you fro your time.

hello
i received a small chinese tablet running android 8.1
model cy-801g
cpu mt6753
it seems not possible to update, do you have any suggestion for update to newer android version at least to be able to install netflix and disney + apps? only youtube and prime video are available
Updates ( patches to existing Android ) get rolled out by OEM if they deem it necessary.
What you probably have in mind is to upgrade existing Android. That requires to
1. flash a suitable Custom Recovery
2. flash a device matching Cutom ROM - by means of flashed Custom Recovery
thanks
I already did it in the past, but on samsung devices
here i’m in trouble even identifying the model and brand
I was thinking it was possible to install a custom rom based on chip model
SoC mt6753 is in many devices, such as
Lenovo Vibe K4 Note
Meizu M2 Note
Micromax Canvas 5 E481
ZTE Blade V7
Ulefone Be Touch 3
LG K10
Coolpad Note 3 Plus
Infocus M808
Infinix Note 3
HTC Desire 628
LG X cam
Elephone M2
Huawei Enjoy 5s
LYF Water 10
Infinix Note 4
Gionee S6
Coolpad Note 3

each device has it's own partition layout (scatter) different hardware and different kernel. so the answer is NO
Android 8.1 is perfectly fine for up-to-date device, nearly 10% of all devices running Oreo. where did you got the idea from netflix and disney+ won't work on Oreo?
when i try to install netflix and disney+ apps they won’t even show in play store, and when I try from a link it says the device is not supported
this is most likely caused by unlocked bootloader or other reason that makes google play certification fail. try Kdragon's Universal Safety Net Fix module on LSPosed.
