When I upgrade Android version, How the Apps gets refitted into the upgraded system? Are they reinstalled or modified to run in revised environment?
I currently have Honor 6 (H60-L04) and installed on it Android 5.1 Lollipop and EMUI 3.1 (plus custom recovery and root).
Honor 8 has standard Android 6.0 and EMUI 4.1.
Can I to make a copy of the everything (apps, data, the directory layout on desktops, ...) by system application on the current version EMUI 3.1 and then restore it on EMUI 4.1, or do I have to go earlier on android 6.0 and 4.1 EMIU?
I'd rather leave H6 android 5.1 because this version suits me more.
Titanium Backup drops out, because sometimes already moved his help everything between different devices and always something not restored.
Try HiSuite
Try the Huawei Phone Clone app, it is in the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hicloud.android.clone

Of course, I have root on 6 Honor and Honor 8.
Unable to Install Google Play Services Old Version.
Error: "Package appears to be corrupted".
I tried several versions.
I have a galaxy s7 exynos.
I want to install a version 12.2.21 or older.
The phone will update to the newest version itself. But if you want to install the old version, you have to uninstall all Play Store Services updates.
I'll take this topic to try to take away my doubt ...
On my S7 with the Oreo update, the "Google Play Services" service installed was the "recommended" version for Android version 6.0+.
Being the version of Android 8.0, went to APKMirror and I find the same service for the version of Android 8.0+.
Why does the system fetch the version for Android 6.0+ instead of version 8.0+?

Can anyone explain why the wrong choice?

Hi!
I recently unrooted and went back to stock s7edge (unrooted) bc of the oreo update and came across this:
https://www.goandroid.co.in/install-galaxy-note-8s-live-drawing-on-other-samsung-devices/82131/
which let me install live messages, which is a very addictive keyboard function from the note8 and note9 models
It installed without a problem, (the app version itself has a few problems like having to clear data to reuse it on messaging apps, or doing it from a search bar then sharing the gif there) and not having the latest options like snowflake writing etc...
I assume it has to do with the app signature or something... i tried going to apkmirror to find the latest versions of both the keyboard and live messages, seeing as it was already installed maybe it would let me update. It didnt work, all i got was an app not installed notification (installed from internal memory and allowed unknown sources thingie just to be sure)
Is there a way to get an updated apk of the latest version to install?
Thank you so much in advance!
Attached patrick drawing to show its functionality hehe
few extra info:
Android ver 8.0
Samsung experience 9.0
Samsung keyboard version 3.0.23.63 (according to apkmirror latest version is 3.2.40.52)
live messages version 1.2.12 (according to apkmirror latest version is 2.1.12)
Phone is stock unrooted
Hello, I have a Mi 9 SE with MIUI Global 11.0.2 and Android 9 PKQ1.181121.001. I'm trying to install Ivona or another natural sounding voice to listen to ebooks with Moon+ Reader. I don't know why it isn't working right now, I've installed it with the same files I had installed it in my previous phone, a Galaxy S6 with Android 7.0. The files I'm using are:
IVONA Text-to-Speech HQ 1.6.55.617 APK from apkmirror.
It doesn't have compatibility with Android versions greater than 5 but it works fine in my phone with Android 7.
Min: Android 1.6 (Donut, API 4)
Max: Android 5.1 (Lollipop MR1, API 22)
Target: Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich, API 14)
And the voices are the 1-click installer versions:
IVONA Kendra US English beta 1.6.23.422 from 1clickobbapk
It installs normally but it doesn't work. I want to know how can I install it for it to work or how to install another natural sounding tts engine that works in Android 9.
I've tried eReader Prestigio but I'm certain that app increases the risk of getting cancer, the voice is so bad it hurts listening to it. So I went back to use the other phone until I find a better alternative.
I've asked the person that created this thread and he said Ivona works for him on Android 9.
Any idea why it doesn't work for me?
I think it might be something about MIUI. It may be the security app which launches every time I install an app, but I don't know how to whitelist Ivona so the security app doesn't mess with it. If I can't install it in MIUI I guess I'll try rooting the device and installing the stock Android 9.
Well I've tried for too long now. What should I do to have stock Android 9. Root and install a stock Android ROM or change the phone for another one?
I did a factory reset and installed it again doing exactly the same as before and now it works. So I don't know what the problem was.
