Question How to create custom boot animation? - Realme GT Neo 2

So, I've searched around for a bit and found a program called "Bootanimation Factory", which seems to be the main way to make the boot animations, however, the official XDA post's download link is a 404 error. Any help?

HTC Dev Center Dead Links

I tried looking all over this forum as well as everywhere else I can think of but I cannot find the answer to my question.
I lost my T-Mobile G1 which was rooted and running cyanogenmod v4.2.6. I just received my replacement and in the process of rooting it and updating to the new cyanogenmod again, I found that the links on the HTC Dev Center site http://developer.htc.com/adp.html are all dead links, just plain text. I have downloaded the "1.6 Recovery Image" from here before, and now I do not know where else to find it.
Does anyone possibly have the file saved that could email it to me, or host it for download? I even called HTC tech support and they said that they do not host the dev website so they cannot help me. I would greatly appreciate any helpful input
Thanks

Very interesting. Back when the Google crackdown started, I was surprised HTC could keep a link with Goog apps up. Maybe this is the closing of that loophole.

What do you mean? The links to download still are not working...
I still have the 4.1.999 merged rom that has all google apps in it for easy an easier install just pm me if you want it.
well, the site looks different than I last remember it... but yeah the links still aren't working... sorry for not inclduing that in last post.
probably an incompatible browser
I've found that the HTC site won't work properly without IE. There is a popup window with the End-User License Agreement that you need to accept before the links are click-able. The site doesn't work in Firefox for me (though I have Adblock and No-Script installed), that could be the issue you're seeing.

The apps are licensed for use by htc on the adp1, so there's no loophole to close.

Boot animation will not change!!

I have put a bootanimation.zip file in every known directory that ive read about, ive also deleted every zip file with the word animation it it and i still have the stock uscc animation how do i get rid of it/change it.
what directory is this animation it?
Ive tried:
data/local
system/media
system/customize/resources---(doesn't exist)
Ive searched for animation in root explorer and deleted any bootanimation.zip or similar file.

You have to use a kernel that supports bootanimations.

Here is the guide tablador made:

Here is another that FB posted and said tablador linked him to:

I tried to do it myself. Edited the param.lfs file. Replaced the image. But bootlooped my phone trying the flash it...
Let me know if you get it working!
ADD: By the way - my smart ass post above (me trying to be funny) - I was on my phone at the time

I am planning on an update to that guide soon, now that I have my phone back. I think it may be safer to use a renaming method for the param.lfs image. That way you aren't copy/pasting a huge image file into the image manually.

This is the second time I've seen this posted in the last day. I believe erikkmm was the other. So I just looked and NO SEARCH BAR EITHER!? Maybe the mods got so pissed with us arguing and tell everyone to search that they removed it. Oh the irony. Seriously though does anyone no what happened to it??
There was a huge overhaul to the XDA app. Maybe they are just changing a bunch of internal stuff.

Yeah. I tried it on IE & Firefox to make sure it wasn't a browser specific issue. If you click on the Advanced Search button near the OS/Manufacturer search bar, you get an error stating: Searching has been disabled.
There's also a thread about it in the XDA General Discussion areas.

Yesterday the entire site was almost impossible to use. Didnt matter if you used a pc the app or tried to direct link via implants. I was met with errors and timeouts to the point I just gave up trying to read anything posted anywhere on xda.
