I tried looking all over this forum as well as everywhere else I can think of but I cannot find the answer to my question.
I lost my T-Mobile G1 which was rooted and running cyanogenmod v4.2.6. I just received my replacement and in the process of rooting it and updating to the new cyanogenmod again, I found that the links on the HTC Dev Center site http://developer.htc.com/adp.html are all dead links, just plain text. I have downloaded the "1.6 Recovery Image" from here before, and now I do not know where else to find it.
Does anyone possibly have the file saved that could email it to me, or host it for download? I even called HTC tech support and they said that they do not host the dev website so they cannot help me. I would greatly appreciate any helpful input
Thanks

Very interesting. Back when the Google crackdown started, I was surprised HTC could keep a link with Goog apps up. Maybe this is the closing of that loophole.

What do you mean? The links to download still are not working...
I still have the 4.1.999 merged rom that has all google apps in it for easy an easier install just pm me if you want it.
well, the site looks different than I last remember it... but yeah the links still aren't working... sorry for not inclduing that in last post.
probably an incompatible browser
I've found that the HTC site won't work properly without IE. There is a popup window with the End-User License Agreement that you need to accept before the links are click-able. The site doesn't work in Firefox for me (though I have Adblock and No-Script installed), that could be the issue you're seeing.

The apps are licensed for use by htc on the adp1, so there's no loophole to close.

Charly have you clicked the link for yourself? I don't know if it's workin for you, but when I click on it, it says '1 click web hosting' then there's a prompt to upload files. Nowhere on the page does it say 'download'. And yes, I have used rapidshare before. It's a pain in the ass.

Hi Guys. First of all i want to inform everyone who uses the Youversion Bible App that the NIV and NLT version are available for download starting today until tomorrow (Oct 30 - 31). That said, can someone Download these files and upload them to any file sharing sites (pref. mediafire) and post the links here? filenames are something like niv.1.sqlite3 and is usually stored in .youversion folder in your SD card.
BTW, im trying to download right now and its almost a whole day and its always 'saying file download cancelled'. I will still continue to try and If ever im successful I will also share these files here. Im just afraid that I may not be able to download these files within 48 hours. I hope you all understand my predicament.
I will pray that someone may upload those files here and all bible users may look on this thread if ever they need those versions again.
Thanks in advance

Hi Guys I'm a new Christian and have a blackberry, and I really want to have the offline version of the NLT, can someone please help me ? If you can upload the offline .db file I'd really appreciate it. I tried the the NLT.sqlite3 file above but it doesn't pick up on my phone, also the other offline version I have is in .db format and works perfectly. Or if someone can tell me how to convert the sqlite3 file to .db so that it would run on my phone, that would also be a great help.
Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know if the NIV 1984 translation (NIV84) has ever been made available offline?
Can anyone please share the niv84 with me? I really want it as offline.

The same thing happened to me and YouVersion could not help me. I appreciate these being posted, as I was searching for them for months.
If anyone ever needs them again, they are stored on my Dropbox account.
I have a jailed iPad, and I have the offline-NLT file, but how do I get it into my iPad Youversion app?! I know this is an Android forum, but the people on here seem to know how to extract the SQL file from the iPad/iPhone, and I have NO idea how the reverse is done...
I have just recently jail-broken my iPod touch and was wanting access files on it. I came across a windows software called iExplorer from Macroplant and I was able to move the downloaded NIV and NLT files directly to my un-broken iPhone 4s. They read okay so far but i haven't been able to update them yet, possibly because of lack of .copyright files. If anyone here can upload those to mediafire that would be great.
Just wanna ask if the NIV version is the same as the paid one on youversion?

I have this version. I can upload it to my dropbox account. I will post a link shortly.
I have a question for you guys. I recently got the HTC Evo 4G LTE and want to restore my offline versions that are no longer available to d/l. I cannot for the life of me find where they are kept on my new device. I know on my OG Evo that it was under .youversion, but I do not see that folder anywhere on my internal sd card nor external sd card. Could someone help me figure this out? Thanks.
Edit:
Can't post external links yet, pm me and I'll try and get them to you
Edit #2:
Nevermind, I found a sd card app that allowed me to view all folders, so I got them back in there.
Hello, I am new here and was wondering if someone might be able to help me. I have rooted my phone etc and spent hours with all the great info in this forum and have gotten to the part where I flash the ROM metrodroid 4.0 Although there is a link in this thread:

It does not work. When you click on it in the minus web site it kicks you to a different page and does not start a download. I have spent hours and hours trying to find this rom and it is only located here and all other threads direct me back to the same thread. If anyone can help me in any way I would appreciate it. I am stuck at this point with no way to get my evo shift fully flashed to metro. Thanks for your time in advance. If you need my email to send me it I will be more than happy to supply it.

I did search the site and did find that link which is this link from the developer that is found at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795182&page=01
But when you clikc on the download link it just boots you out to a different page on minus. The download doesn't start or anything. I did PM him but he probably gets a lot of that. But regardless I can't get it to download. If someone has it that would be great. I googled and there was no other mirrors or anyone else who uploaded it. Most I get from other forums is a link back to the same thread with the minus upload for metrodroid. Does anyone else have this same problem if you try to download with the link above? I tried 3 different computers with the same result.
Just ask somebody in the fourm to upload it to an other site.

The reason you can't download it is because the file no longer appears to exist on the minus.com website. I'd suggest sending a PM to the OP (Bloodykiller86) asking for advice as he may have a copy of that ROM somewhere.

The Wikipad has been rooted and there is also a ClockworkMod Recovery available. I take no responsibility for your actions. This a choice you are making. If you brick your device that's on you. That being said, these procedures have been successful so far.
This only works on the Wikipad 7 inch running Android 4.1.1 and using Windows 7 64-bit (32-bit should work as well). I've not tried this with 4.2.2 or Windows 10, nor I have touched my Wikipad in years.
Download this: Everything you Need.zip and follow the read me(s).

ordoeb, you've done the Wikipad community a great service. We now have full control over a device we love.
We now:
-Have a way to backup the device
-Restore the device (even in some "bricked" situations")
-Create Custom Roms
-And root the device

[SOLVED] I placed the original fastboot in the motochopper folder which probably didn't do anything. But since my android drivers are everywhere! I removed the adb_usb that was provided in the everything you need rar and used Google's USB drivers. Worked like a charm!

Hello guys,
I just received my Wikipad 7, it's a very great console without big audio lag unlike my Nvidia Shield...
Controls are excellent !
I just rooted my Wikipad, but I seen it's only a Tegra 3 T30L (not a T30S as described on first Wikipad Details before its release...)
So it's blocked at 1.3Ghz for 1 core and 1.2Ghz for 4 cores (instead of 1.5Ghz-1.4ghz as promised).
This tablet is a Nexus 7 clone lol So maybe an overclocked kernel is possible ? We can also dump the boot etc. with the ClockworkMod Recovery.
Thanks for your help.

Getting the Status 7 error and then after removing the 'assert' lines I get the Status 0 error.
Any ideas and happy to share this file.

Status 0 is where there is a problem with your update- binary. Replace the one you had with one from a different 4.4.2 ROM that you know works.

Can I assume that I should upload the files to something like spideroak or mega.nz and post the link here?
Appericate the assistance.

Sorry for the late reply. I have just started back at university and have two major assignments to finish by the end of the week.
I'll upload the files either today or tomorrow and post a link on here.
Again, thank you for help.
***for other new people to flashing etc***
As an update, got through process of using flashboot and sideload for the fist time which I am thinking of uploading a YouTube video on this which may explain a few things which has taken me a long time figure out by myself - or it could be just me???
I did get to a stage where I was stuck on the HTC logo and was still able to get into the recovery boot screen etc. I found out that I had at somestage while trying clockwork mod or cynogen, had deleted / formatted the system (sorry for the laymans terms). Anyway, managed to install an old stable cynogen mod rom on to the mobile which was fun for awhile until I wanted to update and the path / directories for the update weren't valid, giving me a status 6 error.
I thought it was a bit strange as the updater script was the same.
So I went back and reformatted the mobile through cynogen, wiping the cache / data etc and then used the ADB sideload to install the latest 2016 nightly cynogen mod which works. I will also say that it is a very good and basic version without all the Google rubbish.

The link for Silent Circle Source Code
Just go to the support.blackphone.ch website and search for "Where is Blackphone's source code"
This will take you to a github silent circle page

That's only for their apps by the way. Silent OS and PrivatOS are both closed source sadly

Sorry again for the late reply. Trying to finish off the assignments for university this weekend.
Re: Link (https) ota-update.blackphone.ch/blackphone-4.4.2-1449161691.zip
I received confirmation from Silent Circle that this is the latest - (I have an account with them)
Hoping the Mega file link works - let me know.
Blackphone OTA 4.4.2-1449161691.zip
Have a great weekend.
Mega link does not work as it asks for a decryption key.
OTA zip works, but within all files are dated June 2014.
Help Me please
I have the Blackphone BP1 model handset from silent circle,it's powerfull it's good for privacy privatos isn't bad for the anti privacy features side, but the lack of google services has driven me crazy,I'm an end user I try to contribute if I find any mods along my path to modding things and have placed some tutorials online in the past, xda forums included, but I have a bit of a dilema I'm no developer and I just cut my contract sim off I have a freedompop sim to my horror it uses google services to enable the app to use it this is not present in privatos can anyone instate google services for third party apps please or develop a moded rom to make it google so I can use my contract sim.

Basically the best way is probably modding a blackphone 2 firmware which has google play services to work with the blackphone bp1 device surely it can be done??? I'd do it if I were a developer but I lack any tuition in the field, but I'd love to learn how,the only drawback is I suffer short term memory loss only very few things stick in memory, they are usualy hands on repetition training,I am theoretically a computer technician but no formal certification, and I have picked up the modding thermal mods and software mods,eg.flashing and rebuilding rom based os's when damaged but this is a totaly different field for the uninitiated, android file structure alone is daunting enough to make me think it's too much to remember, but I allways persevere and that's the only life lesson or educational school lesson I remember a motto "perseverance is the key,if at first you don't succeed then try try and try again" And in modding I will happily sit a day and not give up then come back to it I'll persevere until I get the answer is no or wow it just worked, but I wouldn't often remember the exact process click for click,so when I hit the mark and figure it out I try to drop a tutorial out there for others, just hoping someone can help me here as I am absolutely out of my depth,I use other tools prefabricated to get my mods done and there are none in place I know for this phone,it's the only thing I have I can't get the better of right now.And it's kind of a challenge I want to win at lol.Any help would be advantageous guys so chip in if you can, must be thousands of people need help with this but lack the expertise.Pm me if you would like to offer some advice if you need to thanks in advance love the site and the passion the devs here show, just wish I could contribute more.:good: Pc and laptop diagnostics hardware software I'm here for you but development software wise it's above my head and I'm out of my depth unfortunately.Show me an inch of how and I'll somehow make a mile usually though.I'm MOD1T or modit as I call my self on youtube, formerly I went by ouyashimming lol,no idea why?Because I liked the novelty of ouya and trying to get the best from it before it dissipated as a brand. Now I'm into the shield android tv console, check it out forgive the lack of skills in the editing and my narration in videos but some one or two say nifty hardware mods in there.

Yes, it would be the best base. Blackphone may have put other proprietary feautures within PrivatOS that are incompatible with other phones (like in the kernel). Don't get your hopes up good luck though
