It may be possible to change the CSC to Vietnam, Thailand, or Indonesia on your phone issued after February 2022, but you need to recognize this.
The recording restriction is tied to Samsung's respect for local laws and the release of a single firmware for the entire region, not individual countries.
From what i understand call recording is a default feature in most phones these days...and the way to enable is when you are on a call....click on the 3 buttons at the top right corner....and click record call

Interesting! Show a screenshot of the CSC. You will find something like this in the service provider version information in the format xxx/xxx.xxx/xxx

The last IND on the right is the CSC.
Samsung amazes me, or the law in India has changed and you can legally call recording.
I don't think there ever was a law were phone calls could not be recorded....been using this feature on almost all Android phones i have had in the past few years...some on stock and some on custom....but j distinctly remember having this baked in to all stock ROMs....

kinda confused, i froze and then uninstalled tango, talk and alot of other apps that come with htc's a while back though, didnt even open them to find out what they do
can somebody please confirm that its a hardware that cant help us to have 3g native video call......
regards
3G Native calling is a feature that is missing from Android OS. Samsung & LG have done their own implementation on their phones to support it. The only device that I heard supports it in the HTC range is Sensation, but I haven't seen it in action.
Video calling on Android phones
Google is purposely not using native 3G video(non-data) calling because it wants to promote Gtalk, third party companies, and use of internet plans. Same with Sony etc. Extra revenue is their main aim.
But what's the use ? All other chat-apps offer video calling.
So google should introduce it by themselves in their new and old versions by default.
Hopefully LG patches this OTA asap!

I just confirmed this does work and bypass the security on my AT&T variant

As long as you don't select the option to allow Google to unlock your phone with your voice, this isn't an issue, nor is it's LG's problem.

Thanks for that. Maybe LG should hire you as calling them they said there was no fix and I don't remember ever turning that option on.... Going to have to test if someone elses voice can unlock it.

Exactly. This is a google issue.
This thread is so misleading, and so is the video. This can be done on all phones with the Google app on it. The setting has been there for a while. OP should at least make an edit to topic/post and/or switch the video into a PSA of sorts. Advice people on how the setting works and to give best practices like training their voice.

no doubt, trust zones keep my phone unlocked when at my home. keeps it unlock when it detects it is still on my person and hasn't changed hands, and many other trusted things you can set. turn these off and I bet he has a harder time unlocking
lol a joke.. without trusted voice my phone tells me it cannot be completed while device is locked..
ppl just never learn lol not a bypass at all
So if there's any confusion, it only works with what Google detects as your voice. I tested with multiple family members, and only one got it.
But he's my identical twin and our voices are almost the same.
Can someone else try having their SO or a buddy try to get in? Pretty sure they won't.

I don't know much about the call recording feature, but I know that it is basically illegal to record calls without prior consent in basically every state.
Are you sure that your state even allows it?

FYI- Only a dozen or less US states require both parties to be aware that a call is being recorded. The rest of the states and the Federal government only require one party (you) to know the call's being recorded. Here's a link:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_recording_laws
Its missing in the settings
please can any one help ?

Thanks... Giving that a try.
EDIT: didn't work. Guess I will try a backup and do a full wipe. If that fails, I'll go to the Authorized Samsung Repair place here and see if it is a hardware issue.

Volte ,has to be enabled by your sim service provider !
That said, obviously your service provider ,must support this feature . ?
I had to phone my service provider and request them to enable Volte ( in my sim card settings ).
Take into account that if you have a branded firmware on your device ,that the firmware has to support Volte .
I had issues in the past ) with Volte been "disabled " /not working ,
( Service provider issues/mistakes )
I then had to contact my service provider and request then again to check my sim settings and re enable Volte again .
Bottom line ,
Service Provider "controls "the enabling etc of Volte ..!(sim card )
So yes , with Volte enabled ,my data connection does not drop when receiving voice calls
( otherwise it should drop )
good luck .

Works for chinese version, not sure about other models but you can try. All that still works. Google services, call recording, disable app through adb, etc. Only issue I discovered is music stutters if you don't switch sound effects to Kirin or another effect. How to = Just change region to china in app gallery, then apply and download beta through my Huawei app (You'll see available devices, just choose yours) then go to settings and software update. It'll now show up for download......
Updated mine yesterday and can notice (too early) an increase in battery life by 10-15%. Also I like the UI much better than Android 11. All google apps are working without any issues. I have the Chinese model.

Post this update every product from Google works fine without any issues. If you want to disable the update change the setting to disable overnight install
I'm assuming Ascending ringtone is still not able to be disabled as I have not found it. I hate the feature and wish they would put the option back to turn it off and it rings at full and not this BS as I have missed many calls due to this.

All my Google apps, WhatsApp and text messaging work just fine. Notification has changed - swipe down to see them.
I really think the snappy feel of my mate 20x is lost after harmony os 2.0... the top right corner of the phone is also heating up a bit.. its been around 8 hours since the update. What do you guys think? Will it improve?
Anyway to get harmony os on global mate 20x evr l29
