[Q] Samsung GT-I9300 Not registered on network.

I am having issues with my phone not registering on local China Unicom network. First I updated my firmware to Android 4.3 UK version and I think this is what messed up my modem. I downgraded back to 4.1.2 and lost my IMEI. I then fixed my phone for $50 but I don't know how exactly the guy did. I upgraded again to 4.3 and lost my network again. I do not want to pay $50 again. This time I made a backup of my efs and restored my IMEI but I still cannot get to register on network. I have tried so many solutions but none seem to work. Just to avoid repetition I have updated my modem, installed modem files recovery ([DDEMG2 and XXDME4]), tried other custom ROMS and official firmwares but I keep getting the same error. I dont know how this Chinese guy fixed my phone but he rooted it and when I inserted the sim card it asked for network unlock code. I am writing this as it might be that my phone is set to locked version. I have also realized this has caused an issue with my cwm recovery which says E: signature verification failed. i am able to fix this by re-installing version 6.0.4.3 which then automatically updates or downgrades(I don't know) and brings back the signature error. I have my IMEI, anyone please help me with this.

Network problem

After flashing an international stock firmware on a chinese phone I've lost Imei and band so the phone can do anything but detecting my sim card.
The firmware was flashed via bootloader.
Is there something I can do? Are there possibilities that I've lost the EFS folder and the phone is gone?

help needed - S6 IMEI/BASEBAND UNKNOWN -

Hello dear ones, I'm lost and I need your help.
I've bought a used SM-g920f, knox x0. It worked flawlessly. Until the first evening when in the middle of a phone call the phone app crashed. After resetting the phone it was still unable to connect to network. I have noticed that baseband/IMEI were set to unknown and so it could not read my sim card.
First I have tried the obvious - upgrading from lollipop to marshmallow. It went easy but did not help. Neither did help resenting to factory settings.
I have rooted and installed twrp recovery adb and stuff.
After almost two days playing with it, I seem to be out of options.
What I tried:
Flashing Different roms - stock and non-stock. (G920FXXS3DPB2_G920FXEU3DPB1_G920FXXS3DPB3_HOME, G920FXXS3DPB2_G920FOXX3DPB2_G920FXXS3DPB3_HOME, Pure-Stock.ExtraLiteROM_XXU3DPCA.DEODEX-v5.5.by.ambasadi, XtreStoLite-ROM-3.0-Final-DPCA) - I do not know the country of origin of this device. (the back is from testing unit), is there some way to know correct original stock ROM ?
Flashing Different modems - (G920FXXS3DPB1_Modem_TWRP, G920FXXU3DPB6_Modem_TWRP, G920FXXU3ZPA1_Modem_TWRP)
Checked sim card in another phone/different card in this phone - if sim card would be invalid, would I still get missing baseband?
Xposed Imei Changer - it did change IMEI. But that's it. Baseband still missing.
*#0011# and other *# stuff..
And I have wiped /efs (it did generate new nv_data. Guess now even broken IMEI would make ma happy)
Any ideas ?
How can I know what can be wrong? /efs partition? wrong firmware combination? hardware issue?
In Samsung Phone Info I get empty on Modem Board, Hardware Revision,Samsung Serial Number,Baseband Version.
Than you for any help or idea!
tried smart Switch emergency reinitialization?
Just to be sure, knox is triped now?

IMEI number deleted

I have a Cricket branded galaxy s6 on the Cricket network and I was having some issues with the fingerprint reader which led to an eventual factory reset after trying many other things and of course I forgot to turn off reactivation lock beforehand. When booting back up I realized my Samsung account wouldn't sync up and I realized what I had done and after trying numerous things to fix that problem it led to me flashing the firmware for my phone and of course I didn't make a copy of the efs folder. So now my phone cannot connect to any network because the IMEI number is showing as unknown and so is the sim card status. So my question is... Is there anything I can do now to regain network connectivity?
If you are rooted you may restore nv_data.bak and nv_core.bak, that may get your IMEI back, if not, you can purchase a new and clean CERT file to get a new authentic IMEI back.
Would the phone have to have been rooted before deleting the IMEI number? I still have the original IMEI number written down as well

930FD Dual Sim Network Lock

Hi, my phone is currently locked to carrier smart. Before flashing my first rom, as long as I had 1 smart sim card on any sim slot, the other one can read any other carrier. After flashing rom, if I insert 1 smart sim and another one from a different carrier, I get the network lock notification. It works fine though if I just use 1 smart sim only, or smart sim for both sim slots.
Any ideas on how to revert this? Or are there any unlocking apps I can try for free? Thanks!
Got that same phone few days ago, and as far as my knowledge goes the F and FD version shouldn't be network locked as they ship world wide (international model with exynos chip). From what you saying, its after you flashed the ROM you got the second card locked, so my first question would be what ROM have you installed ? and can you link me to it. 2nd idea or question.. Did you flash the FD ROM or the F one? the F is a single sim version, it does have the second slot in there actually but its disabled or locked, so it might be that the 2nd slot is disabled or something. 3rd, have you tried other ROMs ? or even stock firmware, you can confirm if the ROM is the issue.
And my advice is to not try the apps, most of them are either outdated that only work with exploits in old android versions, or a complete scam. Waiting for your reply.
Hi Salazar, thanks for answering! I already forgot what rom it was - that was about 6 months ago. I remember then I had a backup of my EFS and baseband using TWRP. I remember restoring those when I first encountered the problem - that's how I got my 2nd sim slot working again. Problem is I've already lost that backup, and when i reformatted my phone yesterday, the 2nd sim slot wouldnt work anymore. Just tried flashing a number of custom and stock roms earlier today - problem still persists. If you happen to have the same device (G930FD) - mind sharing your TWRP backup for baseband and EFS?
