No 5G?

Am i correct in assuming this doesn't have 5g? How come? Does it have to be enabled?
5g has hardware requirements, a 5g modem chip, Zenfone 6 doesn't have one. So, no it can't be enabled.
Edit: Confirmation of NO 5G form Asus: https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/6296/zenfone-6-5g-querry

Right now you have to buy devices that specifically support 5G. It's not standard. It requires a separate 5G modem.
5G should be integrated next year and should therefore be supported in some form in Snapdragon 865 devices.
In its current state, 5G modems also costs more.. uses more battery, take up way more space to implement.. and the networks are kinda so-so in terms of readiness and wide-spread-ness...
There is a reason why all the 5G phones released so far are all very large.. and also not exactly in the "affordable" space
5G is in my eyes anyway a totally unnecessary development. I do not see the need to have everything connected, speed is already good for 3G, coverage of 5G is lower requiring more towers, and radiation exposure and its implications on health are not clearly evaluated.
As for the OP (@salespalace), why do think you need 5G?
Don't really need it at the moment to be honest. Just wanted to make sure. Interesting to see if they release a 5g version

Is there a way to "unlock/enable" LTE bands for the POCO X3 NFC?

Hey, I have tried searching the internet quite extensively and would like clarification if it is possible to get the POCO X3 NFC to be compatible with LTE bands 12, 66, or 71. Some of the things I found said it was possible, but would not work if the phone did not have the right antenna, and trying would be overall harmless. However some of the other things I found said attempting it had a high chance of bricking the phone and though it might enable/unlock those bands because the processor is compatible with those bands, the phone would not actually be able to connect to the bands because the processor recognized them and then it would not have any signal. Could someone please clarify if it is possible and if it is could you explain how to enable bands safely? Thanks so much!
Sadly, I don't have an answer, just a pointer: apparently, POCO devices (or even recent comparable ones from Xiaomi, like the Redmi Note 9S/Pro) aren't listed in the database at https://willmyphonework.net/ -- you might want to submit a request through the "Device Brand not listed?" button...

Question Poco X3 Pro (SD860) Supports 5G. Can We Enable It?

Hi, I Read the Full Specs Of SD860 on their Official Site. and There is Mentioned that SD860 Supports 5G. So, My Question is " If SD860 Supports 5G, Is it Possible to Enable 5G From a Software Update or from a Custom Rom ??
I think SD 860 has Integrated 5G.
link of SD Official Site: https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon-855-plus-and-860-mobile-platform
5G modem required since 5G is not integrated on the chip.
No way to enable it as far as I can tell without the hardware.
POCO X3 Pro doesn't suport 5G. He simply doesn't have a modem (hardware) that supports 5G, so he cannot be enable by software.
The specs in the Qualcomm website state that, check the full specs (modem can vary)

Custom roms keep the same function .(normally but maybe some not, beta or bug).

Can changing my phone's model number be able to unlock nfc?

I am using Samsung Galaxy A13 4g, and NFC is Market/Region Dependent, so my phone dont have it because I'm in Asia, while it is only unlocked in the UK. I want to ask that if I change the model number of the device to the UK, will NFC be unlocked?
My English isnt very good, I'm sorry about that.
