Question TB132FU Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 compatible with precision pen 3? - Lenovo P11

Hey I bought TB132FU Xiaoxin pad pro 2022 from Aliexpress with Kompanio 1300T I got it with fake global rom “tb132fu_s300062_220921_row”
I ordered a precision pen 3 of Lenovo cause I read that it’s compatible but the tablet can’t recognize the pen I tried everything. Maybe it’s cause of the fake global ROM I will appreciate the inputs of the community about it. Thanks a lot

did you charge the pen fully? I read reports of people who did not let it charge completely and had this problem

I didn’t know cause I don’t have any indication from the pen.

I have the TB132FU and I bought the Lenovo Precision Pen 3, it worked for 9 days and then it stopped working, the bluetooth does not see the pen. I did a hard reset on the tablet but it didn't work. The pen has no LED, nor does it allow you to remove the battery. You can't tell if it's on, charged.

A few days later, the pen finally started working again. It was "buggy" I disconnected from the Tablet and waited until the other day. It unloaded, with that it restarted. I put it on the tablet and at the same time the Tablet recognized the pen with 0% energy and started charging it. It would be much simpler if the pen had an option to remove the battery, but Lenovo decided to seal the pen...

[Q] Software performance and Stylus questions

Hi.
I currently am using a Galaxy Note 10.1 2012 as my phone/tablet and I have a few questions before considering an upgrade.
1. How is the performance of Gimp Inkscape? Is it bearable on the 12.2 (at least Gimp)?
2. What's the highest resolution supported in Autodesk Sketchbook on the 12.2 and how many layers does it have?
3. Does the Bamboo Feel stylus act close enough as the S-Pen (No re-calibration needed)? I was thinking of re-using my old tablet PC's stylus but I don't like re-calibrating everytime.
4. How long does it charge on a regular USB port with the device off?
5. With battery saving on through settings and 3rd party apps, what's the longest you've had the device without needing a charge?
6. Is it better to wait for the next pro tablet (only 10.1 2015 has been leaked)
7. Is the stylus' tip replaceable (my 2012's tip is run down after like 6 sketches)
8. Anyway to access Hamachi servers for private networking?
Thanks!
For #4. Don't do that. Use the supplied cord and charger and plug charger into wall power. USB charging from a computer is iffy. Some USB ports do not supply 2 amps. (Most)
For #7. Yes, tip is replaceable and you get several tips in the box along with an extractor tool.

1. It's okay for what I use it for. Ps touch is about the same for me. Also use it in artrage and infinite painter. Just don't go super crazy with layers and it's fine.
2. I'll check and edit.
3. I love the bamboo stylus feel. I bought and replaced it for my original note 10.1 then migrated it over to the 12.2 when I got it. I don't have to calibrate mine.
4. Don't charge off usb port, amps are too low will only trickle charge. Use the wall or an external battery unit.
5. With a custom rom/kernel and voltage adjustments in that I don't need 3rd party apps. Without using it I only get about 3-5% drain idle for 8 hours. Otherwise using it more commonly throughout the day probably 8 hours or more. I have an external battery pack i keep around so I never really let it run dry unless I have to.
6. no clue.
7. Stop trying to murder your screen. The bamboo stylus feel came with replaceable tips of which I've used two to three so far.
8. Hamachi has an android app.

1. Never used GIMP, but Photoshop manages pretty well, as does Sketchbook.
2. Max Res is 2560x2560 with 3 layers. 2560x1600 (native resolution) supports 6 layers. 1920x1080 supports 11 layers.
3. It IS an Spen. It's literally the same technology, as the Spen is Wacom's. As for calibration, my first one did require it, my second one didn't. It's a Wacom pen. Wacom pens may need to be manually adjusted to suit every individual's need. Make sure you get the Feel for Galaxy Note, as it's the 2nd version specifically for Note devices. Intuos pens won't work (sadly.)
4. Not. It has a 9500mAh battery, chanrging it on a 5V 2.1A charger van 0 to 100 takes about 6-8 hours, a USB supplies far too little.
5. In Deep sleep this thing lasts ages, currently at 4d 23h 44m with -6% drain in total (According to BBS).In use it does about 12 hours of films.
Mind you, I don't use any Battery Saving setting, I just have GPS, WiFi, Sync etc off, non-root bloatware removed, replaced Touchwiz with Apex and Greenify on most apps. If you root and delete more of the bloatware you might get even longer out of it.
6. The announcement, if it happens, will happen at the CES 2015. 6-9 January 2015. So by the end of next week, we'll know. I doubt it as there have been no leaks (one for a 13" device, but I don't know if that'll have an Spen)
7. All Wacom pen tips are replaceable, including the Spen. They're supposed to come with a small bag of 3-5 tips and a silver pincher.
8. I have no idea.
Keep in mind that this is on the more powerful Snapdragon+Adreno LTE variant. The WiFi variant runs a less powerful Exynos with Mali CPU. That will affect performance in graphic apps.

S-Pen not working but touch

Hi,
I already did a lot of research the last few days but could not solve my problem, maybe somebody hat the same problem.
The problem is as simple as in the title. My Note 10.1 GT-N8010 does not respond to my S-Pen anymore but to my fingers.
The problem occured after I didn't use the tablet for a few days. The only thing i noted was that it ran out of battery and switched off (vibrating). When I wanted to use it, the tablet date was reset to 2012.
I already replaced the S-Pen and the Digitizer glass as well as rooted to cyanogen and switched back to stock rom 4.4.2.
Any suggestions what i could do next?
Hi,
Having the same problem. When I use the stylus of my Note 3 it works perfectly. Very strang.
Have absolutely no clue what's wrong with my Note 10.1
You already have more luck with yours?
Hey,
no I were not lucky.
I figured out how the whole stylus works. On the mainboard is a chip that generates an electromagnetic field that tracks the styles. So i guess this chip might be damaged and it is not possible to replace that without replacing the whole mainboard. For information see androidauthority[dot]com/break-it-down-how-does-the-s-pen-work-154435/

LG K20 V Bluetooth keyboard general unusability

Hello,
I recently bought a generic bluetooth keyboard and track pad to use with my phone. While it did work on my Jellybean tablet that I tested it on, when I pair it with the k20 v the track pad sporadically responds when ever it feels (about one in every eight swipes of the thumb). Not to mention the keyboard that skips and repeats (sometimes continuously)characters.
Thank you for reading, I am prepared to send it back to the Ebay seller, but I would much rather get it working

HP Elite x3 Lapdock w/ Galaxy S10

Hey folks. Figured I'd go ahead and get the ball rolling on this. The note9 folks have have a thread for their note9s, so let's have one for the Galaxy s10.
the x3 elite Lapdock works pretty good with the s10, about as well as folks are reporting it works with the note9.
I'm having basically the same issues as those people over there are
Issues:
-Sound issues
---Built in speakers and headphone jack never work (There are some work-arounds, I need to do more reading) so far only the phone's speakers work, and only when I reboot both phone and lapdock (but don't need to do this every time)
-Trackpad buttons, (No Left or Right click, only tapping works. It's not bad, takes some getting used to. The track pad on this thing was trying to rip apple off and failed and it's really sad because I'm sure it could've been great lol)
Everything else works. This may become my new daily driver. Need to figure out if blue tooth speakers/Samsung Buds will work with this setup, because if they will, the other issues will be non issues.
Remember to record what ever steps you take to fix something as clearly as possible, and remember to note exactly what model of s10 and lapdock you have.
Mine:
Samsung Galaxy s10 Model: SM-G973U 9(US.. T-Mobile Prism White 128GB Pre-order)
HP x3 Elite Lapdock Model: V8H07UTR#ABA
Thanks for Reading
Your S10 has a Snapdragon right?
Yes it is a Snapdragon s10.
I am returning my dock this morning because spontaneously over night it has decided to stop working at all. I have no idea if this is just the interface between the phone and the lapdock being finicky or if the dock itself has failed. I'm suspecting the latter.
So i'm kind of out of the game for the moment but I'm definitely hoping to encourage more conversation on this.

I just bought a HP lapdock with my s10e and the same thing happened on the first day but i figured out that if I change the setting to screen mirroring when I first connect it then back to dex it will connect properly.

Its a bug. You have to playing some sort of media (music or video) while you plug in your phone. You can stop playback after it launches DeX
So i get
So I get it synonymous with video in the background not to run. The reaction to the communication is always a little different. Once I was so far as the mekn Smartphone dex has detected, and no hdmi error message is still no image. Do erit I came only once. 'll use another jabel, just use thunderbolt 3 cable

Question Poco X3 Pro - Adapter charge problem

Hi,
I bought x3 pro original and i`m not sure what is the problem, but adapter is not charging the phone. I can see the animation, green battery charging icon, sound, and the percentage increasing, but after 1-2 hours is on the same percentage, after 2-3 hours percentage is decreasing. If i use only USB(plugged in my laptopt or external battery) will charge(not fast). I have latest stable MIUI version, nothing custom.
Hi! You may have a bad adapter or a buggy PMIC.
Yeah, but what is the solution?
Solution is to return the phone, to get it repaired/replaced by the seller. Simple as that. Use your rights as a consumer.

this is not a solution for me, but i will call for a service..i bought a original phone(checked), i see on internet there are many models with this problem and many of peope of who have the same problem are saying 'is from software'
First thing I did when I purchased a Poco X3 Pro was to buy a quality brand 10A USB adapter ( 5V 2A ), and charge the phone with that. Original quick charge adapter is still packaged in the box the phone came in, not to be used ever.
Screw the industry and their quick charge instant gratification must have powaaah to post on tikky tokky instagrammy while playing Fortnites on 120Hz 200 FPS battery bull****. Pardon my french.
Xiaomi has a track record of having issues resulting from quickcharge crap, and their tendency of cutting costs. Redmi Note 3 Pro comes to mind. Quite a number of threads on that one...
Also, many of people who say "is from software" are not smart, to put it bluntly. If you look around enough, this forum can make a man laugh out loud quite a few times.
