Can anyone help me with screen stutter on Black Shark 4? Most of the time when I watch a video the screen stutters and lag a lot, and the audio ends up unsynchronized because of it
It mainly happens with vertical videos such as tik tok and whatever someone sends me on WhatsApp, but occasionally it happens with horizontal videos as well. I've read it could be the screen refresh rate, something about 144hz not syncing with the source fps, but I tried using 60hz to no avail. It's getting really frustrating to watch whatever it is. Also, that doesn't happen with games and rarely on YouTube (if Fullscreen, on vertical videos it's more often and in shorts it's almost 100% of the time)
I really couldn't find any answer about that anywhere, so... Does anyone know what's going on or at least have the same problem? The phone is maybe 2 or 3 months now, and apart from this I haven't had any problem with it
I have the same issue

I have this issue two times in 2 months, when playing a yt movie in chrome browser at full screen first there was no picture only sound, then everything freeze and phone restart. Somebody notice this issue ?
The no picture issue is very often when playing a full screen Yt movie in chrome, someone can test it pls ?
I have the G955U version of the S8 Plus. Most apps that I use will occasionally refresh while I am using them clearing any progress that I may have had. These refreshes will normally happen in pairs as well, happening about 30sec to a minute apart. The most noticeable refreshes happen on Snapchat, Youtube, and Twitch apps.
So for example, in Snapchat if I take a picture and put a caption, etc. it will refresh and I will be taken back to the picture taking screen forcing me to retake a picture. On youtube, I will be watching a video and the video will reload and start where it left off and then it will do it again about 30 seconds later however this time, the video will be black and I can still hear audio. I normally fix this issue by going to the next video and then going back to the original video. Twitch will just reload the stream and chat. It seems as though this will happen on most apps, including games and messenger apps. But I haven't had it happen on browsers yet.
Any ideas?

In this thread they suggest it's a network issue. So far, with airplane mode on, i've had no screen refresh issues.
This has been a problem for a while with my Galaxy s8+. I'll be playing a game (using my phone horizontally) and the screen will flip upside down for no apparent reason. Playing tense games with this problem is infuriating to say the least.
I have searched many places for an answer to this. But whenever I try to specify my problem to Google it always comes up with another problem that has nothing to do with mine.
The question: Is there a button/function thing on my phone to disable the screen flipping around everywhere?
When playing videos on YouTube and Snapchat the phone freezes for one second and then the sound stays ahead and the video stays a lil bit behind. Please can someone help me with this issue
Weird i dont have the issue. Can you explain further? Perhaps a video showing would help but it seems to be an OS issue. Try backing up phone and factory reseting
It's like YouTube and some other apps doesn't support the FPS I don't k tho im not sure but the phone freezes for a sec and then the video and the audio don't be in sync and some game are sooo smotth whereas other games lag even more
I'm 90% sure I've had similar bugs randomly. I've also started having weird FPS drops in YouTube as well.
In fact I'm getting a little fed up with the random bugs!!
Hi guys,
I have noticed that sometimes when filming anything that has lights I get odd little artifacts that move around the screen even when the picture is still.
Also happens when photographing stars (extra stars appear lol).
In the pics provided the dots are not lights on the stage, in the video they move around. When I was filming they were not present on the screen.
I was wondering if anyone else had this and if they did how to stop it ?
Not too big a deal but not perfect either.
Thanks
