Question Dual e-sim at the same time. - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Hello,
I have a problem. When I was using 1x e-sim and 1x physical sim, then both works fine (in the same time, both numbers are available to call/text/network.
But
When I switch physical to e-sim so, 2x e-sim I can only choose one of them. Both together doesn't work, one must be unavailable.

In my opinion everything is fine and you can use only one esim and second must be phisical for dual sim mode in one moment.

One thing more!
Physical SIM must be installed in 1th slot.
When it is installed in 2th slot, then doesn't work with e-sim at the same time.

I think that the S22 only has support for 1 active eSim at a time (maybe some hardware limitation, maybe there's a 'radio' module and it only works on 1 connection).
It allows you to add multiple eSim's, but only one can be set as active.

mha-l29 or other Huawei that has dual SIM with both SIMs 3G or higher

Just to verify the mha-l29 allows for both SIMs to be 3G or higher? I'm wondering as some countries like Australia shut down their 2G and I would like to get a local SIM for data but also have my roaming SIM active. The Huawei guide online says only 2G for the 2nd sim, but screenshots here state otherwise (sim 1 2g/3g/4g and sim 2 as 2g/3g)
Correct - mine run as 4G on SIM1 and 3G on SIM2 - I use Telstra and Optus... you can also flip between which one has the 4G in settings, etc.
I can confirm, my mha-l29 has one sim on 4G and one on 3G

SM-986U, flashed to U1, CSC won't change with sim.

Purchased a Note 20 Ultra SM-986U. It was unlocked by T-Mobile.
I use Cricket, which is an ATT MVNO. It generally will be "AIO" in Samsung CSC list.
I flashed the Note 20 to U1, and no matter what SIM I put in, it stays at TMB/TMB/TMB.
I have tried what I believed was the specific ATT firmware as well, but still, TMB/TMB/TMB, no matter what I do.
I saw someone post about this on reddit in the T-Mobile subreddit, but no answer yet.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to change?
Without that, I'm stuck with no 5g, volte, or wifi calling. I'm basically stuck with a Tmobile device...
Hello, you could try *#272* your IMEI #... you can select your CSC.. Be warned .. It could wipe your phone.

Is there a way to replace the default Samsung phone app with a different version?

I bought the Galaxy S21 in the US and was very disappointed to find out that it had limited functionality than variants sold elsewhere (like dual sim and built-in call recording). Is there a way to replace the US version of the phone app with the non-US version so that I can have call recording functionality?
Left: US Phone app
Right: Non-US Phone app

Welcome to XDA
An interesting question. Was thinking the same thing if it was possible on a stock Samsung.
Thinking about but no plans of doing... the stock apk is a little glitchy but overall works well and consumes little battery.
Switching to dark mode be an improvement for you. You can also easily change its appearance with free Galaxy Store themes.
What issues are you experiencing?

Sim recognition issue
Owned the phone for about a month now. Phone was working perfectly fine for the majority of this time. I use 2 different sims and they were both working smoothly until recently. A few days ago, I woke up and the phone wouldn't recognize the Sim...

Seems almost identical, as if you didn't need to make a new one at all...

pseudo-VoWiFi on any phone

Hi All.
Let's assume I have two SIMs on phone.
SIM1 corresponds to roaming, the carrier supports VoLTE and VoWiFi so I can easily enjoy home pricing for calls and messages as soon as I have WiFi.
SIM2 corresponds to local provider and allows to have access to 4G internet for quite cheap price.
The task is to make SIM1 working using SIM2 internet in the places where WiFi is not available.
This approach sometimes is called as "pseudo-VoWiFi" and works on iPhones and latest Samsung phones with One UI 4.
My question: is it possible to realize such pseudo-VoWiFi on any Android phone? For instance, now I have two network interfaces:

Is there any way to forcely push routes to IMS service to use rmnet0 rather than swlan0 to make VoWiFi working with mobile internet?
Any suggestions/ideas on this?
