Thanks for this suggestion... as I'm always looking to watch YouTube sans ads...
My daily drive Android 12 Galaxy A32-5G has YouTube disabled in favor of the FOSS NewPipe youtube client instead, but what I did on my spare J7 (Android Oreo 8.1.0) was download this app to test it out.
One observation is that there are a lot of apps found on the Google Play Store with similar sounding names as yours if you run the search (which I had to do on the phone as I only access XDA-Developers from a PC web browser).
First I installed ADS Skipper after determining which was yours.
Then, I pressed the red "START" button.
Then it said "STOPPED!" so I pressed the "START" button again.
Up popped an "Activate" screen which was instantly overshadowed by a "Sign up Today" screen for "HRC Fertility" (whatever that is).
At the top was a pullout to "Continue to app ADS Jump" which I pressed.
Then came the "Activate" screen that was overshadowed before.
Activate: You need to activate this application in accessibility, video ADS skip feature will work after activating" [sic]
Where the two options are: "NOT NOW" & "ALLOW ACCESS".
I pressed "ALLOW ACCESS" & then I turned it on for "ADS SKIPPER".
That brought me back to the "START" screen which itself was immediately overshadowed by an ad for Kinney Woodworks LLC (whatever that is).
But the slider to "Continue to app ADS Jump" was at top as before.
So I hit that.
Now I come to a super confusing screen with a bunch of confusing buttons, saying at top "STOPPED!" in pink, and then, in red "START", and then below that "Mute ads = off" in magenta, and then another "START" button which is overshadowed by an ad about "Gun Laws Have Changed"...
I turn the magenta Mute ads to ON and then the top of the screen has swirling rainbow-colored strings saying in green "RUNNING...".
There are no other instructions, so I guess I can now go to YouTube?
I am not sure what to do next so I just hit the back button a few times to get back to my Android homescreen.
Then I start YouTube.
Now what do I do?

Sometimes, you download an application because you find it interesting and then finally, it don't need or like it or more (it arrives very often), or you have just changed of rom, of version of Android. I've got a lot of apps, between my changes of terminal, the articles of test for a French blog etc...It's really easy and fast to download some free apps.
In brief, for the most ancient, you must have an important download history :silly:
For awhile now there’s been a way to delete the free crapware from your download history, but not many users are aware of the feature. For your benefit we’ve provided a handy step-by-step guide to getting rid of the apps from your download history that you’re confident you won’t be revisiting in the future.
On first you need the last update of Google Play Store apk, which is 3.10.9, Especially don't say “why I do not have do it earlier ????”. For the simple one and good reason which this functionality is very recent.
=> Open the Play Store App on your device.
=> You’re going to be presented with a list of all your currently installed apps, and below that you may see a list of apps ready for update.
=> Tap the options button in the top-right corner of the screen and select ‘My Apps’ from the drop down menu.
=> Swipe from right-to-left to bring up the ‘All’ screen.
=> From here you can delete the history of any free app you have downloaded. Simply tap the circle with a line through it above the word “Free” in the app list.
=> If you want to select multiple history entries just hold down on the app until you feel the short vibration. Then go through the list and select the other free apps you want to remove.
=> Tap the circle with a line through it in the top right corner if you have multiple items selected and you will be prompted to select ‘OK’ or ‘Cancel’ to confirm your removal.
You’re done! The app list should now refresh, and it should be missing whatever you selected for removal.
Maybe it will be long for some download history. Mine was new and fresh after 2 hrs :victory:

Bonjour cher compatriote,
Thanks for this tutorial.
I still don't understand why we can't do this directly from the Google Play website. It would be so easy: tick or untick what we want to keep .
Salam(Hi) all,
Android is a powerful OS because of its wide variety of apps, games, customizations...etc but sometimes it's hard to find the unique app/function you exactly want without trying tons of apps and digging into deep settings of each app trying to find your workaround.
In this thread I'll be glad to share some of very simple and useful apps that works perfectly on our Atrix 2 :angel:
1. Disable Service "Root"

}
as name suggest it's a tiny app (only 500KB) that can disable running apps services (and even system app services) it's very useful for disabling Google Services (privacy concern) and you can disable specific app service as example the popular music player PowerAMP has 2 services which runs forever "updatewidgetservice" that update widget will be always on even if you don't have the PowerAMP widget on your screen! and "headsetpluggedservice" (service that waits for your headset to be plugged to run a song) it will be always on even if you have disabled the headset option! so you can simply by one click disable them.
Also it works as a monitoring service app, so you can see what's the normal (running apps) option in settings can't show.
Works perfectly in Kitkat.
2. Internet Speed Meter Lite
Another tiny yet powerful app that display a small icon showing real time internet traffic speed plus having a schedule of everyday data usage consumption for both WiFi and 3G/4G traffic.
3. Lock Screen
The Most Important app for our A2 (as the power button in A2 is very soft), it's only 20k and simply add an icon to your home screen that (when pressed) lock the screen instead of pressing the trickle power button.
4. Timed Toggles (Auto Airplane)
The next big thing, Timed Toggles (only 130KB) can save a lot of battery by enabling (Airplane) mode on a set of times as example you can set it to turn on airplane mode at midnight every day, also it provides the same functionality for enabling/disabling WiFi, Bluetooth, vibration, sounds, brightness...etc
5. DroidEdit (free code editor)
A must have code viewer/editor with syntax highlighting for (C, C++, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Lua, LaTeX, SQL)!
it provides an excellent on the go code reviewing with the ability for undo/redo,search &replace...etc
More small and useful apps will be added soon and it would be nice to share your app suggestions too :highfive:
Note that all apps are totally Free with No ads,fees,subscription...etc

What I did to remove the google account was as follows,
After connecting to the Wi-Fi network and accepting the terms, get to where the account is requested,
At that point just press the home key 3 times fast and the talkbak is activated ..
The next thing is to enter the talkback configuration and how do you do that?
Just make a line from the top left-down-right, as if it were the letter L and the talkback menu is activated.

}
The next thing is to enter the menu by pressing until it goes blue and without dropping towards the right part of above in talkback settings
Once inside, two fingers are used, from bottom to top to scroll through the menu, we just look for privacy policy and press twice to send us to the browser, in the bottom will appear 3 options, (google chrome-browser-samsung) we choose Browser default by pressing 2 times
Once you send us to the browser we deactivate talkback by pressing 3 times the home button.
Already in the browser we look for quickshortcutmaker we downloaded it, there will not appear a notification that it is already downloaded, what we will do is still being in the browser we go favorites and look for history-download history, we enter and there will be the apk we installed it Send to unknown origins we activate it will return us to the facility we open and ready
After putting an account to which we can enter, we will return to the application, restart the device and ready
Just cracked my honor Note 8 screen, I want to get rid of the phone. I'm located in California and will sell the phone for $195 including shipping, via PayPal. Phone works perfectly fine, gold 64GB. You can contact me through my Craigslist ad on SF Bay Craigslist, just search for Honor Note 8. Thanks
Why would one remove google account unless you are too privacy concerned?? Linking and syncing with google account helps dummies restore their contacts notes and whatever.

My phone is relatively new, not rooted yet, I keep cache clean, got ad blockers for non-rooted phones like ad clear and block-this and yet I have that intrusive pop-up ad after EVERY call !
Easy to ignore and close it....but.... a pop-up ad on a system app??
That's how I solved this issue on my LG V20 running Nougat:
Go to:
Settings / General / Google Services / Ads / Opt out of Ads Personalization
That did the trick for me ....
A pop up ad after every call....way to go, Google
My 2 cents
Hi, I'm using a Nokia 3 (TA-1032), upgradef rom Android 7.0 to 8.0.0. I've tried the above solution (or rather Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization) but it did not help one bit. I still get the following type of pop-up after each call:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I click the 'ads' button, it takes me to the Google dialog for adding a payment method (creditcard/PayPal/voucher). I believe the ads dangling from the top right corner of the home screen still show up occasionally but this post-call pop-up ad shows after each call (different ads).
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Ok, as it turns out I can't post pictures yet because of the 10-post rule. I tried posting the URL but that just takes me to a similar hurdle. Can you see the image by copy/pasting the image URL from the botched post above?
Nope, I can't see the image.
I had this problem quite a while ago, so I don't even remember what else I did then.
I guess that if you keep on googling , using the right key words you will find other solutions.
Here is another one for instance:
https://us.community.samsung.com/t5...fter-the-call/m-p/164985/highlight/true#M4228
Good luck
I did manage to find it out eventually. An app called 'QuickCall' appears to have been the culprit. It's odd, since -- as far as I can recall -- initially after I installed it, it did not show any ads.
Thanks again for your help.
As soon as I finish talking to someone who called me (received call) and drop the call, a blue window shows on my screen (covering the whole screen) which says Caller ID on top and kinda gives information about a call I received. I tried to access tabs and see if theres some app opened, but there are no open apps. Just a pop-up after every call showing some information about the call.
On my S9, I was able to go to Settings, Google, Ads and Opt out of Ads Personalization, however, this just changed the ads to non personalized ads. What the issue was is that Google added a screen after the phone call is done that allows you to enter a note and that page has the ad on it. To get rid of this, on that same page, click the button to turn off add note after call. From that point on, the ad doesn't show and you go back to the view contact screen instead. You still have to back out of the contact screen instead of the enter note screen but at least you don't see the ad anymore.
I had the after call ads with Drupe...I installed AdClear and poof! Awesome app...a must have for non-rooters!
My Solution(worked)
Culprit app was vault. Open vault app, go to settings and uncheck call reminder.
in my case a notepad app started to give ads. I saw its tiny icon in the top left corner of ads, uninstalled the app. It fixed the problem.
It is showing because of vault app
Thanks @ahemersquad its works.
MIUI 12 enhanced the previously-introduced casting feature, making it a more handy tool for presenters. Saving the trouble of tangled cables, you can now cast anything on a bigger screen. Why is it a “universal” tool? Let's take a detailed look here.
Steps To Use Casting Tool:
1. Open "Settings" and then tap on "Connection & sharing".
2. Now tap on "Cast" and enable the "cast button" [Note: Connect both your Phone and PC, etc to the same Wi-Fi].
3. It will start to search for available devices, Tap on the available device to cast.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Feature of Casting Tool:
1. With one tap, you can hide private items whenever you want.
2. You can do other work during casting.
3. You can cast with your phone's screen off.
All in all, this amazing feature allows you to hide private items while casting, minimize a window when you’re multitasking on the go, and cast with screen off, which will decrease power consumption.
Good
