Hello guys,
I own a Huawei Y9 device bought in Colombia and I just moved to Spain (dunno if it's relevant) and I've been experiencing internet slow speeds, I have a 200mb internet connection speed, my friend who lives with me ran a speedtest and he got 200mb straight while I run the same speedtest on the same internet connection and get 18mb tops (proof below), downloads are slow and they even get stuck.

Following internet tutorials I have tried resetting all networks, cleaning data and cache of WiFi Direct app, turning on hardware acceleration and WiFi tethering on Developer Options, ran a net optimizer app but on my Huawei Y9 nothing seems to work to fully take advantage of my 200mb internet connection.
What can I do? Is there a way to fix it? Or should I get another phone?
Any help would be much appreciated, cheers!

Do you use GpsFix to facilitate & speed up your gps satellite fixation ?
if the answer is YES so I'm sorry that you have to remove it now.
As the program in its update became a spam, putting an ad on the home screen as reported by users.
But the problem with me was a whole different story, more annoyingly critical.
I'm usually not connected to internet turning off my my mobile data, lately my phone (HTC DESIRE S) became crazy with its screen turning on & off by itself frequently draining my battery in horrible manner.
After days of searching for the cause with removing a lot a lot of programs till i knew the cause (thank god before factory data resetting) that was the GpsFix.
The good thing that every thing works normal again.
The program link in Google play

Hello everyone.
I've been checking something and it looks lik my geolocalization via 3G networks is broken.
I'm running stock unrooted.
I have H / 3G full bars.
I have geolocalization turned on, battery saving settings as the GPS would not locate me in the building and also because I do not want a 10 feet pinpoint nor turn by turn navigation, so battery saving is exacly what I need.
I also have location publishing turned on.
Yet Maps or Tasker are completely unable to locate me....:crying:

Without touching anything it's working again....bah....
Not working once again....sigh....
Actually it's even worse today, when i press the locate me icon it doesn't say unable to locate me, it thinks that Im at work, but I'm not since 3 hours and 50 kilometers...
After a reboot it finds me...how can I check what was messed up? Kinda worrying considering that I've all stock unrooted...
Am I the only one with localization issues over 3g?...
I'm running speedtests and it seems both my WiFi and LTE caps at 10mbps. Normally its at 50-55mbps on other devices.
Already turned off WiFi optimization.
Here's my speed test from a few days ago.

Have you tried another WiFi network? It could be your router set up. What about other devices connected to the wifi?
If you use a custom kernel, try changing the TCP algorithm.
have anyone experienced it here, I have a literally slow wifi connection at around 2mbps which is pretty good for streaming like youtube and twitch but when I wanted to use my bluetooth earbuds and speakers the stream starts to stutter and seems like the bluetooth radios interfere with my wifi connection. i am on a b/g wifi
Which phone are you using? I've got an Honor 6+ from Three in the UK, and I've been suffering from incredibly poor performance over Wi-Fi. I just tried testing it with Bluetooth off / on / on and connected / on and streaming audio. Speed was normal until I was connected to my bluetooth speaker, when download tested at 0.33Mbps (full speed on this limited connection is about 2.5-3Mbps).
Unfortunately, this phone has the worst wifi of all smart phones in the past 2.5 years. I was about to buy this phone but lucky I saw this review! Can't believe Huawei could release it like this

I don't know if you guys are encountering the same difficulty as I with certain apps, the problem in the case is that they only connect to the data mobile and Wi-Fi just do not work. I saw that the problem also occurs in One + and some Pixel, all with the Pie version.
After a long time trying to solve the problem, trying everything, formatting everything, trying on different Wi-Fi networks, and nothing worked.
The applications I had a problem with were: Netflix, Twitter, some websites, speed meters like SpeedNet, and so on ...
For now the only solution I found was using AFWall + firewall and disabling IPv6 for the entire system, the following link and configuration is below:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.ukanth.ufirewall
In the application preferences, in Rules / Connectivity leave it as it is in the screenshots
