I'm running speedtests and it seems both my WiFi and LTE caps at 10mbps. Normally its at 50-55mbps on other devices.
Already turned off WiFi optimization.
Here's my speed test from a few days ago.

Have you tried another WiFi network? It could be your router set up. What about other devices connected to the wifi?
If you use a custom kernel, try changing the TCP algorithm.

older 2.0.7
I let each find best server according to ping and made sure to get settings the same.
Did 3 tests each and all three were consistent. Curious thing is it shows me in TX.... Not, I'm in Arkansas.
yeah Im still using an older version as well

You need to run more than one test. One is not good enough.

Is it mandatory for both the phones (one sender and other receiver) to have this app for sharing?

Hi guys,
I am having a problem with my wifi not at all picking up much range even if im in the same room as the router. All my other phones and laptop are running at full Wifi whereas the Nexus 5 updated with the latest CM using CyanDelta is having this problem. I have like 1 block of signal strength if any at most times for my wifi. Also I have noticed that my range is fluctuating very frequently. I mean it keeps going from 5 blocks to 1 or 2 and then back to 5 and it occurs very frequently. I dnt know if this is an issue with the update or with CM but the wifi for one was working perfectly on the older version of my CM11. Is it just me or is anyone else also having the same problem. Could not find any issue like this relating to the nexus 5 on the forums. Any help is appreciated.

Does a mobile hotspot (Moto E) provides lesser bandwidth than a (direct) USB cell modem? Does the hotspot somehow eat up some portion of the total bandwidth?
Assuming, of course, that both devices support the same identical 3G/4G bands/protocols and use the same plan/SIM card.

Does anyone experience the same issue when you connect to wi-fi, mobile data indicator keeps showing it is still in use?
I turned off "Switch to mobile data" in wifi connection configs, in dev configs "Always use mobile data" is turned off as well. Also, tried restarting phone and resetting connectivity configs to defaults. Nothing helps.
I'm on the latest software update
Try using bixby routines to automate mobile data off when connected to a WiFi network.
