Px3 MTCD magisk modules - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Hello guys. I am using Dasaita px3 Hal9k 7.1.2 mod software. Which magisk modules are there to use the system faster and more comfortably? What are magisk modules for mtcd systems?

I found a module and tried it. Quite successful. The device accelerated.
Android_go_enabler, very good working

EdXposed 4.1.2

Since I imagine there are a few EdXposed users out there and since you may be wondering if the new version works or not, I can report that it does for me.
I have stock Pie 10.0.8.0.
I upgraded Magisk to 19.1 (using Magisk Manager) just before I did this so I don't know if it works with Magisk 18.
I upgraded Riru Core from 17.1 to 18 (https://github.com/RikkaApps/Riru/releases/tag/v18).
I had been using EdXposed Installer (https://github.com/solohsu/XposedInstaller/releases/tag/Ed_v2.2.4) but apparently EdXposed Manager is newer? So I replaced the former with the latter (https://github.com/ElderDrivers/EdXposedManager/releases/tag/v4.3.2).
I installed EdXposed 4.1.2 (sandhook version) (https://github.com/ElderDrivers/EdXposed/releases/tag/v0.4.1.2).
I only have 1 Xposed module. No Play Games. It works (stops annoying nags from games that want Google Play Games when you don't have it installed).
I didn't try the YAHFA version of 4.1.2 (that's the hook method that previous releases use). Apparently sandhook is better and faster.
Apparently 4.1.2 adds resource hooking support which should enable more Xposed modules to work. I have a few I plan on trying (that did not work with 3.1.8).
Does snapchat work after installing it? And can we use all xposed modules with it?
I'm too old for snap chat.
In theory, EdXposed 4.x.x adds resource hooking so more extensions should work compared to the 3.x.x version.
There's a thread where people are reporting things that work or not.

If you want to try extensions I recommend having the mm tool so you can disable edxposed from twrp if it causes a bootloop.

Magisk - not seeing all of the modules

Hello,
Attached you could see my current version. For some reason I can't see all of the modules in Magisk. There are some that I'm looking for and I know should be there but they are not. Ive download the YouTube Vance to my device and installed it via the app but it is not on my device altought it passed.
Any suggestions? Is that becaus of android 11? Also would like to install edxposed but it is telling me version is to new? Is that the reason for all of it?
Vanced is not supported as magisk module anymore: https://vancedapp.com/

[Android 10] install EdXposed and Xposed without loosing safety net

Hi,
My question is simple, what is the difference between Xposed and EdXposed, and if there is a way to install it without loosing safety net.
My phone is a Oneplus 7 with android 10.
Thanks and best wishes for the new year!
EdXposed Framework allows to install XPosed Framework on devices running Android 10, Pie, and Oreo .
EdXposed requires your device must be rooted with Magisk v20.2+
By means of MagiskHide you can prevent SafetyNet's hardware attestion will fail.

So it's impossible?

Latest SafetyNet version not only checks for Android got rooted but also for device's bootloader got unlocked. The problem for John Wu - developer of Magisk - is that the new key attestation workflow now is hardware-based, and the code is sent by OEM to Google's server. May be some day he will find a solution ... it's unlikely that MagiskHide will be able to alter the key or intercept the transmission, IMHO.
Resume: Until then SafetyNet works as expected by OEMs and app developers, who have an interest in having an unmodified Android.
To add, you could try magisk module MHPC (Magisk Hide Props Config) which is what you'd use to modify device fingerprint and other system props.
The particular features in MHPC you may want to use which MIGHT get SafetyNet to pass are the Device Simulation and Force Basic Attestation. Combined, along with setting a similar device's fingerprint as long as that selected device isn't designed with hardware attestation, could be enough to fool SN. EdXposed coupled with Magisk's own Hide feature to hide themselves from GSF, GPS, Gpay, etc, should prove successful. The issue lies mostly with which order the software is installed and hidden, sometimes with rebooting being absolutely essential between certain steps. It really is a trial and error process.

CustoMIUIzer EdExposed Module Does Not Recognize EdExposed: "module is not active"

I have
- Rooted phone with Magisk 21
- Riru EdExposed v0.4.6
- Riru Core 21.3
- CustoMIUIzer v3.1.5
- Miui 12 on a Redmi Note 7 with android 10
When I open CustoMIUIzer a prompt says that the module is not activated inside EdExposed, but it is.
Other modules like Greenify works with my current setup. I'm using this old version of riru core and edexposed because this combination is the only one that works for me. I don't know if I need to update it for CustoMIUIzer to work, and if I do, do you know a combination that works?
Thank you very much in advance.
Why don't you give LSPosed a try?
Hi @dedq
I've heard about LSposed but I don't know what's the difference between EdExposed, and how to install it. Does it do the same?

LSPosed is even better due to performance. I think you will like it and I use it too!
I just don't know whether your module is supported by LSPosed but you can check that.
@dedq thank you, I installed LSposed and luckily CustoMIUIzer was available, now it's working perfectly!
For anyone wondering how to install LSposed, simply:
- unninstall EdExposed first if you have it
- Update Magisk to latest version (in this case mine was 23, LSPosed requires this)
- Install Riru Core from Magisk modules
- Install LSPosed module from Magisk too
- From LSposed search for CustoMIUIZer and install it
